Godddd I love Chef and Francis, and I'm really digging the new editing and camera angles you guys are doing, top notch. The edamame look great too, I know you don't eat the skin on the outside, but I love that it got sorta browned a bit, looks tasty
I'm glad to hear that you noticed the new camera angle :) Lightly browning the pods makes the bean flavor rich and tasty! closetwarrior

So beautiful. I love these basic technique videos. Beautifully done. Thank you.
Mmm, yes they are indeed here in the U.S! I love edamame, they're quite healthy while still being both filling and delicious. They're a much-appreciated food during Orthodox Christian Lent. I'm definitely going to cook mine this way next time!

Looks delicious and so easy :) thank you!
A method my old restaurant used to use was to place some frozen edamame beans into a heat-proof bag, and boil them in the bag for a couple of minutes. Afterwards, we would toss the beans with a slight drizzle of toasted sesame oil, kosher/sea salt and freshly cracked pepper. Num num!
Edemame is only served in a Japanese restaurant in America ^^ this is so rich in protein.. Domo arigatou gozaimasu^^ Gambatte ne~~^^

Delicious nutritious snacks!
maybe it's not really popular in my country but my mom often buy it so we could eat it together as a late night snack.
i'm gonna try it this way later, looks tasty!
I typically get edamame frozen and boil them in water. You can tell their done when they float to the top, typically takes about 3 minutes. Then just dust them with some sea salt and eat. Super quick, tasty, and easy to make snack food.
Thanks. It's actually a picture of Sakamoto, a cat from the show Nichijou.
I LITERALLY just saw those at my local grocery store yesterday, and had no idea what they were :P
Edamame look good! I'll try them sometime! :)
I really love your videos, chef! I only wish you'd upload more. :3
Oh yes I just LOVE edamame! :)
Awww she is so adorable ^o^

I've never seen these beans here in Spain, nor in Portugal not even in The Netherlands were I've lived for many many years, and they import almost anything! I think I would have to go to special stores for it. Thank you, very interesting
Thank you for your information! Please try edamame if you have a chance :) It's delicious! Sandra Estrella Rodríguez

In Portugal they are mildly popular. The best sushi houses sell them. They're delicious
I'm gonna steal a line from "that" chip company,"You can't eat just one",Super addictive and good considering the vegetable protein.
I love edamame beans!
In Peru that bean is called haba and is yummy in salads,in soup as a vegetable or as flour ,they are fried and eaten as a snack and are the main ingredient of Pachamanca.
Momsy, you's a really great cook, right?! My recommended Edamame is Autumn Tamba Sasayama one.

Where can I find the green water converter that you use in this episode?
Love it! I hate others type of beans though^^
Good video
I've seen edamame at the farmers market in town. I like to toss mine in a little bit of soy sauce and sesame oil.
There's a great sushi place in Madison, Wisconsin on state street that has phenomenal edamame!!
Now I WANT BEER argh!! But it looks like a nice snack :3
She's so cute!
Chef's so cute when she drinks the beer :D
I love edamame, but only had them when i was visiting Japan. I've tried to look for soy beans in Finland, but sadly i cannot find them anywhere. They would be such a perfect snack for summer time too...
I've been growing my own edamame for the past few summers, but the only way I knew to cook them was boiling, which sometimes left them soggy. I will try this way next!
I LOVE YOU, CHEF!
Aww...thats a sweet comment♡♡♡
This is a great recipe for obento! I really love your work, chef and Francis. I have a request: I'm brazilian and live in São Paulo. Here the japanese community is very active, and since I'm sansei as well, I've spend a great part of my childhood eating a lot of YAKI MANJU! Pleeease, could you make a video teaching how to make it? Thanks a lot, and cheers from the World Cup host! ;))
Cute new cartoon versions at the end of the vid.! 😁👍
Oishiii♡♡♡
Could you also steam them with soy sauce or sake?! To enhance the flavor a bit? Loving the new angles! Chef getting ready to turn up tonight! XD
