because as a low rank player myself. there is far less co-ordination. meaning games almost always go LATE. so super late game carries are still good picks. I would argue all the s-tier options here kind of suck at low rank, as they fall off at 60min+ games
As a low mmr smart player, i can say that the majority of us are in here because we have teammates that choose a meepo or pa then go support. And we have AA and Lions playing as carry. When you play as a support, this is what kills you, bad carries. Or shit role picks. Like he has lc, we need to counter him, maybe get axe hes pretty good. They pick sniper....

Twist the knife on Spectre isn't about reality casting a dagger, it's about reality having 1eec cooldown, so you can go back to your pre-tp place just like old Spectre, it's giga good because you can farm and pick fights at the same time
Yeap its really cool thing imo since this patch all about group fighting and while most of the carries had to farm and so on, spectre can just jump to the low hp people or at least make an impact on the fight.
Time zone is actually really good, if it just wasn't for boots of bearing, and it kinda sucks with only one level in it. Level three time zone for instance is super good.
for clarification, i think on dk you go mid and use your ult with the acid dragon facet to potentially get really early objective pushes, but i also think that relies on your enemy falling asleep at the wheel and actively giving you space
Time Zone on Void isn't troll, pro teams have been using it as a carry and pos4 with Gleipner/ Aghs Shard and Aghs Blessing from RS. It seems troll because Chronosphere is so good but Time Zone is actually strong too. Making abilities, attacks and movespeed from enemies so slow they can't really fight back, and giving yourself/ allies buffs for the same amount inside of it, is pretty good it turns out. Especially for a void that's not looking to farm 4 items and a refresher before winning. Because of the attack speed buffs in Time Zone you can skip going Mask of Madness and still kill people, and you can get more levels in Time Dialation earlier because permanently giving the enemy cooldown aids when you have Time Walk/ Reverse and gleipner is pretty good too.
The Time Zone vs Chrono debate largely depends on your team vs theirs and who needs initiative more desperately in order to win fights. Chrono just stops your opponents from playing the game, Time Zone lets you take better skirmishes if everyone on the team can pull their weight
Spectre facet for her W passive is really strong. It works on neutral camps, so the gets bonus damage on every attack (half damage if camp has creeps). Using this facet you can safely and quickly farm the camps near the safe lane when the lane is pushed. Echo Manta Spec with the 15 damage talent for her W absolutely shreds a support. It’s 255 pure damage per attack when someone is isolated (between hero and two illusions). Spec is dangerous, just not figured out yet. Spec her W & E to farm quickly and get to your 15 talent with Manta Echo and gank every chance you have.
I've been shouting that on top of my lungs since the start of this patch that why the fuck no one's picking the Forsaken facet but they're not even picking Spectre. She's extremely good in lane now. You can't manfight her, you can't bully her & even if you do, she still farms quickly with her W. My winrate this patch with Spectre is over 75% People even pros haven't figured her out yet & it makes me furious.
She is figured out alright, Spectre needs items to be useful and has no innate farm capability, also she is arguably the weakest laner carry in the game so often loses lane. Yes she can shred support with even 1 item be it Echo/Orchid/Diffu, problem is she often can't get them fast enough for them to matter. But sure she is a very hard hero to deal with if she gets good start and squeezes out that first item.
Yeah as Jenkins said it's an aura meta so people group up a lot, which spec hates. While the desolate changes are cool and have good potential, she still has too many problems to be a good carry. Maybe one more buff away
Iv played some Luna games and it slaps hard. I go MoM, into boots of travel and Aghs. After that I go hard farm and TP in to drop ults, get a kill or 2 and keep farming into refresher, and then daedalus. When you hit 20 and get 2 glaives on each beam it turns your lucent beams into absolute nukes
I think some facets just exist so a hard counter doesn't feel as hard of a counter. AM facet can help with LC, Oracle dmg facet can make enemy AA picks feel less horrible and so on. It's fun experimenting once in a while with different options, so as useless some facets might seem, it just adds to the versatility of the game.
I've been having quite a bit of success with lycan pos 1, echo or fury into bkb, harpoon or basher etc. has really good damage, chase potential, itemise to lock down, 2 shots supports with ult
I still enjoy playing luna that damage reduction is super nice I get agha immediately after my manta and it helps on team fight when behind without putting yourself on danger.
my understanding of the bloodseeker facet is that it gives you an assist on the scoreboard, but does not give assist gold. Not sure which version is correct
For supports, you just go to fast urn/vessel and gleipner. For carries you just go gleipner first lol thats not even a joke and i dont even buy boots most of the time just make sure you got the movement speed talent. After gleipner you can go typical carry items (bkb,crit,satanic,skadi). And the shard is op as well.
Here's some meme carries in game: 1. Warlock, yes this hero with facet for buffing golems based on your amount of hp and mana regeneration can do insane amount of damage, very hard to kill, but can fight only once in 2 minutes. 2. Silencer, this mf can deal a lot of damage, silence whole team, make you rage quit dota, really strong hero, but squishy. 3. Jakiro, hero with the highest potential attack speed, combine that with a very decent magical damage from abilities and you have a very good overall hero at all stages in game. 4. Riki Spanish, nothing good about him, should go to dogpoo tier where he belongs. But sometimes this hero feels completely broken. In one game u can end with 20/0, but most be like 0/20, no in-between for him.
I will say, Snipers new scattershot shrapnel ability makes him incredibly strong mid. As you are hitting level 4 shrapnel very quickly, 3 bursts do around 700-800 damage in total. You can usually kill anyone on the map with very little effort once you are level 6, it allows him to roll super super early when compared to beforehand. I believe snipers low win rate is due to everyone taking the ghillies suit facet, which is actually a super niche ability when you think about it, that would only benefit very particular matchups. Yet everyone has interpreted that facet to be the "good" one. Yes, the new shrapnel only lasts 1 second, doing less damage "overall". However, it is now effortless to get an entire damage burst out of it, whereas the old shrapnel was so easy to walk or move out of, that you would never get its full damage off. Even if you used an Atos and Scythe, it would not be enough to get the full damage off. If you tried to farm camps with the old shrapnel, even the creeps would leave the camp and be able to walk out of its damage about 2-3 times. Now you can straight up burst down heroes super early, farm camps crazy fast, roll crazy fast. I am finding that I am completely rolling games in about 25-27 mins. With the old sniper, he would come online a little later in the game, so we never felt how oppressive he can be with an early game powerspike, but it is almost impossible to do anything. I outrange the towers, no one wants to show from fog because shrapnel will take half their HP, it can be really oppressive. Another thing worth mentioning, is that I am killing people with it that I should really not be killing. It keeps happening. People do not realise that they are even in danger, which to me, shows that people do not understand or realise how much damage it is going to do to them. 3 right clicks from me on mid whilst you are trying to get a last hit, you are pretty much done for, because 3 shrapnel charges and an ult are now going to follow up and there are very little heroes who can survive that at level 6, or outrun or outmanoeuvre the range. Its busted imo.
You can see win rate by facet on dotabuff and ghillie suit has +2% win rate over scatter shot. To me, you pick scatter shot for support sniper (which is really strong actually) and ghillie for carry/mid sniper, and ghillie could be so good combined with blink dagger or shadow blade
Urn on spec was good, Generally i dont build like radiance anymore since it needs too much time i go for like urn manta drums it's still good for spec specially for his reality with low cooldown

I don't think jugg is that bad in pubs. You can't just afk farm as much as youd usually be able to and gotta get a bit lucky with a good early omni. He pairs well with a lot of the popular supports right now as well. Haven't seen him basically at all in Riyadh though so I don't think your placement is incorrect or anything
Specter being D tier is strange to me. I’ve seen many Spectres snowball with killing sprees from very early in the game with her new shorter cooldown ult… which seems antithetical to how Spectre should be.

Jugg feels decent still. Mjollnir rush into blink and he shits on anyone, he wins most lanes and he is hard to deal with. I went mjollnir into BF into aghs for PL and absolutely destroyed him even 50min in
He’s good against the other carries, because they cannot target him without getting Omnislashed, it’s really the Supports have to control Jugg. I hate playing against Jugg as Carry, because I need to rely on my Supports to deal with Omnislash.
@@chronology556 Actually a lot of carries are good against Jugger like, PL, PA, Chaos Knight, Ursa, Anti-mage. Generally supports one shotted by Jugger with Jugger's Aghanim. Jugger's all skills (Omnislash, Aghanim and Blade Fury) dodge support's skills.
Methodical PA does not need a battle fury for farming, I'd honestly just skip it for more impactful items assuming you aren't against like PL or something.
Im currently on a 9 win streak building 2x wraith band, boots and echo saber. The strength lets you join fights asap and the mana regen sustains your farming while the echo saber passive ramps your farm speed and ult stacks. Dagger + phantom strike gives you 4/6 stacks instantly and is very strong for deleting a hero before they can even react.
Good tier list, but I think you are wrong about WK, dude legit feels busted when he crits 1500 with only armlet and radiance and then do 750+ damage again because of his new passive. Also, Lycan is carry now
WK is absolutely doing nowhere NEAR 1500 damage with his crit. I tested Phase + Bracer + Armlet + Radiance on a lv15 Lina with 9 armor (reasonable average at the time you have your items). You crit for 490 and then Spectral hits for ~306. That's ~800 damage total. It's good, but it is not "busted" and nowhere near your 1500 damage number. Also, Lycan is a "carry" in the sense that he's a stat stick. He can, but you lose a lot by going his Spirit Wolves facet over his other one that's far more valuable. It can work, but it's easy to shut down and Lycan is ironically easy to kite in fights once you start getting things like Halberd, Euls, Ghost, etc. He also farms pretty slowly and doesn't like to buy any farming items. Lycan's probably like C tier at best, I think.
I have not seen a wraith king win a single game in any of my pubs lol (Divine to Immortal). He just feels like a slow farming, squishy hero with no teamfight ability that can't do anything unless the game goes 60 minutes.

can someone recommend some heroes that can counter the 3 s tier heroes??? been seeing them in a lot of pubs and i need help countering them in lanes

Specter being D tier is strange to me. I’ve seen many Spectres snowball with killing sprees from very early in the game with her new shorter cooldown ult… which seems antithetical to how Spectre should be.
the mk facet is def huge i can see him in s tier too and ta has alot good matchups, id put brood wr in s tier for sure tho

Fear talks about competetive dota mostly. In pubs PA is ok.

Jugg feels decent still. Mjollnir rush into blink and he shits on anyone, he wins most lanes and he is hard to deal with. I went mjollnir into BF into aghs for PL and absolutely destroyed him even 50min in
He’s good against the other carries, because they cannot target him without getting Omnislashed, it’s really the Supports have to control Jugg.
I hate playing against Jugg as Carry, because I need to rely on my Supports to deal with Omnislash.
@@chronology556 Actually a lot of carries are good against Jugger like, PL, PA, Chaos Knight, Ursa, Anti-mage. Generally supports one shotted by Jugger with Jugger's Aghanim. Jugger's all skills (Omnislash, Aghanim and Blade Fury) dodge support's skills.

Methodical PA does not need a battle fury for farming, I'd honestly just skip it for more impactful items assuming you aren't against like PL or something.
Im currently on a 9 win streak building 2x wraith band, boots and echo saber. The strength lets you join fights asap and the mana regen sustains your farming while the echo saber passive ramps your farm speed and ult stacks. Dagger + phantom strike gives you 4/6 stacks instantly and is very strong for deleting a hero before they can even react.

Good tier list, but I think you are wrong about WK, dude legit feels busted when he crits 1500 with only armlet and radiance and then do 750+ damage again because of his new passive.
Also, Lycan is carry now
WK is absolutely doing nowhere NEAR 1500 damage with his crit.
I tested Phase + Bracer + Armlet + Radiance on a lv15 Lina with 9 armor (reasonable average at the time you have your items). You crit for 490 and then Spectral hits for ~306. That's ~800 damage total. It's good, but it is not "busted" and nowhere near your 1500 damage number.
Also, Lycan is a "carry" in the sense that he's a stat stick. He can, but you lose a lot by going his Spirit Wolves facet over his other one that's far more valuable. It can work, but it's easy to shut down and Lycan is ironically easy to kite in fights once you start getting things like Halberd, Euls, Ghost, etc. He also farms pretty slowly and doesn't like to buy any farming items.
Lycan's probably like C tier at best, I think.
I have not seen a wraith king win a single game in any of my pubs lol (Divine to Immortal). He just feels like a slow farming, squishy hero with no teamfight ability that can't do anything unless the game goes 60 minutes.

@@Rasea611 Lycan actually doesnt farm slow at all, his damage is just insane and his innate helps a lot, been winning a lot with him
