I made these last night. I chilled the dough a couple of hours and then scooped out, put in a plastic bag, chilled a bit more; then baked these at 170-175 C for 13. Because my oven was too strong, had to lower the temp the recipe indicated. And i have to say, out of like 7 recipes i’d tried, this one was the most magical and quite outsanding flavorwise. The caramel notes in these was over the top. Will be only using this recipe from now on!!!!!!!!

I loved this recipe! I just changed a few things to tailor it to what i like. I did half brown and half white sugar(to remove a weird after taste i encountered with only brown sugar), added flaked salt, and put it in the oven at 170 celsius for 11 minutes.

Also in my country there is only crystal Brown sugar(by sugarcane) that looks like White granulated Sugar. If I use this will it become as chewey as with Parker?

I believe you will be fine, the sugar is more dry, so you may have to add a bit of water to the batter... if you make it and it seems dry just add a bit of water.... do not worry, the water will evaporate in the oven as the cookies bake. I think you will be 100% ok.

Thank you for watching my video 👍😊 and thank you for sharing my recipe too. IF I don't reply, it's because I'm so busy, and have to go back many pages to see questions. I get about 150 questions a day and it is hard to keep up. This is hard to say, try the bottom I guess. Make sure that when you bake - that both upper and lower heating elements are ON ...... if you find your cookies are baking too quickly, place an extra baking pan on your rack, then place the pan with your cookies on top of that - this helps dissipatete the heat that goes directly into the bottom of your pan that has the cookies on it.

i think my scooper may be smaller cause my cookies were baby tiny but otherwise they are amazing. the texture of the batter was perfect....i knew they'd come out fantastic! thanks! and fyi they don't spread hardly so they will come out close in size to the raw.

Just made these cookies, I replaced the brown sugar with white sugar and add a little chia seeds just to make it "healthy". This cookies are great, made total of 26 cookies, turns out they get pretty bigger in the heating process so I have now 26 giant cookies.

Hey, BakeLikAPro. I had made the other chocolate chip cookie recipe you have and they turned out really soft and chewy. Although they were really good, I wanted a recipe to bake thicker and crispier cookies and you've recommend the recipe in this video. Well, I made these cookies today. The first ones came out a bit softer than yours, then I realized that I had to add more flour. To put it shortly, those were the best cookies I`ve ever made, thanks to you. They ended up thick, crispy but soft inside. The exactly way I wanted. Thank you for the recipe. My all time favorite :)
bLOnDiiE07 Yes, I did use this exact same recipe. But I had to add more flour to get a drier and non-sticky dough. The recipe says 1 and a 1/2 cups of flour. I haven't measured, but I think I've used 2 or 2 and a 1/2 cups of flour, give or take. As the weather, humidity and temperature may influence the dough consistency, I'd recommend you to follow this recipe and, if you don't get a dough like the one in the video, add more flour into it little by little until you get a smooth and non-stick consistency.

You may do this without any problem at all. In some of my recipes I'll use unsalted butter, some salted. If you wish to use salted butter, just omit any extra salt you see in a recipe.

I loved this recipe! I just changed a few things to tailor it to what i like. I did half brown and half white sugar(to remove a weird after taste i encountered with only brown sugar), added flaked salt, and put it in the oven at 170 celsius for 11 minutes.

Also in my country there is only crystal Brown sugar(by sugarcane) that looks like White granulated Sugar. If I use this will it become as chewey as with Parker?

I believe you will be fine, the sugar is more dry, so you may have to add a bit of water to the batter... if you make it and it seems dry just add a bit of water.... do not worry, the water will evaporate in the oven as the cookies bake. I think you will be 100% ok.

I'm so obsessed with your channel, I have literally shared your chocolate mud cake everywhere, and everyone loves it! These cookies are next on the list, the problem is, I don't have a middle rack, only bottom and top, where shall I put them?
Thank you for watching my video 👍😊 and thank you for sharing my recipe too. IF I don't reply, it's because I'm so busy, and have to go back many pages to see questions. I get about 150 questions a day and it is hard to keep up. This is hard to say, try the bottom I guess. Make sure that when you bake - that both upper and lower heating elements are ON ...... if you find your cookies are baking too quickly, place an extra baking pan on your rack, then place the pan with your cookies on top of that - this helps dissipatete the heat that goes directly into the bottom of your pan that has the cookies on it.
I just made the other chocolate chips cookies from you. and I got this! I am making this next week then. to top it on the cupcakes I am making for my little girl birthday party! Lots of 🍪 wishes from Penang! ooh by the way... all of kids 4 of them ❤ them so much.
i think my scooper may be smaller cause my cookies were baby tiny but otherwise they are amazing. the texture of the batter was perfect....i knew they'd come out fantastic! thanks! and fyi they don't spread hardly so they will come out close in size to the raw.

Just made these cookies, I replaced the brown sugar with white sugar and add a little chia seeds just to make it "healthy".
This cookies are great, made total of 26 cookies, turns out they get pretty bigger in the heating process so I have now 26 giant cookies.
So I made these instead of the Muffins and they turned out amazing!! I'll be making the muffins tomorrow!

Hey, BakeLikAPro. I had made the other chocolate chip cookie recipe you have and they turned out really soft and chewy. Although they were really good, I wanted a recipe to bake thicker and crispier cookies and you've recommend the recipe in this video. Well, I made these cookies today. The first ones came out a bit softer than yours, then I realized that I had to add more flour. To put it shortly, those were the best cookies I`ve ever made, thanks to you. They ended up thick, crispy but soft inside. The exactly way I wanted. Thank you for the recipe. My all time favorite :)

bLOnDiiE07 Yes, I did use this exact same recipe. But I had to add more flour to get a drier and non-sticky dough. The recipe says 1 and a 1/2 cups of flour. I haven't measured, but I think I've used 2 or 2 and a 1/2 cups of flour, give or take. As the weather, humidity and temperature may influence the dough consistency, I'd recommend you to follow this recipe and, if you don't get a dough like the one in the video, add more flour into it little by little until you get a smooth and non-stick consistency.

I tried it today it was painful for me to use egg but trust me when i made it it turned out superb cookies were so yummy my parents told but i didn't enjoyed it as i was not able to eat it as i dont like eggs but still thnx a lot for this recipie sir
... you can’t taste egg in baked goods but if you are insistent then bananas make good substitutes for eggs

What about removing salt from the ingredients and using salted butter, instead of using non salted butter and then add salt to the mix?
You may do this without any problem at all. In some of my recipes I'll use unsalted butter, some salted. If you wish to use salted butter, just omit any extra salt you see in a recipe.
