Prof. Dr. Yubraj Sangraula is a PHD Professor of Law, the Executive Director/Principal of Kathmandu School of Law, Senior Advocate of Supreme Court of Nepal and Academic Council Member of Purbanchal University. He is also a Council Member of South Asian Institute of Legal Studies and Human Rights (SAILS Forum). Dr. Yubraj Sangraula has taught as Visiting Professor in Several Universities in Asia such as Rajibgandhi National Law University Punjab, Punjab University Law Faculty, Renmin University of China Law School, Chittagong University, and Chittagong, Bangladesh, Guru Govinda Indraprastha University Faculty of Law and Legal Studies, Beijing Communication University, China, Ehime University, Japan, Washington University St. Louis, Georgetown Law Center, USA.

I don't know mcc is good or bad for our country but iam sure most of the politicians willing is how and where to fullfill their account with a huge amt. of money but i am not trying to say all are same , i think there is few people who works for the good of the nation.

Despite some caveats, MCC is good for Nepal. Almost 75% of Nepalese are after the rumours without having a deep understanding. Chinese BIR initiative is more dangerous than MCC. Trust me!
People are supporting MCC considering themselves educated intellects while the speaker here himself is advocating that MCC should only be allowed if Nepal is i the position of the governance of the contract. He is also clearly warning the possibility of Chinese invasion as a result of such American influence; for Nepal being a neighbour country of geopolitical importance to China.
So, people who proclaim themselves young, educated and understading; have you really understood what you think you have?
I dont see a possible Chinese invasion unless Nepal tries to sign a military alliance with US in future.
I mean there are nations who are balancing the influence from both countries.

But, this along with another clause which stated "if the terms of MCC in anyway contradicts to Nepalese law; in such condition things are to proceed according to terms of MCC" was the main reason for all this drama. This clause was also re-corrected to "ACcording to International Law from MCC terms" in fear of rejection.

There is a saying, Devil can't enter home unless it's invited. Minute you sign MCC, our land is a battlefield. Our people will die like how people dying in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria. West has always entered east with friendship, but we all have known, that friendship dont last , and lasts only at the cost of east.
People died in Iraq due to the oil greed of USA. Afghanistan, due to Americans trying to outdo the Taliban (similar to prachanda of Nepal) but now the Taliban has taken control (which would be the case long ago if USA hadn't entered afgan).

Untill months back he was speaking against MCC and today he is diplomatically trying to adjust his statement by accepting MCC. Something is missing here- what is the reason for his shift in Mr. Sangraula's argument.

Nepal can benefit from MCC program in many areas such as:
1) Developing infrastructures
2) Creating more jobs for nationals
3) Increasing farmer incomes
4) Increasing market access and so on…
MCC has been providing help in many needy countries and I would rather support it than protesting against it…
