      We know that the use of hormones in poultry, cattle, and dairy farming is causing acne, and gynecomastia in men (men experiencing excessive breast tissue development).
      It would be incredibly naive to think that the hormones people are excreting isn't somehow winding up in our environment or drinking water.
      We know that they treat water but do they remove all traces of pharmaceuticals or their byproducts from the water?

It's like telling people "if you want to smoke go ahead but beware of the negative long -term effect of it." We would never encourage people to smoke, so why should we encourage people to transition, especially knowing how harmful it is to the body. Above all, we need to respect the bodies that God gave us. The Bible says that God made us either a man or woman and knitted us in the womb, so God carefully constructed us. We are also called to present our bodies as holy and pleasing to God, which includes having good physical health. it really saddened me when the man from this video said “trans isn’t beautiful”
      i think it is. it’s not easy, that’s for sure. it’s not a super romantic experience either. but what else is more beautiful than going on a journey to find a home in your own body? to look at yourself in the mirror and smile, finally recognizing the person looking back at you. just, give your friend time. lend them an ear, and a hand. and love them for who they are.

      And let's be truthful here, anyone not knowing that he was trans and not seeing any surgery scars that would give it away would assume he was male. And at least for me that's one of the deciding factors of what I call someone. If they go through hormone treatment, surgery, etc. so that they actually appear as the gender they want to be, I respect that, know that they are absolutely serious about it, and therefore will give them the courtesy of calling/referring to them by their chosen gender. But when I see all those people on social media, demanding to be called x, y, z while looking clearly male or female, then I honestly feel that they just do it for likes and attention, which annoys me enough to not want to give into them.

    I just wanna say that when I was a kid I had very severe dysphoria mostly because I started puberty when I was nine years old and no one would tell me what the heck was happened to my body because they felt like it was an inappropriate thing to discuss with a nine year old. So I remember just crying myself to sleep almost every night because I was just so scared of what my body was turning into and I wish someone would have told me that it gets better, you may not want to get used to your adult body right now but it becomes less scary and you will most likely grow out of these feelings. I wish someone would have told me that and I wish that they would have told me exactly what was happening with my body, I needed an in depth biology lesson . Now I’m a firm believer that those conversations aren’t going to hurt children, they will comfort them and let them know that what they are experiencing is normal. As long as we teach sex from a biological perspective I don’t think it’s inappropriate for children above the age of about seven. All the details about sex from an emotional or social aspect would be inappropriate at that age. I think it’s a very cruel thing to teach children that sex is bad or evil or embarrassing. I think it’s really cruel expecially for Christian schools to tell kids that if they are gay they deserve to go hell. They’re brains aren’t mature enough to handle the emotional or social aspects of sex yet and I think that’s a huge part of the church’s corruption because they’re teaching kids about topics that they’re not mature enough to understand. What they understand is that if they’re gay or have premarital relations that they don’t deserve to see their family or their god ever again. They’re going to think that sex is a creepy religious ritual.

    • @umbrellathegreatdetective5423
      @umbrellathegreatdetective5423 Год назад

      I mean. There's grace for it, but ultimately, it IS true that ANY sin you live in without believing and having faith in Jesus for your righteousness will cause you to go to hell. Homosexuality and premarital sex are sins. I don't suggest hiding information about kids with puberty, that's just dumb. This generation and the few before it seem to idolize childhood so much that they won't just talk to their kids about "mature" topics when they need to(like when a kid has their period or first wet dream). But what exactly are we supposed to say about premarital sex and homosexuality? Christians can't encourage them, just like they can't encourage stealing or murder or false witness. You can't say it's fine to do them, because it's not. So what DO Christians say on the matter?
      But also, any Christian who explains homosexuality as "if you have sex with/lust after the same gender, you're going to hell" is absolutely moronic. Because ANY sin puts you on the fast track to hell. Homosexuality is not SPECIAL in that regard. The MAIN IDEA to Christianity isn't to avoid sin so you can get to heaven, but it's to TRUST IN CHRIST so you can get to heaven. That's WHY Jesus came down to die for our sins. We CAN'T live perfectly -- but he lived perfectly in our place. All we have to do is repent and believe in the surety that his life, death, and ressurrection provides for your salvation. Christians aren't practicing homosexuals because Jesus is now their Lord and King, and he beseeches us not to commit those acts through his Scriptures. It's clear these things grieve him; they are sinful and damaging. He wants us to love others, and they're ultimately very harming to others. They are outside God's design for righteous pairings. At the same time, we're totally reliant on him to give us the strength to abstain from sin(which we couldn't do prior to being in the faith. Temptation is very real, and we are meant to lay our burdens onto Christ, not try to bear it ourselves to "prove our righteousness"). We are meant to fall on grace that he provides; that we would humbly repent when we sin. He will forgive us when we repent.
      I won't lie, that's all kind of a lot to say to a 9 year old, or even a 14 year old. There's a lot there that most adults don't understand, let alone kids. So, what exactly do you propose a Christian says to a kid who asks about homosexuality or premarital sex? I currently don't have any great ideas.
      Edit: just saw that last line about sex. Sex is not a stuffy religious ritual. It's really sad some Christians are raised to think that way. They really should read their Bible more; they would not come to the conclusion that sex is a creepy religious ritual if they read Song of Solomon, some sections of Proverbs, and 1 Corinthians 7:1-5. Christians should believe sex is good, but can be done rightly or wrongly(premarital sex, homosexuality, adultery, beastiality, incest, etc). Sex is a gift to married people to enjoy, and it's something God intended--its not "dirty" or "evil".

    • @thebohemianserb2114
      @thebohemianserb2114 Год назад

      Lesbian sex isn’t anywhere as intense as you would imply, it’s perfectly natural and normal, I’ve done it plenty of times and it really isn’t that huge of a deal. It has nothing to do with god, I have never thought about having sex to worship a god, and I never want to. I want to be focused on my partner and really just let natural instinct have it’s way for a moment. Being sexual only to please an overbearing god or submitting to a lifetime of sexless solitude will cause people to become perverted. They’re standards sink and they want sex desperately enough to steal it from another person without permission. What kind of life is that? People need balance in all aspects of life, they can’t be expected to live without sex anymore than they can live without shelter or clothes. I’m not having sex to please your god, please stop trying to force me, it’s low key harassment. How would you feel if someone came to you and told you that you have to masterbate to please Oden or you’re a dirty, unlovable sinner who deserves to be buried in landfill and spend the afterlife having your skin torn off by a pigeon bit by bit? You would feel harassed, that is how I feel when Christians tell me to bend over and let their god f3ck me.

One that only says "You feel bad about your body now? Ok, change it, and you will feel better." The 13, 14, 15 year old is CERTAINLY not thinking twice their lifetime ahead and considering what could happen at that time in their bodies. Idk, studies have shown transitioning is the most effective treatment for gender dysphoria, as in, trans people are dramatically happier when allowed to transition. To them, it is part of the work. I don’t think young kids should be having surgery or put on pills that cause permanent changes, but they aren’t anyways, it’s illegal in most places to do so. But, for an adult with gender dysphoria, there is no logical reason not to let them transition when empirical data suggests they will be better for it. It is society which condemns them for doing what is best for them that causes them distress.

Plus the massive backlash against them as they have become more visible, as demonstrated by this whole comment section, their existence and identity is constantly invalidated and questioned, it’s hard enough to figure out who you are, but put this into it and suddenly everyone has an opinion on how you get to express yourself. Naturally high testosterone will be nowhere near the levels you get to with anabolic steroids.
      If his natural levels are abnormally high, then he has an increased risk of heart disease, heart attack, stokes, impotence, low sperm count and elevated risk of certain cancers, but I’d assume he’s had those levels all his life, so he would have had issues by now with it, if it was abnormally high for decades.
      Adrenal gland disorders are the most common cause of abnormal high testosterone in men….The other cause he’d have noticed by now, as he’d be walking pretty funny 😂…So it pretty clear that’s not the case.
      Most body builders with abnormally high test levels do not make your dads age, due to using artificial means to get those levels.
      A cholesterol check at the least would be my suggestion, as abnormally high testosterone levels greatly increase cholesterol levels, which leads to cardiovascular issues, but I doubt this will be an issue for him if he’s fit.
      The other option is to get some bloods run from an endocrinologist, to check for Adrenal issues…..But some men just have naturally high testosterone levels, with no underlying causes….It’s just in their genetics to have higher test.
      It will also depend on his free testosterone levels.
      Men have total test count and a free test count.
      More free test is highly desirable to build muscle lean mass (which is why people like myself used anabolics as we aged, as test levels decrease with age) but too much total test leads to health issues (usually this is due to anabolic use)
      If it’s his free testosterone thats high, then that probably accounts for his fitness etc.
      If he’s that age and has had those levels all his life, then he’s just genetically blessed, lol.
      At the end of the day, I’m not a doctor and I only have personal experience with issues from Anabolic steroid use.
      I’m pretty sure your dad will be just fine and he’s just blessed with good genetics by the sound of it.
      Seems like he’s one of those guys who won the genetic lottery.

    Does sex reassignment surgery make people happy?
    You’re in a conversation and someone says, “If you deny people sex reassignment surgery, they’re going to kill themselves! Is that what you want?”
    What would you say?
    First, it’s important to recognize what they’re trying to say. They care about people. They want them to be happy and that’s something we have in common. But the question to be asked is, “Does sex reassignment surgery make people happy?”
    Here’s 3 things to remember…
    First, the evidence suggests that sex reassignment surgery does not make people happy. There is no long term study indicating that sex reassignment surgery provides long-term improvements to quality of life. Some studies say that people are happy with the surgery in the short term and like the way they look, but it doesn’t improve their lives overall. A Swedish study of 324 transsexuals concluded that after sex reassignment surgery, patients had considerably higher risks for mortality, suicidal behavior, and psychiatric problems than the general population. Another study found that those who have sex reassignment surgery are 19 times more likely than the general public to commit suicide. This is tragic.
    Second, gender dysphoria is real but it may be a symptom and not a cause. It’s impossible to identify a single reason why gender dysphoria exists and how to help people who struggle with it. However, in light of the significant evidence that sex reassignment surgery does not resolve long-term mental distress, we need to be willing to consider that the real problem lies elsewhere. And if so, these experimental surgeries only treat symptoms and not the actual cause of the pain.
    Third, 80% of children with gender dysphoria will outgrow it. Research on both sides of this issue supports this finding. It may be that the rush of testosterone or estrogen during puberty makes gender dysphoria go away. But consider this, if gender dysphoria is temporary and people who undergo sex reassignment are 19 times more likely to commit suicide than the general population, why would we encourage children to join a category that puts them at a much higher risk of self-harm? We shouldn’t!
    So ultimately we should want people to be happy with who they are. The science indicates that sex reassignment surgery doesn’t accomplish that. Sex reassignment treats symptoms and not the real source of pain. We should never push children into a higher risk of self-harm.

      So, I am reading the literature online. It doesnt agree with you. On actual medical websites, and not places like the heritage foundation or prageru, data shows people in general are more happy.

    • @jakey3887
      @jakey3887 Год назад

      @@wormpielars979 depends on what you mean by “trans”. They either have gender identity disorder that needs to be corrected, or they fell victim to a social contagion fad.
      So the question is, if I reject the idea of transgenderism, am I denying trans people exist? If I reject the idea that men can give birth, am I denying trans people exist?
      There are certain individuals out there who keep using the word “people” instead of using the word “woman” specifically when referring to pregnancy or other euphemisms because they are refusing to say the word woman. Apparently if I say women only get pregnant that makes me transphobic? Well, I think science would disagree with that. It’s scary that these are not just regular ordinary everyday people too. It’s also so called “professors or elites” teaching this false ideology in schools and universities too.
      So let’s be clear here. As a conservative, if someone were to ask me if trans people exist, the answer is without a doubt NO! For the most part conservatives do not believe trans people exist. Because they in fact don’t exist. Allow me to explain….
      Transgender is NOT a category of BEING that is real. Does that make sense? You literally can’t be that.
      Now, can people who “think” they are the opposite gender exist? Yes! Those people actually do exist. In other words, people with gender identity disorder EXIST. People with gender dysphoria EXIST. But “transgender people” literally DO NOT EXIST. They can’t exist. Because to even accept the category of transgenderism is to accept the premise that a biological man really CAN be a biological woman.
      That’s why there is a different term for “transgenderism” and “gender identity disorder”. This is why the people who are men who think they are women identity themselves as transgender. They don’t identify themselves as people with gender identity disorder.
      Sort of like saying that a skinny person who thinks they are a fat person is anorexic. They are in fact anorexic no matter what. In other words, they are not a “secretly fat person”. They are not an “invisibly fat person”. In this analogy here, anorexia and gender identity disorder and gender dysphoria are all medical conditions that ought to be treated and corrected.
      Transgenderism, or a “transitioned person”, would be analogous to “really skinny very fat person”. In other words, it’s a logical impossibility. It’s not a real category.
      Now obviously a lot of conservatives already know this and many still don’t speak out against it for obvious reasons. They’ll be “deplatformed”. If anyone tweets “transgender people do not exist”, it probably goes against twitters rules and you’ll be taken off the platform, even if it’s scientifically true but goes against “societal norms”.
      So if I say trans people technically don’t really exist and someone calls me bigoted, then I just simply respond, “People exist. Confused people exist. Sexually eccentric people exist.” But “transgender people” DO NOT EXIST. They CANNOT EXIST because that is NOT AN ACTUAL ONTOLOGICAL CATEGORY.

    He made a great point when he said "Transitioning is not beautiful", and it made me relate it with sex. Hear me out.
    Sex feels good, having enough sex is healthy for your body, and sex is necessary for reproduction for the most part, but sex is Not beautiful. It's two people, usually naked mashing their bodies together, sticking bits into other bits, fluids getting mixed up and sprayed in and on places.
    And the same for transitioning. If therapy doesn't work, transitioning can help you feel better about yourself, creating a healthier overall life, but ftm or mtf, it is not beautiful, it's a bit grotesque. But if it makes You happy, and doesn't affect others, then regardless of how beautiful or not something is, do it.
    But do try and exhaust all other avenues before pursuing something life changing.
