I honestly have to say that you're incredible. :) You are so intelligent and creative, such an amazing artist, and incredibly beautiful. I hope you find what you seek in life. :)
I think I saw another artist, Akihito Yoshitomi, also do a sort of collage of different things he saw. It's a really fun concept to try especially when you're walking around and seeing so many things to draw. I need to give it a shot too
He made a few videos called 散歩でDrawing. It was actually one of my inspirations to make the sketch vlogs, I just haven’t really found anything interesting enough in Canada to draw
@Alisa_Chung Ah, I guess that makes sense haha. I'm happy that you got to go to Japan, it's always cool to see different cities and the way they're built in comparison to others
I drew along side you (i drew my surroundings) I have been struggling to draw again and its been hard for me to cope with that, but i enjoyed your art and your experience in this video. I also liked the points you made about the detail in drawing and not over thinking it, it helped !
this vlog was a vibe. congrats on finally getting there! ive only been once but its my favorite destination - went to a small rural town called kusatsu. nothing like a good ski and then winding down in an onsen after. would highly recommend!
You did it! You’re in Japan! I can’t wait to visit Japan one day soon. I’m building up flight miles thanks to my job and Japan is at the top of my list when I build up enough miles.
I hope you had a blast in my hometown, Alisa Chung. Buy lots of cool stuff like beyblades and some stationary as well! Stay safe and always be alert! 気を付けて下さい。
It’s so cool that there’s a restaurant underneath train tracks. I hope to travel to Japan someday but it’s overwhelming to travel, and cities are a little bit scary, but your videos have shown me that even a neat can travel and enjoy Tokyo!
ようこそ!!Welcome to Japan, Alisa. Have fun. Above all, enjoy yourself, (than make and release a video). I am happy to see your shiny smile when you talk about Japan. I think you stay near Akihabara and Ueno, maybe (I used to be worked near). Now I live and paint in Tachikawa, an area in the very west of Tokyo. This is the city that became the model for ``とある科学の...''series, you know. It's really nice to hear your impressions of Tokyo from a foreign perspective. Actually, it would be interesting to have a rice ball object in the park as a public art, I thought. The ingredient in sushi is called ``うなぎ(eel)'' by you, but more accurately it is ``アナゴ(conger eel)''. Both are members of the sea snake family and have almost the same taste, but there is a difference between freshwater and saltwater snakes...When you go to a sushi specialty restaurant, you have to say ``アナゴ'' to be served, so be careful. And,,, the area where the last shops are lined up is called ``ガード下(Guard Shita)'' in Japanese. You have nice sight and focus as the artist. That's ガード下 is interesting. Anyway, it looks fun and I'm happy too. I'm going to follow your example and create a lot of works. Thank you for all the videos! Take care! お元気で! 無理しないでねー!!マシューにもよろしく!
Yes I am close to Ueno station, it’s really beautiful here and being able to walk anywhere gives me a sense of control over my choices again. In Canada I’m scared to go outside because it’s dangerous and it’s not easy to walk anywhere
I listened to it on your live streaming before, but I'll ask to it again. "Is Canada like such a hell, really?" 笑_:(´ཀ`」 ∠): I'm not sure how long you will stay, but please be careful. There are some bad people in Japan too. And take care your health. While I can watch your live stream on real time, I'll do whatever can to help(Reliability Score 70%-80% Guide & Transelation localize). Me, As a real NEET, I can only contribute so much to you. ガチのニート万歳。 In near Ueno Station, there are Tokyo Art University (東京藝術大学、Most High Quallity Art University in Asia) and some musium, and big park Ueno-Kouen(上野公園)and more, and more... you know. Please enjoy it if time allows and you want. アリサが同じ街にいるなんて信じられないよー、光栄です。 ベイブレード頑張って買ってね。
Yeah I get really depressed being in Canada, to be honest I’m lamenting going back. I know not everyone in Japan is nice I’ve met a couple troublesome ones before but I think it’s a lot easier to tell who is trying to mess with you when most people don’t act like such. In Canada it can be very hard to tell sometimes with people, because there are so many different people they can be a lot more unpredictable in that sense
Cool art work.. I can see it as a Postcard someday.😄 It actually fits perfectly well together. The giant Sushi and Onigiri on the street with many food restaurants.👍
I love going to Japan. On my first trip the two most amazing food experiences I had were having mind-blowingly good sushi in a random restaurant on top of a shopping mall, and also having incredible, but expensive, teppanyaki in the hotel where I was staying (the Okura) but since then I've also had great teppanyaki in a much cheaper place. If you go to Osaka try the okonomiyaki - amazing.
Wow, you drew that tree really well🙀 🥔🚚Lol potato truck, that sounds like something I'd be interested in.. Yeah & the Katana I've heard originates from China too. Japan's pretty cool, but it's neet how alot comes from China. China is pretty interesting aswell. You know you could take a picture of all of your sketches to upload the shots, & have a compilation of all your drawings, right? It'd be neet to see them all in one place like on your website or some upload area & sift through them. Or mabey I just haven't stumbled across them yet. But I've seen this,... the engine one, copter girl, horror/creepy themed house & Tekken characters. But not all in once place.
Yep, pretty much summed Japanese society up with the tree analogy: micro-management to the core. Trust me when I say it has some very very dark sides to it. Of course the weeb community would never admit that. But hey ho.
Hey isn’t North America known for the parents who keep their kids in literal inflatable bubbles because they are so overprotective. Micromanagement is a huge thing in North America in general
Hello, I'm from Brazil, out of the blue RUclips recommended your beyblade video to me, which made me curious to see a little more about your channel, your vibe is similar to mine, I feel calm and peaceful watching you, well , I really admire Japanese culture, I love anime and that's it, I hope you continue producing videos that you feel good doing, I wish you all the best, stay well.
Tbh the first time I went to Japan most people feel culture shock but for me it weirdly felt nostalgic. I could see a lot of parallels to things from my childhood
The nature in the outskirts is really beautiful, I think in Japan they have a tendency to work with nature and enhance it not to defy it. I think the most beautiful things come from allowing things to reach their full potential
I could go for some takoyaki. And oden. And ramen. And sukiyaki. And sushi. And unagi. And udon. And sashimi. And somen. And shabu-shabu. And yakiniku. And biru. And onigiri.
Extremely ma-ji-ik need to be in the case of wanting to attack things as well. and i have succeeded some maji-like things in candy. so i must sleep now i decide. Sayounara
Greetings to you Neet Alisa Chung, I just looked up the word Neet and low and behold I'm a fellow Neet. Though, if you do earn an income from RUclips doesn't that make you not a Neet? You certainly have enough subscribers, and I would imagine your Channel will get bigger.
I really have been enjoying these videos, Alisa gives me vibes of an old friend and it's very comforting in a way
That’s what I liked most about Japan was there attention to detail, the stores, the restaurants etc.
I like how passionate you sound describing the environment in Japan. Hopefully it can help with the depression you are dealing with.
I’ve felt like I’ve gotten a sense of control I my life just being here. I don’t worry for my life going outside, and it’s very walkable
I honestly have to say that you're incredible. :) You are so intelligent and creative, such an amazing artist, and incredibly beautiful. I hope you find what you seek in life. :)
ngl, i can listen to you talk for hours. your voice is so soothing, and hearing you talk in detail about things is cerebrally pleasing.
I think I saw another artist, Akihito Yoshitomi, also do a sort of collage of different things he saw. It's a really fun concept to try especially when you're walking around and seeing so many things to draw. I need to give it a shot too

I drew along side you (i drew my surroundings) I have been struggling to draw again and its been hard for me to cope with that, but i enjoyed your art and your experience in this video. I also liked the points you made about the detail in drawing and not over thinking it, it helped !
Aww bless you for keeping us entertained during your holiday ^^ I love seeing Japan so this is nice

Yeah Osaka is beautiful and the people are kinder!
I’m going to Tokyo tonight lmao
To be honest I think I prefer Osaka over Tokyo, it’s less refined and feels more authentic.
Eu tinha certeza de que ela poderia desenhar algumas arvores. você fez um trabalho, eu te admiro muito❤
This makes me miss Japan. Went there for the first time this year in September

Youre nicest concrete jungle maybe and Japan too .
Japan looks beautiful. But how much of it do you feel is artificially beautiful, vs naturally beautiful?
The nature in the outskirts is really beautiful, I think in Japan they have a tendency to work with nature and enhance it not to defy it. I think the most beautiful things come from allowing things to reach their full potential
