Don honestly isn’t it much harder to listen to all that classified super secret blackOps bullcrap that these extraordinary gentlemen come up with, than it was to go through BUD/s? You are an excellent interviewer/interrogator and i rly applaud and appreciate your patience. Thx for the sad but entertaining vids.
I think Don is normally right on the money, but I'm not sure he's right about this guy. Seems like the man might have been taken out of context by other people and people just assumed he was a Seal. If Don is indeed wrong, I hope he considers apologizing to this man.
You know he most certainly led his friends to believe that he was a Navy Seal. He probably speaks with a whole lot of innuendo and insinuates things and then when people reach the conclusion that he’s laid out he denies ever actually saying that he’s a Navy Seal. If you read the paragraph that his friend wrote he said something like “he had the most interesting life of anyone I’ve ever known.” You know he’s just been making up and embellishing so many stories- people who actually lead super interesting lives don’t usually need to lie to make their lives sound even better.
And a great percentage of those who saw action and/or devastating scenes do not want to talk about it and relive it. There are a very few who do go on to talk about it in order to keep an oral history going also to help promote a movie or for a special cause and they still aren't comfortable speaking about their experience in full. As a Vet it kicks me in the stomach to hear all these bull$hit stories. They can't even get the facts straight. You'd think one of them would do a little fkn research to at least not sound like a total fkn idiot. It's wrong on so many levels!!
He said he had more stories then you could shake a Colt .45 ACP at or some shit which is probably 1 of the gayest lines ever but you know the dude 100% led him to believe he was a special ops, black ops, seal guy whatever of course he did and since he had so many stories you know they were all B.S. then his fallback is I never said I was that or I never said I personally went through that it's just a fiction book you know a quick interesting read...... TFO here bud your caught just say you talked too much shit and you messed up and you won't do it again or lead people to believe you are more.
Don doesn't get enough credit for the work he does! Keeping these scumbags putting it lightly from deceiving folks. Much love Mr. Shipley appreciate what u do and how u do it watch ur videos daily.

I was at Hueneme. 1986. did low voltage (B230) IC. I was 18 when I found out a few of us from NTC San Diego were headed there. Little did I know that that those guys BUST their ass. I specifically joined the Navy because Boot Camp was only 8 weeks and relatively easy for a 17 year old. It was not only worse than Boot Camp, it was worse than 2 a day football practices the last few weeks of Summer in HS. There were still a few Vietnam leftovers, salty and fully developed hard asses. They sent me on crazy long tasks to obtain tools and other gear that didn't exist. I will never forget double timing with another green kid forever to get a "Calibrated Wire Stretcher" and the show they put on to make it sound important in addition to their phony argument about whether to get the one for aluminum or copper AND stranded or solid wire. Yeah. two different supply houses, the first guy laughed and said "we aren't allowed to carry those, you need to go to blah blah blah" When we got there the Chief just laughed at us and told us to think about it for a second before realizing we were hosed. They tried that shit a few more times, finally explaining that they wouldn't have done it if they didn't like us. One thing for sure, by the time I rode the Nimitz EVERYTHING else seemed EASY. I came home around xmas in 86 and my dad accused me of taking steroids. Damn those guys worked hard and once accepted they were a lot of fun to be with. They were responsible for setting up the gear to connect vessels to battle simulation events. A LOT of wire to use and tear down.
I've ran them young boots to death. I would send them for a lumber stretcher, sky hooks, ground fault strippers, static breakers, gas powered light bulbs and pole twisters.

Don! Long time fan and I have the utmost respect for you and everyone you surround yourself with. I was reading over the description and appreciate you talking about where monetization and donations go. Thanks for doing what you do and Thank You for your many, many years of service and support to your fellow countrymen and women.

You have my awe, and admiration, for your resolve in outing the phony Navy Seals, that take credit for things that they never did, at the expense of those who have and have served.....as well as those who've fallen in battle or otherwise. Thank you, Sir. God Bless and Keep You and Your Family Safe and Well.
I remember this guy. I bet Jim was hoping this wouldn't resurface lol
Yes, posted on Don's original channel that was taken away by the RUclips team. That youtoob ToS is real gauntlet.
This guy is great! He should have his own show/act in a theater.
He'd have a sold out show just talking about his experiences in life .
Great humor and a quick and intelligent thinker.
He's really does have that Hollywood weird going
You’re the best Don!! I can’t stand these liars! Thank you for exposing these idiots!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
As you wade through the mounds of Bull Shit; don't forget to have a Happy New year to you and Diane. God Bless you both.
Thanks Don and Happy New Year to you and all your family!!!! Stay safe!!!!!!
Evenings are always better with a growly Don Shipley video to watch!
Good on you, Don! Keep up the great work - you and your wife are an awesome team!
“…yeah, well, that was me.” 🤣😂🤣😂
-Don Shipley -keepin’ it real.
You rock brother.🤘🏻Thanks for everything you did and still do.
IT'S EMBELLISHMENT BS!
BUD/S only lasted about 8 weeks I think. Not sure, I don't talk about that stuff publicly.
A natural comedian as well as a badass. Who doesn’t love our guy!
And thanks for your service! You da man
Thank you, Mr Shipley! Another good one, sir!
Guy says he doesn’t like to talk about it proceeds to right a book about it .
Keep up the great work Don! Love you exposing these imposters of stolen valor.
I was an 82C Field Artillery surveyor just after the Berlin Wall fell and before any shit went down in the Middle East. I spent four years drinking heferweisen, playing spades and avoiding the 1st Sergeant and you can thank me for my service!
Been watching your videos for almost 10 years now Don. The "It's Classified" line never gets old hahaha.
Your doing great work calling these scumbags out Don. Thank you for your service. God bless you.
Dude is living cringe. Part of my soul died listening to his lies and fantasy that should have stayed a daydream. Nice work Don, this one was hard.
He is a writer and they are a different breed.
Living cringe is right!
HONEST TO GOD I HAD A DREAM ON THE 13TH OF JANUARY THAT I SHOOK DONALD TRUMPS HAND (IV'E NEVER MET HIM IN PERSON) NO LIE!
@@rogerfournier3284This guy probably dreamed his whole story. 😂
I enjoyed being a Seabee at a NSWG2 I remember when I first got there and they wanted me to do all this extra training and I was like why I’m not a seal lmao, getting a front row seat to the special warfare community gave me the upmost respect for you guys
Can do!
SOF training is no joke. As the officers & cadre say: earning pins or badges is 1 thing, STAYING in SOF is harder....
I've ran them young boots to death. I would send them for a lumber stretcher, sky hooks, ground fault strippers, static breakers, gas powered light bulbs and pole twisters.
Awesome job Don.
Once again I don't know how you do it Senior. This guy was talking out of his ass the entire ten minutes. I almost fell out of my chair when you said "Describing bullet wounds on his pale torso..."😂 😂Keep Up the Good Work Don and Diane. 👍⚡️❤️️
Always a pleasure Mr Shipley. You’re the greatest…see ya!
Thank you, Sir
Thank so much for calling out these losers...my grandfather and my father in law were world war 2 vets...they saw major combat....my uncle was a marine in Vietnam....my dad was in the army in Vietnam...all bad ass solders....luv you bro
"Served in the Navy?" - Don
"I served in the Navy, correct." - Jim
"I'll be doggone." - Don
😂😆 Cheers, brother
🤣
Whenever Don says "doggone" I know the stolen valor liar is in trouble! 😂
Excuses are like ring pieces - everyone has one, good exposure once again. Stay safe and keep doing what you do. Cheers
As my uncle used to say, "Excuses are like asses, everyone has one, most of them stink, I don't want nothing to do with none of them."
It's like a real life Tropic Thunder
"I wrote the book - as a tribute"
"You grew hands!"
🤣
Always a treat. Thanks Don ⚓🚢 Shipley
I served as a 4 Star General in the Civil War 1883-1886. I was the first person in the world to fly across enemy lines riding an eagle. I wiped out half the enemy by myself. My reward for my service was ocean front property in Arizona.
I was there too, I rode into battle on a giant centipede (Dune sized)
But it's all classified
You've got to be a phony. They did not have four star ⭐⭐⭐⭐ in civil war
@@Seadog..C5 hahaha!
@@Seadog..C5 we had 12 stars in total, 4 on me, 4 on the eagles jacket, and 2 on each of the Gatling guns he had in his talons. 15 Purple Hearts, I had to retire because my information became classified but the eagle continued on to become a Green Beret, Army Ranger, flight instructor as well as some documented things I can’t speak of. My record is certainly sealed though.
HARRRRRRR!!!
That old Don Shipley "classified stuff" with the clasic smirk haha love it thanks for your service brother
I'm a muff diver specialist from the USS Beaver. I got my red wings for a hairy operation in 1969. I also received a medal for handling double D's during operation bunghole. Not to brag but I'm proud of my service.

Desert Storm Era Veteran 1990-1994 here, and our black ops missions as Combat Engineers only took place during night training exercises, so, you know, we learned how our night vision goggles worked hahaha, thanks Mr Shipley, another weiner for the books
Vets need to sign a document when processing out about penalties of Stolen Valor Act of 2005..
I was in Cub Scout pack 64 in 1960-61, we made some really cool popsicle stick projects, got a splinter in my finger, thank me for my service
I was born in 1958, wow.
been a while, happy new year Don
11:52 "Yeah well, that was me" the best ending one liner ever. right up there with Stallone and Schwarzenegger
I cannot believe in this day and age with all the Digital Communication and info out there that people still think they can get away with this?
My new favorite RUclips channel
Keep doin' what you do, Don. Keep'em honest brother!
I’m so proud of you for the work that you do . Thanks Top. Roscoe Rifleman USMC 1967
Every don shipley vid makes my day
"Yeah well, that was me" at the end!!! If you know... you know...😂
I met an Australian with a massive PTSD chip on his shoulder
He was a dental assistant on the "Vung Tau Ferry" the HMAS Sydney
Have you seen rural Vietnamese teeth?
@@internet_internet
No and either had this clown
The HMAS Sydney was an old aircraft carrier that was used to ferry supplies from Australia to Vietnam
It's debatable whether this hero ever put a foot ashore but because someone once threw a grenade in the harbour while fishing it was regarded as a war zone
@@internet_internet
This fella must have seen some horrible casualties, I mean... cavities
I did some actual deployments in the RAN, the scariest time I had at sea in peacetime waters was getting a cavity filled in Bass Straight, I didn't trust them when the ship wasn't rocking
Don! Long time fan and I have the utmost respect for you and everyone you surround yourself with. I was reading over the description and appreciate you talking about where monetization and donations go. At first glance seeing proceeds go to an organization you own might seem self serving but that money is yours and earned by the content you create. So knowing that goes into the operation of the farm which in turn helps many people and is not motivated by profit is pretty damn commendable! Then seeing the donations go straight to wounded warriors is just par for the course and at this point I would expect no less of you. Thanks for doing what you do and Thank You for your many, many years of service and support to your fellow countrymen and women.
It's NEVER "Behind You". 😠
Not only did he lead his friends to believe he was a Navy Seal, he wrote a book and then compared himself to Stephen King. Ridiculous.
Ikr, that's a whole new level of stolen valor 🤬
@ Yeah. He’s stealing credit in all industries, apparently.
If he said he was a chef or a mechanic, I would be suspicious. 😂 No field of expertise is off limits to this man.
Shipley's hair is on the offensive but his mustache color is on the retreat.
Never retreat.
You’re the man don!!
"Click, click, click, I verify that quick" That's pretty catchy you should have that on t-shirts!! trademark it too!
Dude wtf is the cover art for that book lmfao it looks like a middle schooler made it in MS Paint 🤣
Looks like the cover of a crappy DOS game from 1988 😂

I love watching your videos Don. I’m just an old Army infantryman but I love what you do

I was hoping Don would raise his voice and the guy would say, "Whale, yell at me why dontcha!"

I fucking laughed out loud when he said "i love Thailand and i hate the guys who go whoring there, it makes us all look bad." Don said that was me. Fkn golden
Hi Senior Chief Thanks for sharing.
He must’ve been another swcc guy flying to 60 different countries and four tours of duty in two years.
If you ever start up on youtube again, you should do a segment where you read off your five favorite comments. Some of them are really good.
This guy looks like a real life Elmer Fudd
This country needs a lot more people like you guys if there military or not just real Americans
I was in the Corps 78 -86 and would never brag about anything I did because I didn't do shit. Thank you Don for everything you do keep it up sir
I served under Colonel Sanders during the Clone Wars. I can't stand stolen valor!
I was there too, brother! We provided maritime support with Capt. Crunch and the Cereal Killers. We lost a lot of good men that day.
We found them later, but it was a tense 2 hours.
Don roasts more nuts than Planters🤣🤣🤣
Ending the call about Thailand with "yea that was me" was awesome!!!!
The Hard Rock Cafe shirt makes me think he’s legit… two legit ✌️ Quit! LYING 🤥 pants 👖 on fire 🔥
Keep up the great work. As far as I am concerned there is little that is below someone who claims these "Stolen Valor" stories. I have met some of them in my lifetime and never failed to call them out if I knew they were lying. I don't know how you can sink that low.
Worse than a liar who lies directly to your face, is someone who puts an illusion out there and dances all around the lie, and lets the recipient of the verbal illusion, create the lie for him.
Well said
Keep up the good work Sir! I love it when you "out" these phonies.
🤨Don they're getting DUMBER!!
