How come you say let the clutch slowly but when your changing gears form 2 to 3rd and so on your Doing it fast( your just press the clutch and release it quick)
When you're going fast and pull the clutch in to change gears, you don't need to let it out slowly. When you're first pulling out, if you dump the clutch and your giving too little throttle it will stall. If you are giving too much you will pop a wheelie
Thanks for the info Will be getting a 600 for my first bike here soon. And definitely as excited as I am and all the videos that I watch I'm also terrified😂
Definitely an adrenaline rush lol I still remember the first time I rode a bike. Be safe out there bro people can't drive lol
@@1Down5UpOfficial I totally get it I ride bicycles down here in Florida and every day I feel like I'm getting ready to be a cheeseburger on somebody's grill 😬 there's a lot of tech I've noticed too now on bikes. A lot of which I think can be good for new riders but then I also want to keep it simple too. I know there probably is no difference between the 600s as a first bike but I am at the moment leaning between the GSXR or the ZX6R... If you have an opinion let me know, it being my first bike I tend to keep those kind of things!
I've had a 2008 zx6r and currently a 2008 gsxr 600 both are great bikes IMO. Zx6rs tend to have more of an aggressive seating position than gsxrs, so gsxrs are probably more comfortable for newer riders since they sit a bit lower. At the end of the day they are both japanese bikes, so they are both reliable as long as they weren't beat up by the previous owner. It's more of a person preference at that point. If you buy a gsxr get ready for the gay jokes 💀😭
@@1Down5UpOfficial yeah Gixxer squids take it up the butt 😆 I get the stigma...I don't give a s*** thank you for your opinion and your help brother! I'll keep you posted on my journey and I'll keep watching yours!
Appreciate you bro 🙏 be safe out there
ima year late but I'm working on saving up to buy some kind of bike. I've ridden dirt bikes my whole life and i think its time for something bigger, thinking a Harley iron 883 for a start.they sound good they have power but not to much, and ive heard there super easy to ride
I rode a 600(not mine) for the first time after coming from a 125cc pit bike. It was fun but I never went near 25% throttle.
Yeah you get desensitized to the speed after a while at first it's intense. Before you know it going 80 is gonna feel like you're going 40 mph. No joke lol
Omg another video where they think a cop is after them 🙄💆🏽♂️
Tell me you haven't ridden a motorcycle without telling me you haven't ridden a motorcycle 😭💀💀😂😂😂🤓
I love snakes so much I really want one😭😭😭
Definitely awesome pets to have
what happened to your zx6r? and which do you like better? gsxr or zx?
The motor blew because the previous owner rebuilt the engine and never told me. I actually really like both of them. But they are both 2008 bikes and I love the way the gsxr looks compared to the zx
So you didn’t have to remove the left front fairing to get at the oil filter ?
No I don't remove any fairings when I do my oil changes
Ok thanks I will try with out on my 2021 gear 600
@@1Down5UpOfficialso got do you take it off then?
It depends on your bike, you're supposed to take it off, but on a 2008 gsxr 600 I can just take a pin out from underneath and separate the fairings to get the oil filter out.
@@1Down5UpOfficial i just completed the oil and filter change on my 2021 GSXR 600 and although i did not completely remove the fairing I had to pretty much undo all pins except for one of them.
Cool😊
Is the permit for a motorcycle different from a regular learners permit for driving a car, because on the nebraska dmv website I can’t find a separate page for a motorcycle permit
For us in PA it's the same The only difference is with a car, you would have an adult with you, but on a bike you learn on your own
What about Texas I heard u don’t need a permit
My first bike was a WR400F for offroad tailriding. My first street bike 20 years later is Ducati SFV4s and i was not ready, though rider modes tame it a lot!
Yeah that thing is no joke, that's funny I was just looking up the msrp for that bike last night lol
Subscribed. Great video bro u explained it well for a mf who never rode. I know how but defiantly good video not many like this. Bouta grab my first bike real soon here
Thank you bro, surprise yes this is still helping ppl 8 months later🤣
🙏🙏🙏
😂😂
cool video. Im hoping to get a ninja 600/650 maybe zx6r soon to get into riding and the sport itself. this video assisted that decision! Peace!🙏
Nice bro, be safe 🤙
Im 19 Bought one yesterday never rode 2 wheelers in my life my boy taught me how to ride, with in 20 minutes I was on the streets today I hoped on the highway
Be safe out there bro, congrats on the new bike 🤙
Looks like a Victory.
Vulcan?
Buying a 2020 gszr 600 Monday for my first bike, driving it home 7 hours. What rpm’s are good to sit at while cruising 65/70? Also going to be my first time on the interstate 😭I have no license but learned how to ride on my buddy’s 300cc and only been on the road 6 times at night an tips?
My first time on my 600 I stayed in 1st gear most of the time and it ended up overheating lol DON'T do what I did. Not sure I don't really look at my rpms anymore lol but probably 5k rpms in 6th gear. You'll eventually learn what rpms you're ok at with each mph. Always be a defensive rider and assume other drivers don't see you. Stay away from semi trucks and speed past them because they create like a vacuum and you don't want to get sucked under. Go at your own speed and take breaks. Riding that long is gonna suck lol. Be safe out there bro 🙏🤙 Congrats on your new bike!
@@1Down5UpOfficial thank you, I’m flying from Omaha Nebraska to Chicago and driving back on 1-80 the whole way. I’m probably just going to cruise 75-80 and thank you for the semi truck tip, I know I’m going to be surrounded by them at some point. I assume im going to be cramping so I’ll probably take some breaks when I get gas lol.
@drakewill7605 That's a long ride, yeah as long as you take breaks and get off the bike for a few minutes, you'll be good to go for the next few hours. Be safe out there bro, people suck at driving fr lol
💯🔥👏🏿👏🏿😎🫡
does it get annoying not having abs or traction control or a fuel guage?
" Front brake is your friend , but don't make it your BEST FRIEND " 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 u killed me i almost wet my jeans hahahaha
😂😂😭
Any luck? Mine just started doing this besides the valve noise lol but the bogging for sure i cant figure it out
Nah I did alot to it, the motor blew a few days after this videos when I was riding. It was a rebuilt motor from the previous owner and he never told me about it. I have a gsxr now
You sped around on a double yellow, then stopped in the middle of the road. Youre the problem,
Wrong I stopped at a stopsign. You're just slow 💀
3:10
I just jumped on a bike and went for it back in the day.Luckily it had a fraction of the power of modern bikes !
Hey brother, quick question, where did you get that side long 'Bar' protector? looks great
It actually came with the bike, but I believe if you look up race rails, you should find them for your specific bike.
grabd my self one SUZUKI GSXR 600 CC second hand has 10 k km on it its insane do thanks for the tips bro :}
No problem bro, be safe out there 🤙
Yeah...😂😂😂
But is MSF required
No it's not required, you can just take a normal riding test with your own bike like when you get your car license. MSF is a great option though, they teach you alot.
how about downshifting ?
Just pull the clutch and click your gears down when you come to a stop.
The Supra tho
😅😅 to true
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
?
????????
😂😂
Great video brotha!
Thank you 🙏
Can bikers do that?
A rev got to be the most cringe thing to do like wtf is that supposed to do💀
Just like when you bozos honk thinking it's gonna faze us 💀
R6 is best bike ever.
Cool opinion bro.
This guy is the worst
lol this biker is the worst
Why do Americans think a 600 is a big deal? In the UK it's the minimum required for a full licence. Anything smaller is a kid's bike.
I mean I get my man was driving slow but you did pass on a double yellow...
Looks pretty simple. Thanks bro
Im literally about to buy this exact bike for my first one hopefully on the 29th of this month 😅
people get so angry being passed yet are oblivious to their dog shit driving abilities to understand why.
