Sorry everyone who heard clicks in the video. Oddly enough it's not my mics, the music tracks I have in the background of the video just don't blend well together (no matter the fade in and out amount) with the current version of Power Director. I'm sure it's a bug that an update will fix as I didn't have that issue in the Unboxing video of this headset.
That music in the background is annoying, makes this video unwatchable, sorry bro!

Jayden Valentine well I've not really heard any other headset than this so i can't compare but yes I'm definitely fully satisfied with the Gold's. Sounds really crisp and can hear everything around me. i play Battlefield 1 and it's great!
+Jaden Valentine while the Gold Headset has a less emphasis on Bass, it also depends on the profile you use. Infamous Second Son's sound profile has some pretty surprising bass to it. You just got to experiment with profiles a bit...

Rambo21 Yeah, I swapped between the Gold and Platinum and I felt the Gold Headset was much clearer in hearing the audio cues. I even noticed how the audio in the Gold felt more fuller compared to the thin airy Platinum. The only worthy preset is Uncharted 4 too and that's only because it's louder than the others. Uncharted 4 sounded great with its preset though with the 3D audio but not $160 worth.
the mics were a killer for me almost immediately. While neither headsets mics sounded better than boom mics I've used, the Gold Headset at least didn't have the echo nature that the Platinum has. The Platinum's Mics are Super sensitive, and depending on your head, the loose seal will cause your friends audio to bleed into the top Mic. They could have alleviated that issue if they replicated the TB 800p's Mic setup of a Mic on each cup.
Sadly there was too much I didn't like about the headset to keep it, so I returned it to Amazon. Grabbed the Plyr1, the best sounding headset I've ever owned, and will post an Unboxing soon with maybe a review as well.
lmao dude i ordered the plyr1 like an hour ago. i returned the plats. i was frustratingly dissapointed with the plats. i really wanted them to be good but they arent.
Rambo21 Yeah, I tried them with the patch that recently came out and no improvements from what I can tell. Maybe they'll get better as more patches and presets come out. For now, I can't recommend the Platinum Headset... my box for the Platinum went out this afternoon (refund from Amazon done).
I bought the Gold & the hinges broke and later headband broke. I bought a second pair of Gold. It's hinges broke & the headband broke again. I was very careful with it yet it broke in two more places. The plastic is so flimsy. I'm not buying any more Sony PS headphones.
Just bought the platinum headset for my PS4. I’m having trouble picking the best sound preset on the companion app for playing Modern Warfare, any suggestions? Good review.
Uncharted 4, gives you the best bass imo for shooters.

@@LS-qt9bo Not really, I find the generic profiles a bit too overbearing on some of the sounds.

Kenneth john Pressing the Mute button simply does as described, mutes your voice so your mates don't hear you in chat.
Now HOLDING the mute button provides the sidetone feature, aka Mic Monitoring, which allows you to hear your voice a bit so you aren't shouting into the mic because you can't tell if your buddies can hear you.
One beep is for low, two beeps for high, I think a long beep indicates it's been disabled.
It's a useful feature that I believe most headset makers should have, or at least an active sidetone feature.
