- This is truly a svelte muscular cruiser from Harley Davidson.

It has the 110 cubic inch stage 1 Screamin Eagle twin cam engine.
This is such a great running motorcycle and the handling is on point, and I don't just mean for a cruiser.
I believe it has the lowest seat height ever available from Harley which makes it well suited for a wide variety of riders including shorter men and even girls. The bike rides very light and it never feels like you have to fight it to lean into a corner. I found the suspension to be firm and planted yet comfortable and compliant.
Overall the Softail Slim exhibits crisp cornering characteristics with the compliment of stump pulling torque and will inspire confidence for the novice as well as the seasoned rider.
Bought this bike brand new in 2016. Best bike I have ever owned. A couple of things. First ditch the stock seat. it sucks. It runs like a champ. If you want to put bags on it you will need to relocate the rear turn signals. You can go long distances on this bike. Just road from Denver to Lubbock Texas and back over a weekend. It will run as fast as anything on the road. I also ditched the handlebars for 16 inch ape hangers. The cruise control is the shit! I have looked at and perhaps will get a touring bike. However, I will keep the slim.

Perfect Harley sound. I have a 99 electra glide with an 88 tc. Can’t seem to get the sound out of it im after
Everything you said is spot on. I experinced similar. So easy to ride for a big bike but also will be over the speed limit in seconds! Hahaha! Such a nice bike.

I hav this bike, last of the twin cams, seat is lousy, engine is hot, thankfully i moved out of california to mountains, its getting hotter…
I did swap this bike for dyna and I love it! I wasn't happy with the dyna at all just terrible bike. I was complaining since I got it about my dyna actually non stop- the engine, the rubber shasy, the front brake... btw was 2013 and was the worst bike what I ever ridden.
