Buying a 2005 GSXR-600 tomorrow and I was worried about it being my first bike, after watching your videos I’m a lot more relaxed about it, so thank you, you are amazing
@@ZeruShen I bought my first bike back in 2017, a 2001 gsxr 600 and I thought I was ready after practicing for 1 week. I panicked making a left turn into an intersection and hit the curb and did a 180-degree flip and dislocated my right collar bone. You're gonna eat shit so just get back up and ride.
I always wear black leathers & black riding gloves even @ 90 degrees , it’ll keep me safer than not having them it on. Draw back with black riding gloves on hot days ... leaves black dye on your hands :(
@@1Down5UpOfficial man it’s not as bad as it is down here in Miami... we got everyone from all different country’s with their own rules of driving ...smh... no one looks out for motorcycles it’s crazy!!!! Be safe bro...
Looking to buy a gsx600 for my first bike, would you recommend buying one now or in the spring time? Been watching all your videos, really teaching me my way around bikes 👍🏾
Thanks for the support bro! and it honestly depends. If you're planning on going to a dealership you'll find more bikes in the spring time, but if you're gonna buy used off of someone local to you, don't buy in the spring time, buy in the fall, bikes are wayyyy cheaper right before winter 👌 be safe out there
I think it's just not being in the safety of a car, being exposed to the elements that's a little unsettling at first. But once you ride it once or twice you get over the fear pretty quickly
Buying a 2020 gszr 600 Monday for my first bike, driving it home 7 hours. What rpm’s are good to sit at while cruising 65/70? Also going to be my first time on the interstate 😭I have no license but learned how to ride on my buddy’s 300cc and only been on the road 6 times at night an tips?
My first time on my 600 I stayed in 1st gear most of the time and it ended up overheating lol DON'T do what I did. Not sure I don't really look at my rpms anymore lol but probably 5k rpms in 6th gear. You'll eventually learn what rpms you're ok at with each mph. Always be a defensive rider and assume other drivers don't see you. Stay away from semi trucks and speed past them because they create like a vacuum and you don't want to get sucked under. Go at your own speed and take breaks. Riding that long is gonna suck lol. Be safe out there bro 🙏🤙 Congrats on your new bike!
@@1Down5UpOfficial thank you, I’m flying from Omaha Nebraska to Chicago and driving back on 1-80 the whole way. I’m probably just going to cruise 75-80 and thank you for the semi truck tip, I know I’m going to be surrounded by them at some point. I assume im going to be cramping so I’ll probably take some breaks when I get gas lol.
@drakewill7605 That's a long ride, yeah as long as you take breaks and get off the bike for a few minutes, you'll be good to go for the next few hours. Be safe out there bro, people suck at driving fr lol
Yeah, it's a shame you have to be on guard so much when you ride... Idiots are gonna do idiot things, you know? Whether they didn't actually see you, or they just don't particularly care. So long as you keep yourself safe and can roll away in one piece, you know what I mean? You just have to spot them before they do something to put your life at risk. Stay safe out there man, and don't forget the blinker!

😂 I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. You'll be good bro just always pay attention 💪 ride safe out there

cool video. Im hoping to get a ninja 600/650 maybe zx6r soon to get into riding and the sport itself. this video assisted that decision! Peace!🙏
Nice bro, be safe 🤙
Gotta be careful passing cars on the right side especially when it’s a turning lane scary stuff but stay safe brother
True definitely not a smart move, thanks bro 🙏

Good video bro Thanks did the infro
Why you didn't use any mode while riding.. Plz explain differences between using mode or without using mode
What are those bar end things for??. Nice vid
To protect your hands 👌 and thanks man!
idk why people would freak out first time on a highway on a sports bike it is legit the easiest place to ride it other than a track

Can't see your gauge cluster :/
Why do you need to see it? 😂💀
Well I'm 16 with a motorcycle endorsement , I almost got enough
Dam bro I hope you put the camara down and help will get up 😂😂😂😂😂😂
It happened so fast lol I had no time 😂😂
bro most of these 'near death experiences' in the video are not that serious man. you're just impatient
You would be too if your vehicle was literally created for a race track and not to go 25 mph behind slow people 💁♂️
@@1Down5UpOfficial nah i dont give a fuck lmao. its not that deep
