I grew up an army brat, we were taught respect for all armed service men and women. Visited horseguards since the early 60s. The amount of entitled thinking tourists is beyond disrespect. They wouldn't dare do this to their own countries soldiers. Absolutely disgraceful.
I am an old women, 75 years old and I visit in my life different country, but allways I was interested on the cultur, the tradition and the history of the country I go. For me it was importent to be a traveller, not a Tourist. This people are all Tourist, they would touch everything, they run around, they don't know where they are or what they see. I don't belive they know it's realy solders. They don't respect anything.
why do people think it's okay to disrespect the guard I don't think parents are doing a good job raising their children, having said that don't know about the adults
The gatesman is amazing and will be great on a horse one day shouting at the tourists if they dare touch the horse. He's a riding instructor from the sign on his sleeve. 🩷 I hate it when some disrespectful tourists laugh after he shouts make way! 😠
Absolutely I would like to see the who is boss do this again tourst and find out do not mess with the gaurd i think he is great keep up the good work kind regards Philip
The tourons are amazed and astounded, that what they think is an actor or wax figure, actually walks, shouts and does paces, after being mocked, photographed or stands doing his job.
He was definitely getting sick of getting his picture taken that hour. I don't think I have ever seen any of them stomp and walk like that either in a while or not like that.
This gatesman is under a lot of stress , you can tell by the way he is walking and stomping his feet and the facial expression is so strained. Poor baby . He needs a strong coffee and a hug
Does anyone know what ever became of that lady who would pet the horse for at least 5 minutes and no one else could walk up to take their picture? She would walk from one horse to the other. I wonder what happened to her. I know that other weird lady who used to do almost the same thing but began to let people know when they could come up to pet the horse. I'm sure she was asked not to ever come back.
@@daneden9640 and what about that other lady with a scarf around her head she was always sassing back to the guards. I think she was like from Israel or something like that because there was two of them there was a black young lady and then the old lady with a scarf around her head I was just wondering what happened to both of them.
Great shout. It tells people you mean what you say Always pleased to see the guard with the brilliant smile
Nothing ever stops smiley guard 😊 always so happy. That gatesman is fantastic 👏
He is great so are the lady guards.👍👏

Make way for the kings guard ,, rightly so. you noticed he woke a few people up from they're zombie sleep.

The horse are absolutely beautiful , magnificent.

Well said
he takes his duty seriously
"New guard" : BRAVO!!! Lovely that UK keeps this, and so many more, traditions!!! But why have that tourist stand in the courtyard :((
why do people think it's okay to disrespect the guard I don't think parents are doing a good job raising their children, having said that don't know about the adults
Because the majority of the children are ruling the parents today and they can't tell them what to do
Also most of them disrespect their parents so how do you expect them to respect others when they disrespect their own parents
Aah they should give that old gentleman a chair to sit on ,he always keeps an eye anyone going in to the arches😊

Very confident guard✌️
I,could almost hear the thoughts of the guard. Why should he have to put up with scruffy ,layabouts ,taking the P,day after day ?
The idiocy scale is higher on some days, more than others.
Sure the so called new guard is a guy who has been there for ages. The boxman is indeed the happiest guy there at horse guards. He truly loves his job
Those 2 police officers just stand around talking, the lady officer does all the work
Absolutely I would like to see the who is boss do this again tourst and find out do not mess with the gaurd i think he is great keep up the good work kind regards Philip

The gatesman is not new , he's wearing the Coronation medal and has a Riding Instructor badge , a spur on his right arm .
Thank you for that Kath. He has a commanding voice, walk, stance and personifies professionalism.
I find the world in general is disrespectful.

I heard "make way" but not "don't you dare".
5:55 13:26 The other guards should be like him

Yes, they banned her from coming back! She was rude and disrespectful to the guards and horseguards! I think it is for one year!

Disrespect is a noun
Whoa, guard must have something big bothering him.
Is thatmguard small or is that a very big 🐎(on the right of our screens)
In fact that applies to both of them
not one thing has changed.. still disrespect
