I make these in my meal prep on Sunday's and either store them in the frig or freeze them. Then I put them in my toaster before I make a sandwich....they really are quite good. :)
These are really delicious! I have a regular sized waffle maker so I realized I have to make one and one-half times your recipe to make one large waffle. I also added 1/8th teaspoon of dry instant yeast to the mixture to give it a bread flavor. I smoothed it out in the waffle Iron with the back of a spoon as I poured it in. They browned up very nicely and no eggy taste. I used the liquid egg whites that come in a carton and they worked just fine. After I made some I made a few more with a tsp vanilla and sweetener (Stevia) to taste and made some sweet chaffles to have with fruit and some stevia -sweetened whipped cream. They freeze great and toast up nice in the toaster oven. Next time I make some I’m going to try adding some poultry seasoning to make chicken and waffles Keto style. This recipe is definitely a keeper! Thanks!
This recipe was the first one that I tried AND I FIND NO NEED TO SEARCH FURTHER! THESE ARE THE BEST! I used them for waffles, burger buns, tuna salad or any other sandwich and they are so filling. Taste much like white bread. Refrigerate In a plastic bread bag, they will keep for a week and when returned to room temperature, they are a fresh as when they were made. I haven't tried freezing yet. Give em' a try!
@@annamarielewis7078, the waffle became a chaffle because of the substitution of cheese for the wheat. I guess, if it has chocolate in it you can still call it a chaffle, but really, anyone can call it whatever they like. Right?
SO good! I’m on keto & our daughter is gluten-free, so this recipe was a big help! Easy & really good! I plan to make up several batches to keep in the fridge & freezer. I felt kind of icky earlier, maybe from taking too many supplements, but since I couldn’t eat saltine crackers, my pre-keto remedy, I toasted a chaffle & put butter & salt on it. Thanks so much!
I'm so glad you made this video, I've been wanting to see someone I know to try out the CHAFFLE and see how they like it. I've seen so many recipes for all different kinds of these. I shared to FB & twitter (under my real name). That breakfast sandwich does look delish!
The best way I can describe the flavor of this recipe is that its kind of plain flavor like with regular white bread but because it is made with the almond flour it has a different texture. I think this is a great recipe/base to build off from. I believe it could easily be sweetened into a regular waffle by simply adding a little cinnamon and stevia. This recipe may not be everyone's cup of tea but when your have to follow a strict diet and watch your carb intake you really appreciate these type of recipes :)
thank you so much for sharing this recipe. sometimes i would like a cheesy chaffle, but if i want something simple and delicious for a sandwich...this is perfect! i think this is a great recipe to try.
They look awsome ... if you can find out fiber they make great dinner waffles for sandwiches replace the almond flour with the oat fiber ...those came out perfect thou
I've never tried just egg whites but you probably could. I'm not sure how it would affect the texture of the bread or if it may turn out dry. I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more help. If you give it a try let me know 🙂
I read off the original recipe that calls for 1 egg. Then I mention that I am doubling the ingredients for the recipe I made which basically was doubling the recipe. But if you feel nervous about it definitely find another recipe that you feel comfortable with.
No this is not a true chaffle but the name "chaffle" has become the most used name these days. Most everyone calls them chaffles whether there is cheese added or not. Thanks for watching!

Looks good. I like that there isn't cheese in it. Thanks. I've been Keto 3 successful years!!
That's great!
Technically it is no longer a chaffle if it doesn’t have any cheese. 🙃
@@lynnharrell9598 what if it has chocolate?

OMG!!! Thank u soooo much for this recipe... I only tweaked it a bit but it’s the closest thing ever to real bread that I’ve tried to make.
Wonderful! Feel free to post your tweaks!
I really like your accent and way of speaking. It reminds me of my dad's side of the family in North Georgia.
Thank you :)
I just found your great channel. The chaffle was awesome. New subscriber for sure. Also...you have such a nice comforting voice.
Thank you so much! And....I've been told that a lot lol
Doing keto + am gluten intolerant and this is great. Thank you 💕

Great video! Definitely trying them this way! I tried it once using monzarella chesse and honestly I didn’t care for it!

My pleasure 😊
These turned out really good! Thank you !
You are so welcome!
Well that looks delicious! 😋
It was!
Sweet voice and simple yet good recipe!
If they are too "eggy", use egg whites only, 3TBSP of egg white to replace one whole egg.
That CHAFFLE looks delicious!
Thank you! I made some again today. I put a little pizza sauce, mozarella cheese on top and put them under the broiler. Quick, easy pizza waffles :)
I tried to make it and looks amazing after I cooked it
Excellent...thank you! 👍🥞
Enjoy!
That looks so good!
In this video you used two eggs but in the recipe it calls for 1 egg. Which would be correct to use? Thanks!
I'm going to try cottage cheese instead of mayo or Eve Greek yogurt
I love your accent 🥺 Thanks for the recipe!
My pleasure 😊
Thank you dear and i added some leek cumin and poppyseed to the batter
Sounds great!
They look awsome ... if you can find out fiber they make great dinner waffles for sandwiches replace the almond flour with the oat fiber ...those came out perfect thou
Sherrie I have never heard of the oat fiber but I certainly will look into it. Thanks for the tip!
Sherri I have oat fiber. Please tell me your recipe
Looks delicious!
What is the mayo for???
It tastes better if you replace the Mayo with sour cream
Thanks for the info! Sour cream sounds great for this recipe.
Well done.
👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
Chaffle was with cheese this would be a braffle😂
Can I use the carton egg whites for a lower calorie version of these? Thanks

Dang that looks tasty
Dang right Robert :)
Does it taste eggy at all?
No, they are more like a bread without that eggy taste.
Just found you on RUclips. Hello, for in KY girl to another !
Hello there!
Great Vid
Thank you!
Need to add a bit of seasoning
I substituted egg white in place of egg. No eggy taste
Eggcellent! Thanks for your feedback!
Much better with lupin flour
I have never used or heard of lupin flour. Thanks for the tip!
She said 1 egg, and then added 2 in the video, so not sure If I trust this recipe ingredients.

Thank You!!!
Your welcome 😊
1 egg or 2?
1 egg if you half the recipe, 2 if doubling the recipe. The original recipe is in the description box above :)
Chaffle
Chaffle
It does look good. I just can't wrap my brain around keto

Ketoliciouslife has the best white bread chaffle, uses egg whites, I don’t like the eggy taste a yoke gives!
Thanks for the info!
Not a big fan. The taste is just horrible. I’ll keep trying other recipes
Sorry to hear that. Thanks for watching!
I precooked them, then popped them in the toaster. I made a toasted BLT. It was fabulous.
