I can’t wait for my one day future purchase of an Aprilia RS 660. You probably remember me from past comments. Remember... trying to get the wifey on board with it.That’s my baby and I can’t wait for her to show up.
I got a hold of my neighbor next-door which has two bikes a GSR 750 for the track and a ZX10 for the street. He was going on a ride with three other buddies and meeting up at Café 27 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. That’s where Most bikers make a stop during their runs on Sunday. He invited me to go out and check it out. I took my son with me thought it would be pretty cool hoping that there would be more than 10 bikes but I would take whatever I could see. I wanted to share the experience with my son.
To my amazement there were 75-100 different bikes.
While I was in route my buddy texted me and said, guess what!! your “2021” Aprilia RS660 model is here now. You could not imagine the excitement I had to see someone else’s bike. Lol. Might sound stupid but I got excited anyway because the anticipation of one day hopefully owning one. When I got there I had a great time talking to the owner and was able to hear what it sounded like in person, pretty quiet bike so muffler definitely will have to be installed on it. Probably going to go with the SC Project exhaust. He seem pretty impressed that I knew so much about the bike possibly just as much if not more than he did. informing him of all the benefits and safety features on that bike. Either way it was cool just being next to it and seeing all of the other people out there with all different shapes and sizes different CC classes. I’m sure you would’ve loved it with you and your boys to pull up into that type of environment. It was like a brotherhood I liked it. Anyway enough rambling be safe bro talk soon

I’m having an issue .. short Ppl problems T. rex arms my clutch as most bikes lets out too far to the end of my fingers.. I’m really a gsxr girl but got a 21 Honda cbr 500r . Everyone advised me not to start on 600 gsxr . Now I have my bike and already lowered. It but completely regretting not getting bike I wanted. The clutch seems a lot shorter on gsxr and more fitting to my hand size. Have you ever rode another bike to be able to compare clutches?? Help me decide if I need to modify my clutch or just get the bike I really wanted anyway 😂
If you mean the clutch lever, there usually is a little nob even on stock bikes that you can turn and it will adjust to your finger length, I have shorty levers that basically do the same thing they move in and out to the right size for my hands.

They're hand protectors kind of like what they have for dirtbikes but they make them for sportbikes too

I got an 06 600, what ram mount do you have? I’m not sure if I want to do the stem mount or the one that’s on this bike
Mine is actually on the bike with that U type of clamp on the left handle bar it was kinda tricky to put it on because the clamp came off of my 08 zx6r but it works pretty well
