  • This video explains some of the unique characteristics of bisexual love and the way bisexual people experience love.
    Bisexual people love in a different way to what most people would expect. We are unique, different and complex. Our love is a reflection of that.
    This video gives a few points from my own experience and from my experience as a sexuality and gender coach. I hope you enjoy.

    We are so very misunderstood, so I greatly appreciate what you've said here. You're right in that we constantly question ourselves and can love so very deeply and broadly, which I feel creates this internal conflict we struggle with especially when paired with external societal factors. Sometimes it feels we don't fit anywhere so thanks a million for your content! This video made me hit that bell! 🏳‍🌈

    So beautifully explained Mark! As a Gay man I always look at it as the following analogy: It's like someone who's right handed, left handed, and ambidextrous. Each group is just as spiritual and loving as the other. just like right handed, left handed and ambidextrous people each can write or do anything just as good as the other. I know I said this before, but I'll say it again: Whoever ends up as your boyfriend or girlfriend, he or she will be the luckiest human being on the planet. Trust me.

    I had crushes on other boys even before I ever had sexual urges. Everyone develops how they do. Open your heart and embrace who you are. Yet some of my best friend bromances even since childhood, I have never thought of sexually or romantically. ❤️ 💜

    This video made me feel better about being bisexual and it also explained it in a way that the next time someone finds out that I’m bi I can explain it better than I could before. I have had boyfriends in the past which there were only 2 but both were great in their own way. My favorite part of being bi is being able to love both woman and men and other sexuality’s out there. For me it’s like having the best of both worlds. But he is right about the rejection from the straight and gay community. Sadly ware i work letting people in my crew know I’m bisexual is not an option because they make fun of the LGBTQ+ community and some of the things they say are hateful and mean. Every time they do it I start feeling so angry that I want to scream at them and tell them to shut up it’s not funny and it’s so wrong.

    Such great points - self-love and self-acceptance seems to be treated out there in some quarters as a kind of insular selfishness - working through this in terms of myself was really difficult - not just my sexuality but my general identity as a person. I also love your explanation on platonic bonds and sexual connections. I hope this video helps a lot of folks.

    Hi, thank you so much for all of the great content on your channel! At 30 years old, I am newly discovering that I think I’m Bi after living a very straight life. You’re helping me understand the community better and the way it can be perceived by the world. And thank you for also helping me better understand it for myself. I really feel for the younger audience and people that went though this in the past. It seems to be much more accepted now, but still working on it. I’m scared yet also excited for the future possibilities of finding love! Thank you!!😄

    I am married to a woman but really like to some time with a man. There is something that is totally different having a close emotional relationship with a man that I can’t totally explain. I know that when I do he fills that empty space that a man can only fill. I am so much happier when I have some quality man time.

    Bisexuality is fine, but as soon as I see one person saying they go by a plural pronoun, I know this person doesn't have the mental capacity to teach us anything, let alone be some sort of counselor.

    • @notdefining
      @notdefining  8 месяцев назад +1

      In the English language “they” is a singular pronoun where the gender is not specified. E.g. “Someone left their phone on the bus, I’ll hand it to the bus driver so he can give it to them if they come back for it”. Singular pronoun. Also I’m an Integrative Coach certified by the top Coaching Federation in the world, not a counsellor. Also, you may wish to learn how to spell counsellor. Thanks and have a great day.

    • @MarkRaphaelson
      @MarkRaphaelson 8 месяцев назад

      @@notdefining amusing take, but one would never need to refer to themselves as "they" That wouldn't be a preferred pronoun one would select. It's a default when you don't know.

    • @notdefining
      @notdefining  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@MarkRaphaelson Are we going to talk about the irony that you used “themselves” in that very sentence….or?

    • @MarkRaphaelson

      @@notdefining No, because I was talking about a generic person whose gender I didn't know. Another amusing, but unsuccessful, try.

      @@notdefining So can you explain why you didn't just say he/him, not that a male should have to. Anyone referring to you, knowing it was you would have no reason to use "they" since they know it's a "he"
