    I love my Colorado. I ordered mine last October and took delivery Jan5th. I just got the Trailboss in Tint coat radiant red, got all the trailboss packages, the factory 2 inch lift with the 18inch rims and 33 inch GoodYears. The only thing I was disappointed with was the inability to get leather. So I took it to an ulposter specialist and had him make me a leather interior.

    Most people will never drain their differentials during ownership. Also, You should try to pick up the truck with the rear lift arms at the forward leaf spring perch. Thanks for sharing the video.. Looks like GM went to electronic parking brake with the 23' colorado/canyon?

    • @ringnjc
      @ringnjc  8 месяцев назад

      Thx for the recommendation, I’ll look next time I lift it. Ya, unless you’re doing serious off roading, towing or track day(not in a truck) you’re probably right differential fluid should last a long time

    For the fellas who ordered their Colorado, Once the dealer took delivery of your order did they attempt to mark the truck up? In other words did anyone had to hassle the OTD price?
    I really like that lift, I wish!!! Lol

    It's better to remove the rear differential cover so you can clean all the debris out of the bottom of the case when you change the diff oil. You can then use a Lube Locker re-usable gasket to reinstall the cover. I can't believe they didn't include a skid plate on the plastic gas tank. That should mandatory for any four wheel drive vehicle.

    • @ringnjc
      @ringnjc  Год назад

      Agreed, to really do it right you should remove the cover.

    I hate it when manufacturers don't include a diff drain plug. I'm sure there are (or will be) aftermarket diff covers available for this truck that will include a drain plug as well as increase oil capacity. I would install one of those.

    The rear end doesn’t look much different as far as design goes from previous gen. The rear axle slop and squeaky leaf springs are the worst parts of the old gen. Not to mention the 8 speed lol the new trans I hear is better. Any slop and noises from the rear yet?

    • @ringnjc
      @ringnjc  9 месяцев назад

      I haven’t noticed any rear end noises yet. Only 3k miles on it so far. The 8 speed is ok, on harder acceleration it holds off on up shifting for 4-5 seconds after laying off the gas so engine still in the high rpm range kinda strange I guess to keep it in the high torque curve but not sure why it does it in normal mode, off road or towing I understand.

    • @wesreese5211
      @wesreese5211 9 месяцев назад

      I’ve heard that from others as well about the holding gears. Seems like it could possibly be fixed with tamed with a program update. Rather have that than some of the things my 18’ 8 speed does sometimes lol. Great looking truck, love the color!
