- Check out a new piece of gear I acquired! This is the Spiderco Tenacious, stainless steel, budget friendly folding knife! Took this bad boy out and successfully made a fire in TERRIBLE conditions. Sharp, good grind, sturdy and scrapes a ferro rod great!
I will compare it in a future video with the Ontario Rat 1. But both are going to be in future videos as I hike, fish, and explore!

I did see a guy get his tinder- or in this case, the birch bark- which was wet from snow. He unzipped his jacket and shoved the tinder under his shirt and up near his arm pit. It warmed it up and dried it off. I wonder if that would work with the birch bark?
That would probably work, the body heat would probably dry it pretty quick
