Turning off the tv worked for me. My issue was that I could not get access to the setting WiFi. Screen went green. Disconnected the tv for 2 minutes and it works now. Thanks
I tried all of the videos of pressing buttons five times etc, to no avail. I DID finally realize that if I unplug the TV and wait a minimum of 10 seconds, when the TV was turned back on it would briefly say Not connected and then connect. Not a perfect answer but it works for me.
You are connected to the TV via wifi then switch off 'wake on LAN' as it prevents your TV connecting successfully to the internet via wifi. Go to settings->connection->network->wake on LAN and switch off
Hey bro when i tried to connect mine to the wifi it stated connection timed out. Tried multiple times but it still saying the same thing but when tried to connect to the mobile hotspot it quickly connected is the problem is the router? Or should i just do a factory reset on the android tv since the wifi seems doing fine in other devices but not on android tv please help!!!!
just a up update mate i did a full reset and still does not want to connect so im thinking we both might have a bigger problem like everyone thing else is working fine off the wifi in the house from phones to tablets to computers so idk right now myself

I have the same remote you are using. My Hisense is connected by ethernet and have tried my 5ghz wireless as well. Both work great on Amazon & RUclips, but Netflix says no internet connection on either wire or wireless. No way to deactivate or replace the Netflix app on my Hisense TV. Rebooted router, modem, unplugged tv - still nothing. Again Amazon & RUclips apps work great, but no Netflix connection?

same problem here mate just a few hours after doing a up date im thinking we will need to do a full reset

Mine connects to wifi router and also my phone hot spot but when i try an app it says not connected to network.. Still connected to wifi though.
Same here! Netflix and Amazon work for me but other apps come up with the message “no internet connection”
