Yes, they are! Thank you, Christie! My super easy and fast look is a cat eye liner (the waterproof e.l.f. type is my favorite!) and mascara, plus that red (or whatever bold color you want) lip.
Thank you....such well thought out and good information which I am enjoying AND truly learning from, I am a 65 year old woman who never cared much about fashion as it pertained to myself because I was grossly overweight but after dropping 317 pounds I have an interest. I don't even know the basic concepts of how to put things together but WANT to because I'm now SMALL and everything catches my eye I bought my first pair of white pants ( size 8 petite) --- of which I've not worn in over 50 years ......LOVING THEM and the freshness it's brought to my appearance. I really enjoy your videos and the sweet manner in which you convey your info and tips. You are so young and beautiful and I'm sure much of your following is also but it might be nice/ interesting if you could devote a segment to the mature ladies out here and impart something that might be helpful to out particular problems & interests. While I am excited to be considering & trying new looks , I at the same time don't want to look silly , I feel a little guarded ( self conscious) and need to be careful to dress age appropriately, as nothing looks much worse in my opinion than an older lady attempting to pull off a too youthful look. THANKS for all your good advice and I am happily going to remain one of your followers 😊
Awesome as always. It's incredible how something as simple can make me look out together and how much it helps to feel more put together when one is at the end of the rope. Cheers!
Great idea from Anna Rehbinder... Also, I have several dresses that have come with those matching belts. Here's yet more ideas for those fabric belts: use as hat bands, hair ties (around a bun, braided into your hair, etc.) and to tie to checked-in luggage for easy ID'ing. 😊
I love all your tips! I’ve noticed when I shop whether online or in the store, its like I have all your tips in my head. Thus making better choices. Thanks Christie you are very good at what you do. Xoxo, Angie💕
I loved these tips. I am always trying to look stylish but so often, I miss he little details. This helped a lot and whereas I would rarely wear a scarf around my neck, I like the idea of using one as a belt or attaching it to my bag for interest. Thank you for these tips.
Great tips!!! I feel like your suggestions are so accessible to women such as myself, I used to feel scared of even trying to look chic!!! But you've helped me realize that I can do it and I feel so much better about myself and my clothes.
I have a question or video idea. I love wearing heels but I can't anymore since I developed plantar fasciitis in both feet. Can you recommend some stylish shoes to wear ? I hate wearing athletic shoes and clogs but I need comfort. Maybe a certain brand that caters to comfort and style. Thanks . I love your videos and accent
Mally Flower - check out The Walking Company. They have very comfortable shoes and some are very stylish. I have foot problems as well and get most of my shoes there.
I've had good luck with Aerosoles in the recent past - I've never been good in heels but sometimes ballet flats don't quite look right with more formal work outfits. I now look for flats with a pointed toe, bonus if it's in a bold colour or has an interesting texture. They still look polished and with long trousers you can barely tell they're not heels - plus they're so much more comfortable!
Very well done video, good easy tips anyone can add to their wardrobe if you don't like using a belt around a dress you can also use a scarf in a matching or contrasting colour always buy good quality fabrics and take out stains as soon as possible or they will set and be impossible to remove and you have lost that piece of clothing repair anything that needs to be resewn as soon as possible or when you go to wear it again it will be unwearable all wardrobes need maintaince everything should be fresh and ready to wear
Thanks for this video! I notice that women my age ( mid 50's) look clownish with the bold lip. Is this because they may not have the right color for their complexion, or should the mature woman save the bold color for evening?
This was FABULOUS! I already do some of these but some I never thought of 😉 I especially love the scarf ideas:) Thank you for the beautiful and fun ideas🥰 Happy weekend 💖 Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
You are so beautiful and radiant and always have the best tips!. Not to knock other fashion RUclipsrs but sometimes they can come off as shallow or a bit annoying after listening to for a long time but you are completely different! I probably have watched all of your videos more than once. Love them all! (No offense to the other RUclipsrs out there!)
It's very cool how much attention you pay to your video background. It goes beyond symmetry. I like your attention to detail with color. Everything in the background is a dark and light neutral so you pop in the foreground with your pink and red floral top and pink lips. Then you go beyond that with the two vases in the background filled with matching flowers which not only adds subtle interest to the shot but doesn't compete with you because only the foreground is in sharp focus. There are even gold colored items on the table to go with your hair. Well done!
My easy dressing routine is what I call "Garanimals for Grownups": either solid colors or multiple colors/prints clothing, shoes and accessories (yes to scarves!) to coordinate so effortlessly. 😁
As a more mature woman (72) I love these suggestions. It would be so neat if you could do this showing the differences between looking like you are dressing like your daughter instead of for yourself. Does this make sense?
Great tips! Hope the house is coming along. Lots to do, I'm sure of it. I am ready for some new music in the background of your videos lol. There are lots of free music, copyright free online. Just a small suggestion.
Hi Christie, I've seen you wear that floral blazer (3:46) before and i love it!! Please please please share, if not where you found it, at least the brand? You look gorgeous as always! Thanks for your videos and style tips.
I have used the fabric belt as a headband Lol! (What do you think of that?) I have a small face, so giant sunnies look unnatural. Any hints on finding the right pair for face shape?
Hi Christie, for the Tuck Your Shirt Tip, what’s the best way to wear your shirt when you have a little tummy (I’ve had 4 c-sections)? I tend to want to camouflage by wearing my shirt out to cover up because the look doesn’t look the same like a flatter tummy. Thanks :)!
Hi Christie, ok, here is a fabric belt question. I am an apple and just made a wrap dress for myself so it will fit beautifully even though my waist is bigger than my bust. It ties inside and has a slide clip on the outside and has a fabric belt to make a bow to reflect the ruffle around the neck (very feminine). What other kind of belt would be used on a dress like this? Also, is it ok to take off those ties on the side of dresses that are supposed to tie in the back, could I secure them otherwise? Always love your suggestions. Maren
As a tall girl where is the best place to buy blazers that fit I have a bunch of Ralph Lauren’s but they come up to most my upper hip and they look weird when I put them out I don’t know where to find those really long ones for 5’10” frame
Christie, I have one problem with clothing and it is that it often happens to me that I get dressed and maybe even feel good about my look, and then I see a woman wearing the same piece (or even the whole dress) and it drives me crazy and reduces my confidence. How can I buy clothes and be unique and not look the same as somebody else?
Link to those sun glasses or a dupe? I remove belts all the time, with a long torso they’re usually not in the right place and honestly, with my stomach, it just draws attention to where I don’t want it! Thanks for the video!
Do you know some way of cuffing super soft fabric shirts and blouses? Silks, charmeuse, etc? I cannot get cuffing to stay IN on such shirts. I read some stylist somewhere SAY to use a scrunchie or something like that, but have never seen it demonstrated...I LOVE that look and it drives me batty to have the whole rolled sleeve just constantly DROOP...so that I have to fidget...grrr!
I love the look of the “front tuck”, but I never see women over age 50 embracing that style. Do you think that look is mainly for a younger generation?
Can we outlaw leggings when worn with short tops. Oh and also beautiful structure bags with athletic attire. They both look sloppy and like you just don't care. how you look. Just my opinion. 😁
I love how incredibly simple all of these tips are!! No money spent, no extra time, but such an impact - thank you!
My pleasure! So happy you enjoyed them!
Same...really simple but helpful..love them.

I can watch you all day. You look stunning and sophisticated.
Tip save the cloth belts since they give you extra fabric to use to mend !
you can also add them to your handbag with that outfit!
I have always felt that way about sunglasses. Always makes me feel like I look so much more glamorous! Love these tips.
I love all these tips, especially the bold lip. It really is amazing how much a red lip changes your whole look.
I don’t joke with statement sunglasses 🕶 such a vibe! Bold lip is the bomb , enjoyed watching
i love every single one of your videos! you help me so much and help me feel so confident in my outfit choices!! thank you😘😘😘
Yay! I'm so happy to hear that! xo

Christie, I would so like to see a brown/beige colour wardrobe.
Sealing belts is a great idea! New idea to me.... please do more of these videos!!!
I like the belt tip! I always use those fabric belts but now I’m going to try something new

I LOVE your videos! The tips are so helpful. Thank you so much!
Great Tips 😊 Please can you Do a Video about how to dress "Plus Size" Woman with more Belly?! Tuck Shirts, Belt for Oversize?
Congratulations on your new home. I’d love to see how your home comes along.

Yes, I can definitely create that!

I would love to know a nice perfume for summer any tips to dress a few tops
@Michelle Giblin Pacifica has great summer scents and healthier ingredients. They are at Earth Fare, Target, and Amazon
Where can I find those sunglasses???
Where have you been all my life?
Do you have any advice or videos about jeans? I haven't been able to find the perfect denim in years!
I have a video about that, yes! Just search it on my channel. xo
@@ChristieRessel thanks!
Where are your silver Oxfords from?
Well, i've put a like and saved it for later cuz i'm running out nw, i'll watch it later ..... #Notificationsquad

Pat McGrath's "Obsessed" red matte lipstick.

I'm an apple shape, I've never tucked in my tops..can I still try it?
@Jilly T -- great question, she did a video about body shapes, you should watch it.
👍
I have skinny legs, does anyone know where I can buy jeans and leggings that will be tight and fitted on me? Even skinny jeans look baggy!
What about shoulder pads to even out small shoulders to big hips. Is this tacky now days?

Janet Meyers I’m 66 and sometimes wear it. Depends on the look you’re going for. I wouldn’t put an age limit on it 😊.
Anne-Marie Landry I think you’re right-going for it! Thank you.👍
I think it looks sloppy. Looks like you tucked in your shirt, sat down and the back came out of your pants. Tuck or don't tuck
"I think that s an easy way to up your eutfit.."
Can we outlaw leggings when worn with short tops. Oh and also beautiful structure bags with athletic attire. They both look sloppy and like you just don't care. how you look. Just my opinion. 😁
I’m with you!
