I'm always impressed at the way Julie can play two different characters and, despite me seeing their identical faces together on screen, I can believe they're totally different people.
It's why her and Ryan George are so perfect together.
I love how the concept of "unidentified" is relative, yet so many people miss that understanding and go straight to, "UFO's are extraterrestrial." When I was a pilot, I should've responded to the tower's inquiry regarding having nearby traffic in sight with, "I see something bearing 020 at 2 miles, but I don't know if it's what you said it is. So, yes, I have the UFO in sight!"
I think that's part of the reason why the new nomenclature is UAP, for Unexplained Aerial Phenomena.

I really like how the "realistic" Julie and the "flighty" Julie interact. Look the same but totally different. It's why these sketches work so well. Looking forward to 🍊 comedy tomorrow!! Get those juices flowing!! 🤣🤣

At first I was like "Is Julie making a subtle commentary on our social/political discourse in how we weaponize definitions to win arguments?" and then the twist happened at the end and I laughed my ass off. (Stop overthinking things, me!)
maybe it is, and the twist at the end is what elevates the comedy. a thing can be 2 things at once

I was thinking that when Deb threw the stick that Annie would leave the bench to retrieve it and Deb would lay down on the seat, moving the dialogue from a reality check of facts to a turf war, you know, not too unlike our modern day social/ political discourse today.
Ms. Julia Nolk. One of the few persons alive today that can pull off a Laurel and Hardie or Abbot and Costello, By Herself, without making you roll your eyes or scoff at the attempt. How we love her.🥰

there are so many other channels like you, with different characters played by the same person, but you’re the only one where i’m able to forget that it’s all you. you’re such a good actor and character designer that they all look like different personalities and not like you playing them
She has a serious talent in making herself different people!!
I, myself, also enjoy Ryan George's channel. They've collaborated a couple times and he really makes us forget is just the same actor.

I really recommend Jenny Lorenzo! She's also FANTASTIC with her character work.
Julie is incredibly talented with the whole acting with herself thing. There are major Hollywood productions that don't look as good as most of Julie's videos when it comes to doing split-screen stuff.
This is one great split screen work. Outside, there are passers-by and it’s all seamless.
Yeah, we've seen multiple Julies look seamless before, but always indoors in a static environment. Here, there are leaves blowing, people passing by (as you said), and it is still seamless.
The frustration of Book Julie is palpable... I relate 🤣😂🤣.
Why is it so fun to be annoyed with her together lol?
It’s always amazing to see how each sketch turns around at the end. I thought she was going to be the alien.

Alien is relative
For literally every other duplicate video actor, I have to keep reminding myself that it's supposed to be different people, not the same person playing two roles. For Julie, I always have to remind myself at the end of the video that I just watched a single actor.
The chemistry between Julie and Julie is remarkable!
The two-shots in this are just so well done. Shooting outside, lighting conditions will change - the sun moves round, goes behind clouds, etc. To get everything to be the same brightness from take to take, you'd have to just be really fast and/or lucky. Or else Julie's VFX game has levelled up.
But then this alien with no shadow turns up? So now I don't know what to think...
The most stressful part about this for me is that Julie kept interrupting Julie while she was trying to read. 😩

Being a video editing novice, I found it amazing how Ms. Nolke did the park bench thing, with her on each side. If it was the Church sisters, that would be easy to figure out, but Julie doesn’t have a twin? I’m sure others are not as amazed, as I am.
