@@Skyfall-sv8df sorry but i used all my knives. that includes Esee, Busse, various custom, Lionsteel, Boker, protech, microtech...all are used. I was notice yours are not
E6 is a reallyl good beater. Its not the best at anything but can do most things and if you break it, it has a good warranty and if you lose it, its not a heart breaker.
"A big knife can do what a small knife can. A small knife can't do what a big knife can." It goes something like that (of course with some exceptions). Point being, if im only picking 1 of those 2 knives, forever, im definitely with the E6 over E4, easily.
I have the izula currently and I had the short kabar, but I was looking to upgrade from the kabar and I went with the 6. But I will still have the izula on my vest as like a last resort easy grab fight knife, and for smaller tasks.
New sub here.. just came across you… I hung out in Cali for 30yrs.. I’m back in Upstate NY.. curious where you’re from…? My longest spot was Redding for 18.. I like your stuff I think… I’m a big Esse fan boy as I have a couple sixes.. Junglas II on the way..! It’s gonna be a 3knife package.. all 3 in the Winter Forest. The 3rd being the Izula II. Anyway nice to meet ya..!👊
I have a Mora Bushcraft Carbon Steel and love it. I'm looking for a bigger blade to process larger pieces of wood. I came across the Eese 6 and found 2 things that need improvement on the Eese 6 as a Bushcraft. 1. It needs a 90degree spine out the box. 2. It needs to have a rust inhibitor or make a stainless steel version. Stripping the powder coat paint is an options but having a smoother blade helps with processing wood.
My Esee 6 isn't a former roommate. Hes the Guy on the Couch. I'm not exactly sure why I keep him around and let him stay, but he's def not going anywhere anytime soon. He's cool..
Freak people out with an esee 6? Lol. I edc a busse team gemini light brigade. And ive never had anyone even bat an eye. However i was once edcing a ontario marine raider bowie. And had a lady tell me that it was illegal to carry it. And said she was going to call the cops on me. To which i showed her canadas knife laws on my phone and told her she could call the cops and id stay to talk to them and she declined my offer lol.
Wouldn’t pick the esee 4 if I could only have 50 knives. Blocky uncomfortable scales, horrible waste of blade choil, way over priced for 1095. Nice sheath though. I have one and hate it. The 6 looks much better imo
If you don't like the 4, for those reasons...it doesn't sound like you'll like the 6 either. I love my 6, but the 6 is just a longer 4, with more handle, soo...🤷🏼♂️
I chose the 6 over the 4 (before they offered 3D contoured scales or the choil-less "HM" models). I think the 6 is actually slightly thinner stock than the 4 but either way, with the longer taper and the wider blade, it seems to come down to a thinner edge. I do like the way the 4HM looks but still has the problem of the excessively thick stock for such a short blade. The 6 is a great knife to take into the woods and can handle light chopping and abuse if needed.
The Six is one of my favourites, good review mate 👍🏻
Need info on where to get that pouch for the sheath. 👍🏻👍🏻
Both knives look unused.
I was about to say the same thing. Neither of those knives have cut anything but paper
that's why they will go to brothers, fathers, grandfathers, cousins, daughters, moms, mom's cousins...
@@andreaburroni2213Im just glad you "review" knives you dont use. I find that very "useful".

@andreaburroni2213 I only own butter knives, but they are well used.
I've said this for awhile - this knife in 3V with a sharpened spine would be one of the best 6" knives on the market
Architect AK 6.5 is very similar to this but with a little different blade geometry. They offer it in 3V.

It's one bad ass knife. 👍

Have you checked out the esse laser strike
One of the best survival/bushcraft knives you can buy !!
"But still better than a master of one", was the rest of that saying on your cover pic...
Spaceball One... They've gone to plaid!
Love that movie! Not sure anyone else got that one😂
Aarrgghhhh. I wanted to see in the green pouch. Would’ve liked a link to the pouch and leather attachments.
L.T. Wright Sheath and leather attached
LOVE the scales. Where did you get them?
The title roped me in. Stayed for the blade. Awesome work man.

The knife connection makes what is in essence, a 3V ESEE 6. They call it the Architect 6.5
Keep mineral oil on it and call it a day

Strip the coating, put a good patina on it or polish the blade. Problem solved

Space Balls!!
Where can I find that pouch without the kydex?
Good question. In case you can't find It by itself, most army surplus stores carry shoulder straps that look similar for a few dollars

Nice. Hopefully you're one of the true Canadians that held your own and didn't cave to COVID mandates
@JohnLocke1776 no sir and still haven't got a jab. I'm honestly embarrassed to admit I'm canadian now. It's unfortunate.
Jack of all trades is better than master of one. Thanks for the video
I hope you have actually used your Esse knives by now .
He really don't know what to say Next..he dont know much about this Knife
Great all rounder, and attractive proportions too 😀👍
important fact is not to be used.
