PC Engine games always had awesome graphics way ahead of their time.
Based on the animation, the designs, the cinematics, the sprite work, the details in the shots, I would've expected this to be a modern shoot'em'up, not one produced in 1992.
Yeah it looks like one of those games that tries to replicate the formula of retro games but it is obvious that are modern

Yo Shadowserg, you should give this new Steam game called Astrolancer a shot. It's like the NES game Guardian Legend, but it has a lot of challenging bullet hell bosses. I just started playing it and I'm having one hell of a fun time with it.
