If she is anything like Brian, she's gonna be the most sarcastic girl on Earth.
In high school she will be the girl with a leather jacket.smoking .saying hey i got these 3 shells and a pea .do you have lunch money on you !
She has one hell of a personality for being so young.
@@polaroidsofpolarbears365 absolutely
3:22 where there are actually beers on the line... Josie, Yeeah 👀
She knows what her dad does for a living.
she also moves backwards and tucks her hair behind her ear at that point, which to me all combined feels really like a "yeah, uhu, keep going, what do I need to do for those beers"
I LOVE this trick, we always do it with spoons. I've had people going for hours, the secret is to have someone that no one knows is in on it and have them eventually "get it" to drive up the frustration.
A red cross volunteer taught me this one, with spoons too
"I can't believe you got it right, for the wrong reasons." Says Mikey Neumann to Brian on Night Attack
Josie is the best thing to happen to this show. She reminds me so much of my daughter ❤️
Your name.
I like it.
I’ve played this game in a similar fashion, but with a confederate who is in the group and is holding a drink. The answer is the number of fingers (includes the thumb) he has touching the glass. The glass can be on the bar or held free. The minimum is zero and the maximum is 10. It is even more effective if, when accused of just making up the answer, you call over someone who is in on the secret but could not have heard you and they come up with the same number. This validation can be used over and over.
BTW, Josie is a delightful young lady. Please don't saw her in half.
I love these secret code type episodes. I love the "I know something you dont" type of things
I’m cool with these episodes, but I hate the games because it would always be one person that would have 50 games, and this one was one of the only ones I actually got. It’s fun to see it, but it isn’t fun to be constantly the person out of the loop. Especially because the friend didn’t know how to put a lit match in her mouth or find my card in a scrambled deck beforehand
Holden Tuma hey guess what I know and you don’t
You are an awesome person 😁
There is a long list of those games here dragon.sleepdeprived.ca/games/logic/logic_games.htm
but I would suggest only looking through the list only if you want to teach the game.
@martianunlimited now I can be the asshole that spends 30 minutes holding something above other people twice a week entirely hijacking the conversation for a bland game. (I’m still salty about 3rd grade bus rides)
I’ve played a similar game with a broom stick, the solution brought back so many memories
When I first played the game, it was with playing cards. It made it all the more fun when you discover the trick and then helped the game-master by pretending to do some mental math (while mouthing and pointing at random cards) when you correct others with the right answer
I am both proud and upset that I figured it out almost immediately. You've taught me too well, Brian!
God I love Brian getting called out by Josie. Great energy
We once did this trick with a really smart kid and after awhile he suddenly burst out in tears that he couldn't figure it out without the "hints" the stick thrower was giving! He'd gotten it but didn't know it!
I don't like tricks that set boundaries and then expect you to answer outside of them. The whole point of a game is to smartly work within those boundaries, otherwise "the answer is two and if you say no i will punch you in the face" is a completely valid answer too
Oh man I remember this one! I like how there’s more hand movements and better opportunities to see it in this version as opposed to the fingers on the edge of the table one
These are absolutely becoming the highlight of my week. Now that Jason's involved too, it's great to see that Josie's holding her own. The interplay between you all is brilliant!
Oh man, these games you've been doing remind me of when I did boy scouts and we would camp all week long and show the new scouts the games and see how long it took for them to figure them out. "under the umbrella" is another good one!
This is funny and cruel and i love it. Either i learned this from you before or somewhere else, but it felt nice to get each one right.
Brian! I thought it was how many objects were NOT touching any other objects. If you watch back all the trials, it actually fits the data very closely.
I like that these are getting remade from when I watched them when scam school first started. This is slightly different. Nice.
I'm going to credit my years as a camp councilor, but I was so so proud when I got it on the third throw. Well, pretty sure on the third and jumping up fist pumping on the fourth.
These remind me of some of the games we played in the field to pass the time. Two of my favorites were Black Magic and Road Trip
This is one of the best and easiest ones you guys have ever showed! Keep it up guys!
Josie, you have one heck of a cool dad, trust me…!!!!
PS - at the very end there, that has to be THE weirdest Fist Bump I think I’ve ever seen….. 🤔
I remember playing this with my friends at a restaurant. We played a little bit different. We placed our fingers at the very edge of the table, and of course we couldn't throw our silverware because we were in public and a restaurant. I loved playing, especially when I found the secret.
Who would have thought a channel called Scam Nation that has a Scam School associated with it would be family friendly. Love you guys!
This is the first time I ever figured one of these things out on my own, I’ve finally graduated.
SquareSpace sponsoring Scam Nation is about the most apt description of SquareSpace i can think of.
I usually do this with 3 pieces of cutlery, and position them carefully. I *love* the idea of pointing by sliding things across!
I usually help at a summer camp for kids during the summer, so this is a great one when you're waiting for food :)
I remember watching the same game played on an old video of scam school! I love this video and that one so much!
This reminds me of... I forget the name of the game, but basically we just took turns in a circle and could only say "two up" "one up, one down" or "two down," and the person who introduced the game would tell us whether we guessed right or wrong.
Only the game host gets it right for a while (except for a few lucky guesses from other players), but when someone finally realizes it's the position of the current caller's hands, you start seeing some sly smiles and some interesting poses when they call their own!
(I can further explain to anyone interested).
Man, I remember one of my friend's dad doing this when we were younger. It's so agonizing being one of the people trying to figure out what the trick is when half the people are grinning and the other half are pulling their hair out. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Was hoping you were gonna follow up with this one, just like in the old days! Scam School Flashback, now with 100% more daughter
Honestly, if that percentage was anything other than 0% or 100%, I'd say there are some troubling issues that need some medical attention...
100% of zero is still zero.
@@edsiefker1301 "100% of a daughter more than before" is how that should be interpreted, not "100% of what you had before" :)
This reminds me of a game in school where we passed a pair of scissors around and said crossed or uncrossed but it was whether our legs were crossed or not!
That's like "The moon is round, it has 2 eyes, a nose, and a mouth." Clever misdirection!
You have a lovely daughter Brian. I look forward to you and Josie continuing to entertain us.
During conventions MCs do this trick, so to decide who gets to the buffet line first. But with spoons and form it to really odd shapes instead of dropping it.
When I initially learned this trick, the person was teaching me "Chinese numbers" and was deliberately setting them up every time. eventually they started throwing them randomly and it was driving me nuts lol
You know what would be fun to add to this game is to think what could determine the number using the sticks such as how many ended up crossed and then for a few rounds make that number with you fingers and then when they discover the number matches the amount of crossed sticks you just go back to random numbers with your fingers. Just popped into my head so I figured I'd share the idea with y'all.
Awwwe! that’s Brian’s daughter? She’s adorable! Bless her heart! :)
God i trully love how you are teaching her all these stuff, i wish you were like my cool uncle i never had :(
Been years since I watched scam school. Enjoying the nostalgia trip
Please we want more trick like these
the beauty of Josie being brought in on this is that this proves that all of scam school was just dad training for annoying your kids.
I remember watching the old Scam School episode or something with this. It took a second for my brain to remember the trick, but i got it
I thought I got this from the start. I have seen something like this before. Have to watch the caster's hands, and see how many fingers hit the table.
6:00 Josie answered too fast before Brian had a chance to find excuse to put his fingers on the table.
He didn’t put any fingers down. Maybe because he didn’t have a chance to, so that ended up being the answer, or that was the answer the whole time. We will never know.
@@bigragu6828 I'm sure it's not a planned answer, but there will ALWAYS be an answer.
When I did this and they answered fast I made them right sometimes to make them think they were on the right path.
Edit: I did this with a deck of cards to to make it more confusing.
I did this trick to 5 guys stuck with me in a room for 8 hours. 1 person figured it out. when we finally told the rest how it was done half the room wouldn't speak to me for about a day claiming I had cheated them.
Josie got so interested when beer was put on the line XD
I teach this game to Cub Scouts. It's great to see the audience finally gets it.
This style of trick reminds me of the Game of Mau. So much fun.
Principal: Mr. Broshwood we need to talk about your daughter...
Please do more Josie vs Jason!
Used to play this as a drinking game using 2 bar spoons. Take turns throwing the spoons and say the number. Those who didn’t understand ended up very drunk lol
I’ve played this game and still love it!!
I was curious to see if you would do elbow bumps again, like you did last week. This is how tattooers have been shaking hands, for forever. Since we have to wash hands/change gloves so often we take every opportunity to minimise it. These days it makes sense for us all to make a habit of! Hense I say, bring on the day of the elbow bump!
Brian, How about the 10 within the 10's trick with Josie. You point to the cards and Josie, after her back is turn, she finds the picked card.
A substitute teacher showed us this in middle school, so I immediately knew what was up. The first zero got me, though. The camera didn't show your hands the entire time and I thought the point when you touched the table just wasn't shown.
Reminds me of the game “One up, one down.”
I was going to comment the same thing. First time I played I got very drunk, but figured it out in about 15 minutes.
I wanted to try and figure it out before the reveal and I tried to find a site to practice with and get more rounds like I did with Petals around the Rose, and I was so frustrated because I just couldn't understand why there wasn't any site that I could use to play the game
That was a good one Brian, totally had me fooled!
i love the art on the chalkboard
Josie drew that herself! It's "Cool Josie" and I think a cool alligator
@@scamschool very cool
My dad taught me this when I was a kid and it took me ages before I figured it out
Is it okay to be proud for understanding it before the reveal? 🤣
First words out of my mouth not ever 10 seconds into the video. "Dude, you need a haircut."
Funny, I said that when I saw the original Scam School video of this trick.
It's so nice of Josie to feature smaller content creators such as these Brian and Jason characters on her channel.
We would play this when sitting cross legged using only a knife, fork and spoon! We would put them in random positions, and then have your fingers resting on our legs for all to see! Great memories of drinking games at university. :-D
can Josie permanently be part of the team she's awesome!
I absolutely love this game. It is so much fun!!!
My dad used to do this one. But, he'd just lean over his fingers at the edge of the table. He'd say, "the answer is on the table."
if there was a static camera and the shots didn't move so much I think I could have gotten it before the reveal.
Id name this "Finger Tell". Literally anything can be used. But what is its best use, as an opener or closer?
Tbf I dont think Josie could even see half of Brian's hand gestures from there she sat. In the orginal episode he was so bold but this time the finger touches were incredibly sly
I have been looking for a way to annoy my friend for infuriating me with his own puzzle. His sanity is mine.
I know this as “spoons” because I used to play it at dinner tables waiting for the food and it would drive people fucking insane lol
Ugh I'm so annoyed because my buddy taught this to me but like Brain said I got swept up in the codes of past scams that I didnt see it.
6:15 Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell Tale Heart"
I learned this one from my cousin so I actually know it right away lol
this one was new to me, but i've seen so many others of this type i knew it on the second try xP
ever seen the one with passing 2 sticks and then saying whether you passed em open/crossed?
same type, sticks don't matter check dem legs xP
I love already knowing the trick
I've done tricks like this before, so I got it immediately
The one I know, we use the number of word when you ask. like
How many? 2
How many now? 3
what is the number in this one? 7
I have no idea, But this is probably the first time I got it right without being shown . BUT , I was the only one watching and had to celebrate with myself but, Its ok, I figured it out !!
paused at 7:00 and i didn't read any comments. i'm pretty sure the answer has less to do with the way the sticks are thrown, and more to do with Brian.
i won't give away any more than that, but if i'm right, i think it might be one of the first it'll be the first time i've picked it up BEFORE the people Brian is trying to scam.
*edit: I GOT IT RIGHT!!! DANCING AROUND MY ROOM READY TO PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS WHEN QUARANTINE ENDS!!!
With the covid hair I request a flash back episode where you bring back the spikes
Growing up at family dinners the grown ups would play a game called "Nevada Nevada" it was so exciting when i finally figured it out after years of trying
Imagine the charisma that is Brian B as your father.
How many Argonds around the pond?
What is this game anyway? I've never heard of it. So I don't know what they are guessing at particularly when they say zero. Anybody care to explain for me please?
It took me a few times to figure out if this was the trick because I couldn’t clearly Brian’s hands because of the camera angle
You need to teach this girl some coin magic! :D
First time someone showed me this trick I kept guessing it again and again and again like correctly for like five times so they thought I'd gotten it but I didn't actually guess it I was just guessing the number and being really lucky I did eventually actually figure it out it was a really funny trick when I realized I was just guessing the correct number
I learned this as Indian dice with rocks but I can see how that would not be good to continue spreading 😅
I need Brian to have them try to figure out the location game.
If the first location is the modern rogue HQ, and the second location is DAVE, what is the third location? :)
Answer at 7:22
I hate the fact that I was getting it, but not fully, when Jason paid him off
Early into the video prediction: Number of 'sticks' not touching another
8:16 Josie noticed something
Thumb up for renaming this to *Josie nation!*
Getting Josie into these videos is seriously the only good thing to come from Covid-19
Hope Josie's getting more than $10 for these episodes.
Are we not gonna talk about how the brushwoods finessed Jason out of 10 dollars ?
