Just picked up a 2024 Colorado ZR2 Bison and knew immediately I needed at least the front steps. They are on back order everywhere but got lucky at the dealership had one set left from a customer who never picked them up.
Thanks for the video. Mine didn't come with any assist steps. I bought them and am installing tomorrow. Pretty straight forward mounting. But wasn't sure which way the clip-nuts faced. You answered my question. Appreciate it.
Anyone considered replacing the mounting bolts for a socket (Allen) type instead of hex? This steps are expensive and hard to find and I’m worried that they can easily get stolen. I might be a little paranoid but I had my Grand Cherokee SRT stolen from the Atlanta airport back in June.
Considering trading my Bronco for a zr2. These steps are nice, but looks like they hang well below the frame height? Guess the idea is removal for off road. Thanks for the video...
Did you install the front steps yourself? I got all 3 on except for the passenger front and i can't get both brackets in the rocker guard. I measured the driver and passenger guards and the passenger has about 1/8" less of a gap where the front bracket should go in. Im wondering if there is a defect in the assembly of the guard and if you had the same issue before i use a prybar on the guard or cut the step bracket to fit.
Awesome, just ordered the front ones today. Installation seems straightforward based on this video. Minimal tools required and no drilling right? Did you do a front install video?
Hey I am at the dealership now working my deal and got the steps included for a truck that did not have. But they can’t find them in the parts catalog. Where did you get yours
You really need to check with your dealer. I ordered a ZR2 which I received in August. Ordered the steps for $495.00 and received all four, not the two you received. Either I'm really lucky or you got hosed.
@@ferrarifxsno Jeff got a hell of a deal! Everywhere I’ve looked online and every dealer they’re anywhere from 395 to 450 per set. Right now these are on back order. Looked everywhere.

Your welcome. Good luck
Thanks for the video! I was trying to find the instructions online and didn’t have any luck.
Glad I could help!
Hopefully, aftermarket releases these soon.

I got the drive front on but throwing in the towel on the passenger front. I can’t get it to slide into place
What's the problem. Clips not aligned properly? Mine bolted right on no issues. Maybe it's bent? Dropped when shipping

Yes, they are made to be removed to go off roading and then Reinstalled
What are the gm part numbers for the front and back steps
The part numbers are listed in one of the responses on this video
I just put them in the video comments
Nice casting couch
Looks super easy, great tutorial. You think this will fit on the 24 ZR2?
Yes if you have the rock sliders already installed

Good luck to anybody trying to get these steps now. GM is so backordered that they won't even take new orders
That's a bummer
Yep, can’t find them anywhere.
They were sold out on Chevy but just went to GMC and they have the same exact steps for the Canyon AT4X in stock

I feel that I got screwed

They’re in high demand now. Paid about 400/set
Do you happen to have a part number for the front steps?
Front 84808889
Back 85158582
How are they holding up 8 months later?
Great, no issues
Do these fit the 2024 model?
Yes, it should as long as you have the rock sliders installed
Not crazy about them they really kill the ground clearance of the vehicle. They hang down to low ! They need to be more level with the rock slider !
That's why they are removable
Where did you buy them?
The gm store online
where can I buy?
You can buy directly from the gm store online and get a 20% discount
18 lb torque bolts , i did 19
These steps look really low! How bad do they hurt your ground clearance?
That's why they are removable.
They actually lock on the rock sliders and then you put the bolt trough them
