My former employer had the bathrooms refurbished. The very expensive sinks had the same problem...the drain fittings were creating a pool of water in the sink (not the lowest point of the bowl). It was gross, people brushing their teeth or dumping soup or coffee and not rinsing out. I drove me crazy lol Anyway, I really enjoyed this video and it's getting me one step closer to making my sink. Love the eyes, btw :)
Building my first camper and can happily report how good the automatic dispenser feels. My partner was so stressed about having to use a pump but she was blown away with how easy this works. Cheers man

We have the same 'not completely draining' issue with our bowl sink. We already had the bowl. So far we are just living with it. If we are using our camper a lot I am going to get tired of this real quick. If I had known about the water sitting around the drain at the beginning we would have probably gone a different route - like you mentioned, buying a very small but true sink.

I bought a mini metal sink for my van and it fitted really nice .and I have a similar tap to what you have and it fitted to the hole on the sink pretty much perfect.
This is very useful for my build. What about the quick connect? It's not in your parts list and I'm having trouble figuring out what you used with Google searches.

Those drains that have. Lip are not good a flat one is best. If you are doing this and still cant get it to drain completely, get a turkey baster... It can pull the small amounts of liquid and u can put it in the drain...
If you don't want to buy a real sink. Perhaps if you use to work or work at a residential plumbing outfit. A lot of rich people may tear a old sink out to put a new design In. At least ask. They can only say no.

For a gasket that secures the usb pump to the counter hole use a 2.5 inch pool noodle segment. It's height adjustable.

I am definitely going to upgrade the sink in the near future. It was a fun project, but I learned my lesson as you did 😂

I think I will stick with the salad bowl, since this is a budget build. Whenever I work on a bit nicer build, I will get a proper sink
