This is the best Harley I have owned so far. Great engine, handles well. Yes the boards do touch down every time a take it out as the roads here are all curves but no problem at all. Bit of advise remove the heal shift.
I was thinking of removing the heal shift on my Softail but didn't think it was necessary after getting used to the bike. I still use the front shift for one down five up.
Nice ride, love this camera angle! Chest cam? Also, thanks for the verbal hiatus! TOO MANY ride along videos with people running their mouth. Refreshing to just ride along and listen to those pipes.
Hi, great video, Bassanis sounds great, I'm looking for a alternative to stock exhaust, I've tried twin slash 3" Vance and Hines on the softail slim S, but sound too "racing", too loud for me even with ear plugs. What would you say on that topic (bearable noise for the pilot) with the Bassani Pro Street Turn-out exhaust ? Thanks
Is the bike pretty smooth for an old guy like me? Had a Sportster 48 and thought I was getting a concussion every time I hit a dinky bump in the road. Gosh 30 years ago I had a hard tail and no pain.
Ken Barton yeah it's stock But remember the slim S gets the 110 screaming eagle CVO engine and I'm running Bassani Firestorm pipes Subscribe to my channel, its free, to see more bikes and bobbers
Richard Petrie All depends on the style of riding that each rider has. I’d someone is hard charging rider and going into corners as such the floor boards will hit. Overall, the classic styling the floor boards offer that bike great look

Ron Coleman ... Why do you believe the heal shift should be removed?

How tall are you guys? Harley’s feel smaller than id like. I’m only 6’2
This Bike reminds me so much of the old Harley Night Train's they used to make
Awesome FPV thank you for the ride along. Beautiful bike and great sound.
Beautiful bike, best in the range for me! Lucky man.
I think that Softail Slim (S or standard model) is my FAV new Harley.
Patrick Langan agreed!!!!!!
Would love a Slim S with black Bassani Firesweep pipes. That 110 engine is awesome! Way too easy to get into trouble!
Thanks for the video, regards from Chile

Did these drag the ground on right turns? This is my only fear before buying
Sounds nice. What kind of exhaust was this? Thanks
Bassini Firestorm

awesome bike, i'm thinking bout getting this or the Low Rider S , Is there an issue with lean and scraping the floor boards?...awesome bike though
yeah I ground the boards in my Bassani up close and personal video
Allymac S F I was pretty skeptical about the floorboards too but I love em, decent lean.
Ultimate bike!! What brand are the gloves??

Does it has gas leaking issues?
All your videos are great, but, this is the Bassani Pro Street Turn-out exhaust, not the Firesweep.
