Thanks man! Engi bracers have only 1 stat with double the value. So you can stack as much mastery as possible. Nothing to do with the Tinker socket, since it is not useable in PvP anyway
Thanks for the video - what are your thoughts on best melee comps for DHs?
Glad you enjoyed it man. The best melees to pair Havoc with atm are probably Unholy and Retri. Warrior might work as a worse alternative. A really nice and powerful combo that plays very similar to a melee cleave is DH/Devastation. For all of these combos I prefer Resto Druid or Preservation Evoker for healing.
Absolutely love the video brotha! I just came back to the game since September and used to be a rogue main till I asked Pikaboo in his chat if rogues are still good and he recommended I switch over to DH. For the last two days I've been watching your videos making sure I'm setting my DH up right and I have to say the videos are so helpful! Only issue I am having is getting used to these rotations and openers, given that my action bar looks a lot more naked compared to my rogue XD.

@@FelFireGazeTV no doubt! what's the best way to practice the rotations and openers? On a dummy im perfectly fine and i know what im doing but as soon as i get in an arena i freeze and have no idea what to do... any tips?
@@FrostyV4nom The best way to get started in arena is 2v2. It's way slower and simpler than 3v3 or solo shuffle. You need a healer that is able to at least keep you alive for a while. Even if you do not win, you get time to practice your class in a chill environment. Ideally a healer friend. If that is not a n option, bgs are the next best thing
@@FelFireGazeTV yeah just had a little more practice & watched some more of your videos and man..... even though I'm messing up a little on the rotation, the damage output is insane, was definitely a good choice switching from my rogue although I feel as if i have no healing when playing bgs and no ways of decreasing incoming damage... is there any particular aspect of DH which I'm missing when trying to stay alive? They seem like they don't have any self healing attributes
@@FrostyV4nom Nice man keep up the good work! Our self-healing has been garbage since 'Fodder to the Flame' was removed. We only regenerate by hitting people and that is mediocre at best. In our current iteration, we are highly depending on our healer to survive.
Glad I found your channel. New sub. Do you have to always use chaos strike right after eye beam to use inner demon or can you use other abilities like the hunt or death strike first then chaos strike? Thanks!
Hey there ! Welcome to the channel! You can delay the chaos strike and cast other abilities in-between. You have 10 seconds to spend the inner demon proc. However, if you cast another Eye Beam or Meta, the new Inner Demon proc will overwrite the old one. Never do that

on one opener you eye beam before stunning (fel rush) and another you chaos nova first. dont you want the target to be still so you don'T miss the beam?
In the second case chaos nova is 5 second stun if it only hits 1 target. So you have a a longer window to fit Eye Beam, ESSB and Death Sweep within the stun. Fel Eruption is only 3 sec stun so that's why you pre- Eye Beam

With 'purge first global' I actually mean using 'consume magic' as my first global cooldown while the enemy team is approaching. It's a little bit of jargon where all offensive dispels are often called after the original shaman offensive dispel 'purge' . I will try to use more direct vocabulary in the future. It's called ThreatPlates

Yes. 2 x Blue Silken Lining = double the mastery

im new and am leveling DH, but all the gear he has can i just get from a PVP gear vendor
Hey there and welcome to the DH family. PvP gear is bought from vendors yes using Honor and Conquest. Honor is farmed in all forms of pvp, conquest is farmed primarily in arena or from daily/weekly quests in other forms of pvp content

@@parksnwrekt2618 Yes. At the beginning it will be a bit underwhelming because you might be fighting against other people who already have the gear. But slowly you will get the gear, get better by playing and catch up

You might be surprised to see how easily good players can counter DHs. There are multiple things to do on Havoc to outplay various classes
A bad DH can still do damage and get up to 1.8-2k. But a good DH will absolutely delete you in most cases. Same with arms warrior, as long as you press mortal, sharpen and bladestorm, you'll get far. But you still need to learn the class to maximize it
Just like Dk back in the day. Everyone always laughed when someone said Frost dk needed skills, but then these people laughing would fail miserably at frost dk. Some are more forgiving than others. Dh is one of those right now. You can wreck, but if you have no idea what you're doing, you won't get too far
@@Vic-qp1gk This is a good point. DH is definitely forgiving to play at lower skill levels and hard to master at the high-end. It gets way harder when you have to start pre-emptively avoiding things with glimpse / blur /darkness. It requires you to constantly predict your opponents before they act
