Communication also seems to have stopped at some point as nick has been noted as saying that he didn't even know his marriage was over until he was told...by her and her request for a divorce. All of this basically stated in her book and an actual recent interview with Nick last year.

I wondered if that was why she had Cacee move out in the first place. She really didn’t do much work as an assistant. Being married is hard, having anyone live with you would make it even harder.
Jessica says in her book that Casey actually tried talking Jessica out of her affair with Johnny Knoxville During the making of The Dukes of Hazzard. Casey also felt sorry for Nick cause of the way Jessica was treating him.. especially during the divorce. Casey stopped talking to Jessica for a while cause she and Nick were still good friend's. I think it was low down of jessica to ask for a divorce yet, Didn't give up her Secret affair with Johnny.. as far as Nick knew she wanted a divorce cause she had "grown up, and wasn't a girl anymore" she was turning into a woman.. which Is the biggest bunch of bullcrap.. she started wanting to have sex with other men other than Nick. She went boy crazy if you ask me. Tony Romo broke up with her cause he felt like she cheated on him with John Mayer.. so thank God she ended her marriage with Nick.. but she could have at least been 100% honest with him 💔

The show however insinuates that Cacee was the best friend from back home and basically mooching off of Jessica when actually they met inLA. Maybe the show thought it would be better TV to push the bff from back home angle.

I remember reading in her book that Cacee wanted them to stay together. The marriage was sadly not going well at this point. Nick made an awful comment to her that everyone in her life is on her payroll ... idk. I think him not having a career and Jess away it was all to much.
In Jessica’s book, Jessica describes Cacee as the more mature one-the one that pushed Jessica to do her best. She was not there to ruin the marriage, nor was she into Nick. When Nick and Jessica were having marital problems she was encouraging Jessica to work on it and stick it out.

Stradling another woman's husband and massaging him is not ok. I remember reading that Cacee and Nick did indeed have an affair. It's not hard to believe if that's how they behaved even with the cameras on! Jessica was too trusting to figure it out although she did say he was being weird to her. Oh well, her husband now is very loving, hot, and successful. And she's beyond wealthy with her clothing line and has beautiful babies. Good for her.

If anyone has ever had a relative move in their house, they understand Nick's delimma and reactions. Having your partner's friend or relative move in is like allowing a foreign country the ability to cast votes on domestic decisions. The relative or friend is a guest, nothing more. You didn't marry them so their input gets vetoed. Anyone who allows their relative/friend to have a say in their intimate relationship, needs to be single. Grown folk don't allow outsiders to dictate their decisions. Hats off to Nick for allowing the relative to move in, had it been me there would have been strict ground rules beforehand. My house. When I watched these episodes back in the day....I always thought it was Jessica was the one that was annoying and I could relate to Nick's irritation with her......BUT .....now watching it over a decade later.....Nick was an irritable, annoying bird.
