Harry Houdini isn't known for being a magician. He would be against that term hugely, Brian. He was the worlds most famous escape artist. He also went around disproving magic and the supernatural. He was a friend of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but he had a problem with Doyle getting sucked up by the paranormal when he would often be able to prove the seances Doyle did to try to use to talk to his wife fake, as well as several other seances. So, Houdini might use the word illusionist, but he'd never term himself a magician. I'm ashamed that you don't know the basics about Houdini, Brian. That said, maybe the reason you don't state these facts about Houdini is that it makes Houdini have to admit he's wrong with the Houdini's key trick.
