Jamin, when you say make sure your hard drive is set to first, what is the first? Is the first the same as the F1 key? I would like to know for future reference. Thanks!
No. In BIOS, you go to your Boot Priority Order screen. Its a list that tells the computer what to try to boot from first. In that list, make sure the HDD is the first one the computer tries to access during startup :)

Hi My Ideapad s3 is booting up fine and works normal for few minutes and and suddenly get stuck and loading and it goes back to repairing blue screen and restart again with the message boot recovery not working, and when I go to the BIOS in the information it says hard disk is not detected pleass help 🙏🏻

Help I have run the entire diagnostics tests and all pass. My laptop is a lenovo w541. Still bsod happening. I've removed the HD and reseated it. I cannot alter the legacy boot as it is greyed out.

Lenovo Laptop (ideapad) Z510- Type 80A3. After Microsoft applied an update, my laptop was stuck with Preparing Automatic Repair. I watched a lot of RUclipss for answers without success. After I pressed the Novo button it got into the Novo button menu. Then I selected System Recovery, the screen just turned into black screen without giving me Choose an option. Nothing happened after that. I had to press the power button to shut it down. I cannot get into Advance Repair and/or Advance Option. How can I get into Troubleshoot? There is no external devices attached. The CMOS battery is still the original battery which is about 10 years old. Do you think I should replace it to solve this problem? Thanks
Are you able to find any option in BIOS that says 'Uninstall Last Update'?

Hello mine is a t540p and its showing system licence violation l tried everything its not working
I ran the storage smart test and it says there are bad sectors so l followed the instructions it gave me to run recover bad sectors in tools menu still not working

Can you help me? My device is Lenovo idepad slim 3 launched November 2022 i didn’t open it from back but when i somehow reached repair screen it was unable to repair my system and also can’t reset it if i choose delete all or keep personal file.And when I put recovery key it says it is correct but again after doing promt program and checking all things it again go back to blue screen and continue loop start help me
@pcmonkey I downloaded a game and turn off windows defender and then trying turning it on it got updated the windows and when I again restarted the system it got the above problem I mentioned

Sir, My Lenovo Laptop with Windows 7 OS was on and working fine since afternoon, When I plugged in a USB drive at nite, it didnt recognize it and I unplugged it. As this time laptop got hanged and Blue Screen appeared. After I shutdown the laptop, Windows 7 failed to startup.

The kind of processor your Lenovo uses does not affect these steps as all. Are you able to run the diagnostic test as seen here? Can you find any Repair or Recovery options in BIOS?
