Thank you for this information. Could the endless youtube videos what is causing my depression? I recently had a panic attack and now am extremely fearful and depressed. I no longer enjoy the stuff I used to. I’ve been RUclips watching for the last few months for long hours, Is it because there is no input from me but rather just watching passively causing this? Just trying to understand your point if I got it right.
Hey man, glad I could provide some value and sorry to hear that you are not feeling good right now. Fearfulness and depression can be so complex and have many different causes. But yes, if you are overstimulating yourself and spending a lot of time online that can in my experience contribute to depression and especially anxiety. Passively just consuming can pull out your life force because you are not using your potential and the mind you were given as a human. It is hard for me to give direct advice without knowing more about your specific situation, but if you suspect that you are mindlessly consuming too much on the internet, I would start to reduce that and replace it with other things that may give you something. The key here is to take it slow and not go all out, but celebrate some wins and start to focus on your life outside the internet and the screen. And lastly ask yourself the question, what would you do if you were born 200 years ago when no technology existed? Do you think you still would be as depressed and fearful?
@@FrancisDrake-crea thank you brother. I really appreciate this. I have been struggling lately and never thought about this aspect. May God reward you immensely for helping people.
@@FrancisDrake-crea For some reason I'm more productive when taking breaks with gaming and sugary snacks versus just doing nothing or something productive for a break to studying, so overall dopamine detox didn't work for me.
Everything is of course individual and what works best for you works best. Tbh I think gaming can be good for your focus, by gaming you have sustained attention on something and you use your mind. You also process other stuff because you are focused on something and let other things go. But in the video I am talking to people that are addicted to overstimulation by consuming TikTok and mindless stuff like that.

Did 10 mike tyson pushups immediately.
