I'm a fan of Grangers and Flacos until the colt is available. You can't beat em for the revolver style play. Schofield is cool early game until you have to fight 3+ enemies and realize you made a bad decision. Lol

I made all my guns black and gold, unlocked every gun, I have found and use all of the cheat codes for infinite ammo, infinite deadeye, and much more. I also have found every hidden hat, and weapon there is. Game is crazy. Every gun can be as powerful as each other with the right tuning and ammo.
I prefer the ol' Model 1887 (repeating shotgun) over the pump action, especially when combined with the Lancaster repeater and dual Cattlemans or Double Actions. Gotta go full cowboy
Depending on who or what I'm hunting I'll use various setups, rolling block and varmint for trader roles, Evans and pump for wagon mission or bounty hunting, and the Lancaster with explo rounds and the pump for players
Bro, I have this EXACT loadout in RDR2, I like the m1899's for the fast reloads and modernisation, the pump for those intimate encounters, and the landcaster for long range and ammo.
Side note in real life the volcanic pistol shot a super weak round and never really caught on.. but actually paved the way for repeaters like the litchfield (Henry rifle) and then from that to Lancaster (Winchester 1866)
The schofield revolver is my favorite handgun. Quick reload and good damage makes up for 6 rounds (in the early game too without much progression if you get it from the valentine doctor)

i like the duel cattlemans just for style. Long barrel, silver body with gold hammer, trigger and sights, gold baroque engravings and the hero handle and suddenly its beatiful. not bad stats either if you use express.

I played rdr like from 2017 to 2020 i litteraly get chills whenever i see the mcfarlane ranch and especially armadillo bc it was my favourite town. And i have a week since i started rdr2 i cried ngl like when you know the things that happened in the first part. The detectives obliged marston to kill dutch and then lied about the freedom😢

Not a long range sniper of course, but including some throwing knives and explosives, I felt ready for every situation. Later on I switched my schofield and shotgun for two LeMat revolvers, a little less damage and range for more shots and functionality seemed like a good deal to me as I often found myself in close quarter fights

Springfield Rifle is what I use as well. I use split point rounds with the Springfield and it does really well for gunfights without using deadeye.

Those are exactly the weapons I use, plus Schofield revolver. I attached a scope to the Lancaster, turning it into a presicion rifle. Great combo.
