Wonderful machinery! My Dad managed the Cape Town agency for BMC, and occasioanlly he had British motorcycles in his showroom. I shall never forget, at the age of about twelve, when Dad told me to have a look at the latest Triumph he had on show. It was the Triumph Tiger Cub, a 200cc twin cylinder bike which stole my heart just by sitting on it in the showroom! As years went by, I bought a BSA Winged Wheel in the original BSA frame, front springs 'n all, and that was the beginning of over sixty years of motorcycling. I am now eighty years young, and still ride my Suzuki GS1000G!
Dont just love the old machines Thank you for watching I’m 60 years old now but love riding the old machines that pre date me tho I have the new Gold Star Wish I was there at the time when all these machines we’re together 😊😊😊
Long ago, as a boy, I saw that type of engine when a policeman parked, and I don't know why I really and especially liked that design, not to mention the sound. A lot passed and I got a Bonneville but I sold it after a few years. I've actually regretted that decision ever since. I had the engine but not the one I wanted. And here I found a similar 6T Thunderbird that I was dreaming of. It has been in my hands for over 45 years, I believe you know what that means. Thank you for the good video and the enjoyment it provides.

So, I am 11 years older. I remember well most of British bikes like AJS, Ariel, Vincent, Royal Enfield, Norton, BSA, Triumph as well as German like NSU, DKW, Zundapp, BMW etc. No need to mention Italian, Chechoslovakian, American all well known historical names ... Used to own a beautifull Commando from 1971. for years together with 6T, both after a few BMW types All very nice and lovely bikes ... some of them I would really like to own again.

My father had one 708aah bought end of 1959 ..maybe still out there but registration was on a mercedes car from 1974
Think there's one of those in the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience. Always worry about someone steeling my camera if I do a drive-by camera shot
Yes especially on a crossroads
Easily done
Not been to the Triumph factory yet my brother has il have to go sometime 😊😊😊
Great video mate, thanks.😊
