I've been using this for about a month, and it's incredibly useful. I upload earnings reports and the associated earnings calls, then listen to the podcast to get a simple overview. It's much more engaging than just reading the reports themselves. If something sounds interesting, I can delve into the reports myself and ask questions.

I'm in the construction industry. I will oftentimes put the specifications of a project in a notebook and use this instead of 'CTRL + F' in a PDF. It is wayyyy more useful. "What type of concrete is used on the building foundation?" "What mark-ups are used on Extra Work?"
It looks very similar to MS-Loop with an AI feature. I think Microsoft will add AI soon to Loop. It also shows that MS-Loop could be the future of note-taking and replace OneNote in the future.

yeah this is so powerful. great overview Francesco. The podcast element blew my mind. I listened to the bitcoin whitepaper "podcast" the other day in NotebookLM. The journal entries podcast is a great idea!

This app might be "smart", but personally after playing with it for like 4 hours, I can assuredly say it is definitely not ready for deployment. There's no note linking; no decent folder structure; no tag system; no text formatting (for example, no quotes, no tables, no comments, no footnotes). Everything is super barebones. I don't even "get" if I'm _using it wrong_ and this is more supposed to be an over-arching text recognition system meant to be used in combination with the google docs you create (which now support inter-document linking -- in a very janky way I might add). Also, the AI features seem "useful" (like the summarization and podcast thing) but they're more for students and people who really need to memorize the broadstrokes gist of a subject, as opposed to serious researchers who are *delving deep* into a subject, and to whom linguistic details really do make all the difference. TL;DR The product is super casual, and unless you're a highschooler who hasn't heard of Obsidian, don't waste too much of your time here and look elsewhere.
It's not a note taking application. You could upload the entire IRS code and ask it "What applies to me as a small business owner?" Try that with obsidian.

Maybe I will be able to convince you to partner in the future 😊 I’m splitting note taking into the inputs, organising and recall, my hypothesis is that organising is currently only useful to help recalling information, but it can be 100% automated allowing for more focus on the writing and what to produce with all those ideas etc

Have you noticed that they're a bit too optimistic, there is no critical analysis done - so best to be careful when using this for investing purposes.

Hey I tried the audio podcast feature but its not creating the podcast of full document I uploaded. It just converted 4-5 pages
