    This was a perfect diagnosis performed and correctly. Only thing I would recommend. When you swap coils from 1 to 2 you should move spark plug from 1 to 3 to also verify a good plug. 👍 other than that beautiful video.

    Thank you for this video I was searching for a video on how to replace my fuel injectors. I have a 03 accord 2.4 with 198k miles bought at 46k and never replaced anything except breaks and oil. I recently noticed my rpm gage would bounce at stop light's so after research I decided to do a few things that I have been putting off. I drained 3 quarts exactly of tranny fluid, fuel pump, spark plugs, coal packs, vtc solenoid due to a leak vtech due to leak, serpentine belt, 02 sensors up & down as well as 🐈. My cars mileage recently dropped from 410 miles a tank to 360 I've always had an obd connected to my android screen so I've always known how many miles I was getting and if my rpms were off. I recently paid $145 to clean my injectors and the 1st week on a full tank I got 424 miles on a tank I was amazed till the following week and it was gone so this is why I truly believe it's my injectors. I purchased some for $65 and will be installing them today.

      @JM Auto Repair so I installed my injectors reset my gauge and will update at a quarter of a tank which will be sometime Saturday. I did notice that cylinder 1 and 2 injectors were so dirty around the o rings that at one point I thought it was going to break trying to get them out. Almost all my clips had snapped because they were so brittle but I used a tie to make sure they were in all the way. I had trouble trying to put the new injectors in so I sprayed a little break cleaner on the o rings and they went right in.

    thanks for the video, before purchasing any parts, i will share my situation.car was running fine with no misfire but recently the past weeks, i went to work and my brake lights were stuck on (the plastic plunger that activates the lights was broken above the brake pedal) i had just parked to go into work (king taco) and didnt have time to figure out how to fix it. when i got back the car battery was completely dead (car was parked with rear lights on for more than 7 hours) I had jumper cables and was able to jump it but i have a feeling it may have done something to some cable or electrical something somewhere. when i jumped it starts but i get p0301 and the check engine flashes sometimes and then goes solid. I had to use the vehicle to go into work another few days and i notice after a few minutes it would run somewhat better. All be it to be honest the entirety of me having the car ( 6 years maybe about 35k miles (car is around 189k [2001 honda accord coupe lx 2.3l] i never changed the ignition coils or spark plugs, a few months ago i had put some fuel injector cleaner in. would the issue more likely be linked to distributor? online im looking at all these parts. ignition coil. i see something listed as ignition coil but it is more of a small squarish thing unlike the longish ignition coils. it is probably best bet anyways to check the spark plugs. wires hav enot been changed on the car so i would not be suprised that it might have been singed by too much power, at first when i connected the jumper cables no power was being cycled, but i move the alligator clip on the jumper cable. again and it made some sparks, i got the car started after that but since it runs poorly. on ebay for around 100 bucks i see a tune up kit that has a lot of parts relating to igniton, new spark plugs distributor rotor, spark plug wires, but it doesnt have that one square looking ignition coil pack (not ignition coils themselves) better bet to go overkill and get new parts because i have not done before and also i dont have much time to troubleshoot now, just wondering if the coil pack would be a better than the coil itself, but if its only cylinder 1 misfire....

    • @JM-AUTO
      @JM-AUTO  2 года назад +2

      at any time when the check engine light flashes dont drive the vehicle like that because that causes damage to the engine. you should exchange the spark plugs a coils to difeferent spots and see if the mis moves.

      @@JM-AUTO I also wonder if my fuel injector is not working properly. They have never been replaced to my knowledge, after the surge of power from the Jumpstart I would assume some electrical issue. There are also other issues on the car. The car was running fine (no misfire before the battery died and I had jumped it) after that battery and the surge from the jump I'm leaning towards which part it could have affected. Could a spark plug go bad all of a sudden like that? Ignition coil more likely or it could also be worn old injector that finally crapped out from electrical shock. The car does need a tune up, it wouldn't hurt to put those parts on, but I'm hoping it's not an ecu or battery issue. The cars had an egr issue for a while i need to clean the plenum. Recently it's been overheating like it seems the cooling fans aren't cooling well enough. My Honda needs some TLC! Battery was replaced brand new months ago. Alternator was changed but i notice the battery box is rusted with battery corrosion and my dash lights would flash super fast for a few seconds but I would not notice any driving issues

      this one is an old scanner, Autel maxidas ds708, it checks compression for some vehicles n it does every thing else too but you have to check what manufactures you work the most because no matter how good a scanner is it still will not perform some tasks on some specific years and models, I have about 6 scanners and still not enough because every vehicle is different n some scanners will do better than others, every thing will depend on what car you are working on, and yes I pay every time I update it, but it works with no problem if I dont update it. it does immobilizer n programm keys on so many vehicles.I love this scanner.
