As much as I love America, I am very grateful to live in the United Kingdom when it comes to metal detecting. Finding 200 year old stuff in the states cannot compare to finding 3000 year old gold coins.

I have an old stone chimney still standing on my little 5 acres. Was detecting around it one day, found a very nice arrow head, it just happened. to be next to a silver 1942 dime. Very exciting double find.Figured the arrow head was found years ago an it was kept on the mantel of the old fireplace

Hey, Jase... Great video. Great advice. You found part of a porcelain doll and marbles at the same location. That is very strong evidence that there was a home site there and the remains were plowed over. Amazing luck on your part. And that piece of melted lead could be a sign of a military camp in the area. Looking forward to seeing much more of you on You Tube. Maybe if you invited the Aqua Chigger for a visit you could rub elbows with an internationally known detector and share some good stories. That would be awesome. Everyone who watches his videos would see you and start watching Jase Robertson dig up history. One more thing... You are looking and sounding more and more like your dad. And that is a definite compliment. Regards to your family.

My buddy was on an important phone call and missed his speech on stage. Jase was about to drive away to the kids hunt when I asked if I could take a picture of him with my buddy. He didn’t hesitate and said sure. My buddy was happy the rest of the day. Thanks Jase. _/👍

Now....who would a thunk it. Ole Jace treasure and relic hunting. Awesome. I was up your way about a month ago, in West Monroe. I am from Alex. FYI, about 6 years ago I was in Idaho and everywhere I went folks would ask me where I was from, because of my accent, and at the time I had a beard. When I told them Louisiana, I was treated like gold. A fly fishing guide informed me, the reason why was because everyone up there is plum stupid about Duck Dynasty. LOL. A young man in an Ace Hardware in Picabo, Idaho was so excited, he excitedly shouted out to the other employees....HE IS FROM LOUISIANA. So, you and the family have made a huge impact on America in a very positive way. God Bless.

I got a Garret and a Whites and all the appurtenances last year and I am HOOKED. But what I LIKE MOST, that you did here in this SHOW,, Is that You, TOOK ALL THE GREEDY//treasure LUST// WANNA GET RICH-ism, right out of the equation and You turned the whole thing into "A Cosmic Connection With the Past,, through THE THOUGHT of what might have been,, OF THE PERSON WHO LOST THE COIN." Very Good.!! A Great HOOK.!! Making up the "game of marbles story".!! Thumbs UP.!!!

I'm planning on picking up a detector for spring we have a small 40 acre old farm up north we hunt at. One of the local farmers lease the land to plant corn. I figure it's as good of place as any to learn and not have people laughing at me or busting my balls for digging holes. I guess it's just what detector to pull the trigger on. I think the AT PRO are great but the Equinox 800 seems to be pretty dang good also but maybe a little more expensive.. either way I go this spring I'm hunting where I hunt and sure to find all the crossbow bolts I lost last season haaaa... Cheers

I picked up metal detecting again after several years. I was a big deer hunter and guided many guys and kids. After a started md'ing again, deer hunting lost its luster. I just hunt the tones now - year round.

We come across old farmsteads while mushroom hunting many times in the middle of the woods and usually the only thing left is a pile if limestone rocks where the chimney was. We go back with metal detectors and poke around.. Mostly a lot of junk but sometimes find something cool.

is it a sport really? Are we going to see an Olympic event someday? The world's best hide n seek experts all together in a competition for the ages? Or were you calling him "Sport" instead of his real name? Or is that his real name? Idk

This video has got me wanting to expand my horizons and buy a metal detector and give it a go.

Honestly I would watch a show with Jace Robertson doing most anything. But this is very cool! I wish I had found this video much sooner. I hope I can search and find more videos like this. Thank you.

I REALLY enjoyed this!!! I LOVE history and I collect old coins. I have two large one cent coins, a two cent coin, a three cent coin, a half dime, and many others including 1943 steel pennies both circulated and uncirculated. If you ignore history you are DOOMED to repeat it. Blessings to all. Happy hunting. 😎😎

I grew up watching my grandaddy pull mini balls and civil war belt buckles out of the Earth in Franklin TN from the civil war along with old silver coins. Going with him to old playgrounds looking for change and watching him on our vacations in Florida colmb the beaches for lost wedding bands and gold necklaces. He's been gone a longtime now God rest his soul but I will always love those memories. I haven't even been in probably 15 years but definitely want to get back into it myself. It's good for the soul
