just bought my first bike last sunday (Cbr600rr) no riding experience and been riding it on the streets perfectly fine definitely take it slow and dont let the power scare you
Yup ride safe out there bro 👌
update?
I'm starting on a cbr600. Fell in love with the bike I'm buying
No Not on a 1000cc. But I swear i wish I started on something bigger cause now I’m out here looking for a new bike, I could’ve learned everything I know now on a 600. And saved $$$…
That's exactly why I'm starting out on a 600. I'm getting one hell of a deal, seen the bike heart it reved it etc. Love it. Got me hooked the dày I seen it. Ik what I'm getting into I've watched videos, grandpa told some experiences with me, and a ton of tips for starting on a 600. Plus I'm willing to take the time it needs to practice
@@CivMicheals cool good luck and ride safe bro!
@@Rickyclark always... Just waiting on the funds, I already got my gear picked n everything. I'm mentally and physically ready
Should make a vid on what to look for when buying a bike (600) or any in general, since some of us might be trying to buy our first 600 and don’t want to get scammed ! Love the vid tho !
Thanks bro thanks for the video Idea I'll talk about that soon 👌
Started on a 750 and then 1k. Just can't go ham on the throttle and that's where people seem to fail. Never drove a 600. Maybe I will get one for track days. To each their own.
You'll definitely have fun on the track with a 600 👌 ride safe out there bro
Got a 05 gsxr 600 (1st bike) and it feels perfect for me right now...did all my foolishness is cars lol
Definitely want to review and ride one of those I was looking for one as my second bike and I couldn't find one lol they're pretty popular
I got a K5 gsxr as my first bike too last week. No issues and that hoe moves
grabd my self one SUZUKI GSXR 600 CC second hand has 10 k km on it its insane do thanks for the tips bro :}
No problem bro, be safe out there 🤙
Just bought a 2008 gsxr 600 jumping from a 22 grom
Be safe out there bro 👌
12:50 my guy over here starting on a liter bike, with no helmet or gear lmao.
There are different style of riding we know. So my question to you is what is a good starter bike for someone traveling 70+ miles to and from everyday. Hint I like sports bikes!!!!
Well a ninja 400 top speed is 116.7 mph so that would be a really good starter bike especially if it's for commuting
Would it be good on the engine as well
@@tayshawnellis2521 Sure
Great video, thank you for your insight.
Your 💯% Right ✅️
I just picked up 98 SRAD as a starter 😂
If you can find a clean one those are pretty nice 👌
hey bro Just rode my gsxr 600 on the street for the first time, learning the bike etc. Quick question where'd you get that black cage for the frame, as a newbie I think I need that just in case the bike falls lol
These are super old and the previous owner had them installed already. If you look up race rails for your specific bike you should find a bunch. Ride safe man!
Take it a slow for sure.
I’m thinking of buying a 2003 gsxr with 132,000 miles
Just a heads up bro that's ALOT of miles lol might want to consider something with less miles
@11:02 are u uncomfortable ? I see u sit back off the handlebars quite a lot...? just wanted to know because I am in the market for a 600cc coming from a 300cc...
yes I will never understand people who ride without a helmet smh even eye protection from the face shield. its so necessary
@14:52 yeah that stop was hella smoove!
A 300cc is definitely more of an upright position so you definitely feel a more aggressive stance on a 600 but im a heavier guy so it puts a lot of pressure on my nervous and makes my hands fall asleep so I sit up a lot more to take pressure off.
@@1Down5UpOfficial ok. Thanks for the reply. Yeah my 300 is very comfortable but I desire more power and presence on the road. I might just go ahead buy it (the 600) and try it and if i don't like it I can always trade it back in for something smaller. I'm interested in 650s as well but I'm not a fan of the naked sport bikes aesthetics
Ninja 400 or 650 which should I get ??
Its up to you bro, personally they are definitely both great starter bikes a 400 is a better starter bike than a 650 though lol
I started on a 2018 ninja 650 2 months ago , rode it everyday unless it rained it wasn’t a bad starter bike at all I dropped it twice right on my street not gonna lie I was literally brand new to riding. The 650 isn’t crazy quick but take it easy on the throttle you’ll be ok . I sold that bike now have a 2013 Gsxr 600 & I love it
Ride safe out there bro! Yeah I still want to ride one to see how it feels personally
@@1Down5UpOfficial will do man both drops were actually coming up/out of my driveway as embarrassing as that sounds ha, haven’t dropped since tho
Yeah that's usually how it happens when your moving your slowest or tires aren't warm I've had a few close calls when the bike is barely moving but never actually drop them lol
Starting on a 600? Don't. Not a matter of maturity level or danger to yourself level as you can kill yourself on a 400 and someone reckless will... but developing nice skills and habits is easier on the smaller less aggressive bike. Then you can move up to a 600 and ride it well. Moto community also thinks a guy shredding on a 400 is way cooler than a guy with 3 inch chicken strips on a 1000 ;)
I started on a 600 4 years ago and I've never been in an accident once. Never even dropped a bike. It does depend on the level of maturity and understanding your OWN limits. But to each their own.
NO!
