justin bouche with that amount of camber giving such added stress to ball joints wheel bearings and drive shafts and the rest i would not want to be driving much more than 100kph at most in that on top of just the fact like you say there is next to no rubber touching the road any more brilliant on a tight german ausfahrt

If you want to know the quickest way to ruin an STi, just do everything that the guy in this video did. Heavy rims + stance = FAiL.

Looking through the comments I don't think I found a single person who actually liked this. Although it's not my personal preference, I'll say great job on your car. Looks cool and unique. How does that air suspension ride?
"Follow todd on ig to follow his build" Didn't realize adding bags, heavier rims, and camber, was a "build" nowadays. To me a build is someone making there car for performance, not someone removing performance.
Cars don't always have to be about performance. (And it's on bags, it's not like they're rolling completely dumped all the time.) People get mad about the stance scene, and I get it, but to say it's wrong or talent-less is just silly. Understanding aesthetics takes just as much skill as building an engine-- or more likely, paying someone else to do it.... At the end of the day, it's their car (not yours) and they put in just as much time/effort to make how THEY wanted it. Take it at face value and appreciate the fact that this guy put in the work and got exactly what he wanted in a car. Isn't that what it's all about anyways?

Hey sengthor84 or whatever your name was. My 14 WRX with bolt ons e-85 tune make 294whp and 343tq. Turbo back, intake, boost control, fuel pump, injectors.
Yes I'd beat stock, but an STI with the same mods wouldn't be much better. The slightly larger turbo would have the advantage, obviously but who wouldn't replace that anyways. Tit for tat, they are basically the same engine, with very slight differences. So if you ran the same turbo, tmic, exhaust, intake, ect. You're going to be making similar power.
Honda guy gone Subaru. Have to agree you paid close to $40k for a car to turn into a Common civic. High 5 on the upgraded lighting, definately expensive to do and goes unnoticed. I'm running 18x9.5 Work Emotions and at stock height currently my wheels look big. The bags are killing it for me.
I don't mind the camber and the bags, but seriously the wheels look too Honda Civic stance for me, I would've gone for like a deep dish set of vossens or something like that

snowfreak551 exactly. This person ruined a perfectly good street legal rally car. Try to take it off road with bags and see how long it lasts. Those bags would pop so fast. Stick to civic si's and corollas if you really have to have a stances car. Leave all the other good performance cars to us track guys. Stop ruining great cars with shitty low ass suspension that kills the struts, joints, bushings, and everything underneath. We are tired of buying used cars and having to redo the entire underneath because you like "stance".

Serenity in silence Not your car, stop bitching. Not everyone buys a STI to rally it. Actually barely anyone does. Why would it matter if the struts are destroyed if they are aftermarket anyway? You could just swap something else in since you seem not to care for bags. What does redoing the entire underneath even mean? It seems like you are trying to find some bullshit excuses to rag on this guy's car. My car is lowered and the only "damage" are some scratches on the cat and the plastic guard underneath the engine. Either way, I highly doubt the underside of this car is damaged, it is on bags, he can set any height he wants to clear an obstacle.
The Pooch the underside as in oil pan, all the suspension parts, bent exhaust pipes, scratched or dented gas tanks. You can keep ruining your car. I'll keep mine at a functional height. Sucks to be you hahahaha.

Is it just me or do other people get annoyed like crazy when they see other people's car's camber angle on their coilovers are set at negative when driving on normal roadways and not on the track? Serious, straighten out that crap when leaving the track...;) However, I do have interest in-an-all in one coilover/performance airbag set up that also has settings for adjusting the camber angle AT THE TRACK when I want to switch it? What package was that?

What is "every mod"? He's running a bag over coil setup which means that it functions as a coilover but has the flexibility of air. That's all he's done (in this vid at least)

+Zakary Win sorry, that's fucking heavy. 5 extra pounds per wheel equates to 20 extra pounds of rolling mass, which reduces performance. It decreases acceleration and increase stopping distance.

I just don't know how I feel about the wheels and ride height?? It's almost as if you still have a Honda Tuner mentality? Your car is so damn superior to the older tiny import racers, but you dress it up like an older tiny import racer. Don't like the camber/caster look on the Sti. It's a performance monster. Why cripple that? Less tire sitting flat on the ground means less traction gripping the road. The Sti is such an incredible car! ....but don't mess with the performance.

Now, i'm not a fan of Stance as it may be, but i belive everyone needs to stfu and leave people to do whatever they want to do with their cars. If you don't agree with anyone's mods that's fine, just simply move on. People have different reasons for doing whatever they do and that creates diversity. You cannot police peoples' style of modding. Some are good, some are shit...but that's entirely up to the car owner. This makes him happy and i believe that's the essence of modding...your mods are an extension and a reflection of your personal tastes. Otherwise everyone would be driving a blue subaru with gold rims ONLY, if we're to be purist Nazis about it.
