Hello Phil, I also own a BSA W32 -6 SV 1932. I'm thinking of getting the fins cleaned up. Do you recommend vapour blasting and what black engine paint did you use?

It seemed like it was running well to me, so I was surprised that you felt the need for carb adjustment. I get caught up in videos of (truly) vintage motorcycles, especially when they have to be fiddled with mid-ride. I'm always just a bit in awe. It's like the guys that know how to set up magnetos almost instinctually - it's a dark art - far too dark for me to practice. Thank you for the video! George

One of my friends had one of these in the 70s, bought it to my house for some repairs. New master cylinder, wheel cylinders shoes etc etc. After i had replaced it all bled the system got a firm pedal I took it out for a test. Omg the first corner I came too I braked, pressed a little harder then panicked using full leg and arm strength on steering wheel to get around the corner. Wasn't going that fast but what an experience. I should add at this time I was driving my 1275 gt Austin ado with very powerful servo brakes. I called my mate Phil he took car for test drive after i had explained my experience. He came back telling me brakes are much improved. 😂😅😢. Moral of the tail is don't assume any car will drive or brake like your own. Enjoying the vlogs 😊

I have a 1933ish 11-50 Brough Superior and with improved brakes is a very usable bike, I've even used it as a daily ride to work bike before now, I've done 14k miles on it and the only times it let me down was early on when it burnt out a couple of front cylinder plugs, the mixture was too weak .

BSA have so many iconic old models that they could bring back to life with a modern take. Looking forward to seeing some in the near future

Will copy when mine comes out of hibernation next month, very informative. I leave my optimizer on during the winter and also move the bike every couple of months during the winter so the tyres don't flat spot.

Just to be clear 😊 connect your temp bulbs 💡 to L Connect feed from battery 🪫 + to X P = Pilot lamp - to frame of relay You need two bulbs to make it operate hence when your indicator doesn’t flash one bulb has generally gone 😊 Phil

Thanks Phil for the mention. Im loving the format and as other have said the sound is spot on, i like a lot of others strugged to get good audio on board the bike. For me seeing those classic clocks and hearing the single thumping away just sets the scene for a great video!

Where did you buy the fl4 relay you demod on I need one exactly the same and I can't find one anywhere . If you can tell me where you got it from and what you ordered I will buy one. I hope you can help as I'm really stuck
