      :O And I thought I was doing something by getting it for $450! Did you get yours from the clearance section or was it returned? I was about to pick this up today but they were out of stock. Came home and saw that they're going for $450 on Amazon instead of $800. My local Walmart also had an Acer XG270HU sitting in the clearance section as it was returned but that too is cheaper online.

    Hey bro! could you please share your monitor settings, bought this monitor a month ago, was wandering if there's something I can improve.

    Since windows 10 supports dual monitors with different resolutions, until I can afford a high refresh gaming monitor like this one, I'm using the following: An HP 27q (1440p tn panel, $200 at bestbuy) and the other is an HP Pavilion 23xi which is a 1080p IPS panel and it was used but in flawless condition. Using the Nvidia control panel (Strix RTX2080, DPort for 27q HDMI for 23xi) I got the panels colors, brightness, contrast/etc almost identical to eachother, with the only difference being resolution but ones a 23" 1080p ones 27" 1440p. I forced both to run at 75hz. I use the 1080p monitor for HWMonitor and my OC software, plus youtube/etc. while I game on the 1440p monitor. Now that I've seen the two showing the exact same image with the color settings tweaked to match the IPS monitor, I can't really justify the price increase for primarily gaming purposes. The IPS panel one does have slightly "deeper" colors I would say but like I said, once tweaked they look extremely close. I'm glad I found this monitor, I haven't purchased it yet but I was looking at the Acer and Asus ROG equivalent monitors with TN panels and they're 100-150 more.

    My local walmart has one and its a display. Are the factory settings good enough or would I want to make adjustments? I like to play Starcraft 2 mostly. How good is it with videos like what you watch on youtube?

    I wonder if monitor manufacturers have a secret competition between themselves to come up with the most stupid and cumbersome OSD controls.

    So, I haven't quite understood this. Is it that you can only use WQHD with G-Sync if you run it on 120hz or what? 3:05
    This would definitely be a dealbreaker for me here. Would be glad if anyone could respond to me any time.

    How would this work on ps4 with console being 60hz. Just love the monitor. So price doesn't bother me

    • @HeyNavi
      @HeyNavi 5 лет назад +1

      Marko ASDA Driver it would be okay but you won’t benefit from the 1440p resolution or 165hz. I guess if you’re planning on getting a pc in the future, it would be good to get this monitor to future proof yourself when you do get a pc. Other than that, I suggest a monitor that’s 1080p 60hz if you’re just gonna stick to consoles. BenQ monitors are good for console gaming if you’re competitive in shooters and fighting games. The color won’t be so good in rpg and single player stuff

    • @HeyNavi
      @HeyNavi 5 лет назад

      Marko ASDA Driver No problem, glad to help. Learning the mouse will be easy and will be very precise even if you’re just starting. The only thing, in my experience, that was a little difficult to learn when going to pc was the keyboard. There’s so many buttons and even though I can type without looking, I wasn’t use to playing with keyboard. Good luck and have fun!

    • @carlc9360
      @carlc9360 5 лет назад

      @@chabib23 I see your point but as someone who plays a far majority of RPGs instead of FPS games I would prefer an IPS with better color reproduction at the sacrifice of 3ms which isnt even noticeable.

      @@best2juck right now i have an msi 27" optix curved screen with a 2k resolution and 1ms time. I dont think the actual curve is that big of a difference but it has a VA panel (which is available maily with curved screens). I loooove VA panels. Much better than TN with color and better response rate than IPS (depends on the specs) plus cheaper than ips. Rn its on sale for 300. Also think about Hz. I wont use anything less than 144Hz.
