This is actually a good tip. I’m on KBM but I watched a replay of myself today after noticing I was over shooting bc I was moving while trying to aim. The ones where I made the shot were the ones where I positioned myself to get the shot. So now I’m trying to get used to waiting for the enemy to cross my crosshairs instead of chasing them with the crosshairs.
It helps for sure but this applies to almost every fps game on m&k. The issue is we have no magnetic aim assist bs so if they’re moving a lot a good enough speed or your crosshair is a be one side of their body when you pull the trigger you can easily miss a bullet or two if you don’t attempt to track them. M&k is definitely an advantage until you play high level players. Then it Getty’s really hard to keep up. DMRs would be godly for us
Or to make it even better, mirror your aim with your strafe minus the enemy's strafe. Basically imagine the radical distance plus (your strafe minus the enemy's strafe) This will require a calm and collected aim and to make sure you're not freaking out, but the pay off is completely unpredictable movement, and really good aiming that will cause you to win any gunfight if you're good enough. Also be sure to give off a .5 to 1 second crouch when you become low on health to help with having your enemy miss your head at the end. If you need a better explanation, let me know
I wish 343 would add an option to adjust the aim-assist ease-in à la Overwatch. The way Infinite's aim assist currently works makes it very uncomfortable to play at higher sensitivities because aim assist kicks in/turns off way too abruptly. I suppose some people prefer this type of aim assist, but I for one just can't really deal with it.
I'm stuck on southpaw inverted look. I think it's impossible to improve with my setup bc it has been 20yrs like this. Plus I'm to cheap to buy a controller with back paddles. Smh plus I'm 45 and so busy with family my skills are crap now. 😂
I second this. Same boat except I’ve been on Recon inverted. I only play a handful of times so investing on a controller with back paddles is not ideal. That and having to adapt to it would be strange to me.
@oOoJ053oOo It is well worth getting a paddle controller my bro, I got one simply because 'every second counts' in Infinite and now whenever I play without paddles, I'm instinctively hitting the back of the controller, I can't go back 😅
I feel like I learned this too late in life but it probably doesn't work that way. I end up strafing with the intention to throw off my opponent the majority of the time. The ability to do both seamlessly would be ideal.
I've tried this but it doesnt work for me. But it def is funny when ppl do it to me and then just die cuz i adjust my rifht stick to just shoot em while their shots are missing especially when they throw in a crouch in their stafe to dodge
I'm always quick to bash aim assist but anyone who thinks mirror strafing is just for controller to allow aim assist to take over is misinformed. Mirror strafing is a legit move on both inputs to minimise cross hair movement. On the contrary you have counter/anti mirror strafing which you move the opposite direction of the enemy to purposely force maximum crosshair movement to try and flex on your opponent. There are different variants of each of them and certain games, depending on what kinds of aim assists are used, are better used specifically for that game to counter aim assist
True lol, this is a clip from a larger video - just an exercise to incorporate more of/understand the importance of your left stick when aiming - here's a timestamp ruclips.net/video/eDZdXil2Bsk/видео.html
Aim assist doesn’t work for me 90% of the time. Matches that it works I finish top of the board. Matches it doesn’t work I can literally feel it and a gold 1 could beat me one on one. The game is too inconsistent
AND THIS IS WHY PC PLAYERS ARE WORSE THAN CONTROLLER. You can watch their gameplay. They never use their movement. They always use their mouse. Yet everyone wants to pretend this isn't the case. It's mind numbing.
i always used to play like this. using the left stick to help move the reticle in position since Reach. worked then hasn’t stopped
Another great vid from the King 👑

How's that been working out for you Doom?
Great tips

If another enemy crosses path of the person you trying to kill it'll follow the person that just ran in front of your reticle it's annoying
I didn’t know Overwatch had aim assist
@@brianmeeker5786on console it does not on pc
@@william66788 good to know
Lower that sense bud.
everytime @Shyway video comes on..
let me get on the game. 😂
I started doing this, got good results fast
This is exactly what I do...but sometimes I use the right stick to aim too
Yeah, people called it 'Halo Aimming' back in the HCE H2 LAN days
The amount of people who don’t instinctively do this already makes me feel ancient. And good.

Broken aiming in this game
Aiming is way better in the Bungie games
@@Jjw338definitely not

Works on bots. Not people.
It also helps having walls and knowing when they’re about to come around the corner
Lmao what is wrong with you
@@mojozepeda so you’re saying at the end he just knows that guy spawns bottom A and is walking through bottom A door? Definitely walls bro.

proof aim assist is insane
Bro im sorry but that is terrible advice, u need to learn to strafe and aim individually, well only if u care to play in plat and up
All this does is make u predictable.

Some of us play on console. Didn't know that wasn't allowed anymore.
In the highest level of Halo, the opponent who strafes better, wins.

Lmaoooo imagine complaining about controller use in halo 😂😂🤡
