So nice to see a true enthusiast. I have been riding almost 60 years. Had many Triumphs, from a 59 TR-6, a 65 T120C, many Bonnevilles, T100's, and even a 650 Trackmaster Triumph, punched out to 750, Ceriani front end, a real beauty. just bought it last month, and I am 75!
I go to a bike night in Downtown Jackson MI. And there are three collectors that show up there with a couple of their collections each week. Good times. If it has two wheels its fun. Any questions 😅
Also, Jean-Claude Van Damme Triumph Bonneville in Nowhere to Run. Awesome movie with an awesome Triumph Bonneville chase scene. Jean-Claude is an actual Triumph guy, he has a custom shop 2017 Triumph Bonneville Cafe Racer.
Hi, I'm from Hong Kong & born in 1960. During my childhood I'm very fond of hearing the sound of the Triumph motorbike when the then Royal Hong Kong Police Force (not the nowadays rotten so-called police!) officers rode by ! Does someone know what model was brought into HK by the police force in the 60s (or perhaps 70s) please ?
The Shape... That Triumph Shape! How it fits the riders desire like the back of a fine steed. Assuaging the fairy tale reality thirsts so left wanting on the horses of the merry go rounds angst for them to life back then. Alas mine lives to this very day. Texas weather, and a 68 TR6R Trophy Sports i'd bought for a dollar a cc in 72. Fully restored in 2012, with a half way round the world 12,500 miles on it to date, Nobly nicknamed "Epitaph" after the 7th chapter of a book i'd just whittled out at the time of it's first overhauled breath & my 60th birthday. igilpin 10-3-16
Sold to be Diers Thank you for sharing. There is something to be said about the attachment many of us feel towards this special marque and their machines. The nostalgia and pedigree mixed with the raw beauty has made me a lifelong fan for sure.
nice video , my grandad worked at Triumphs in Coventry before the Germans made him redundant (ha ha) do you have a TR5 mx avenger in your collection ? I no it's really a BSA b50, but its got the magic name on the tank ! like you i'm a life time Triumph fan my favourite is the F750 rob north bikes, & my slippery sam rep. I helped out Triumph at the motorcycle shout Earls court in 1980/1 and ended up working for a Hinckley dealer in south London.
If it's the bike with number 6 on the fairing the bike is a Triumph triple works racer, Trident or Rocket 3 engine in a Rob North frame, you can still buy them from Rob North Triples, at the moment he has a stroked 930cc for sale at £16500
