Anyone else see this as a relationship pattern? You meet someone who kinda annoys you but keeps hitting you up. Eventually you start to enjoy that person, it becomes fun and familiar… then they disappear.

Julie's acting is spot on. I truly felt her sadness and it hurt.
I can't even imagine how long this took to make. There are so many wardrobe and location changes and you managed to find these genuine emotional beats. I don't know how you kept track of everything. You went from personable to frustrated to resigned then incrementally went back up to true happiness. It never felt like I was watching a sketch. It's an epic. I wish I had better words to describe it's simple elegance. Amazing.
This reminded me of dark mirror episodes, but honestly, this reminded me of diluted version of the movie "HER",
more like "HIM" 🙌

I thought the ending was gonna go so much darker. Julie in a cage with fast seven playing as she is forced to live off pizza.
I thought it was an elaborate scam to get answers to her secret questions to steal her identity
this is such a normal, fun, thought provoking skit, and then it hits you like a train at the end

How can we not stop loving your content, Julie? You are one of the rare gems that came out of the Pandemic from my side of the world (Southeast Asia). Also, when you "met" 'Sammy' I was all "hey, isn't that Enrique from Kim's Convenience? Oh wait, Canada, yes, must be him!"
When you crush on someone but your brain is like "Lets ask the same questions over and over again. THAT will let her known your feelings for her"
or, conversely, when you see what you want to see and crush on someone and are in too deep, before you realize they only ever said "how are you?" in passing, and never actually cared... but you'd read way too much into it, because you thought something actually did...

Those "Hi, Sammy" transitions from awkwardness to something your character looked forward to were so good. Paired with the musically perfectly. Always impressed by how well the execution is on a comedy sketch lol.
I don't think that it is a coincidence that so many of the great modern actors started in comedy - your Schwarzeneggers, Schimmers, Sandlers, and all the rest. It's their innate comic timing that paves the way to drama, lol.
This is superb. It reminds me of Bo Burham’s Inside, which is getting a lot of buzz presently. I’m glad to see comedy on the internet is increasingly challenging the subtle ways interacting online can be simultaneously isolating and conjoining - and also fucking terrifying.

It's amazing how awkward and weirdly so believable your work is that sometimes I really think that has happened but then some shots and jokes bring me back to reality.

Incredible… the ethos and pathos is palatable. Incredible dialogue between the antagonist and protagonist. There are so many story lines running parallel and diagonal . The ending is phenomenal. Steel magnolias + The Gladiator + wrapped up in the original JAWS + and always great to have a side of Seinfeld. Writing is seconds only to the New Testament (United Mormon Version). 🤗👍🤧
