This video reminds me of when my friend and I were both Blu, Scout, and doing the conga.
We happened to start conga-ing at just the right time that our animations synced up, so we merged into each other at the gate.
Red's Sniper, seeing this, decided to go back to their spawn and get out their Machina, so when the round started, my friend and I both got headshot at the same time.
It was wonderful.

1:40 we just gonna skip over how he casually hits bot 28 twice in a row for a 1/961, and then hits him again 2 shots later, and then hits another 1/961 on bot 1? oh, and then ANOTHER one just after the cut back to melee on bot 7
while it may be a 1/1024 chance to hit specifically bot 28 twice in a row, it's actually only a 1/32 chance to hit the same bot twice in a row since the first hit could be on any bot
why are you lumping all taunt kills together when some act differently from others? some of them are hurtboxes and some of them are hitscan
also, there is one situation in which it seems to pick the first to join, which is which name shows up with you look at them
If its a hurtbox it kills everyone, pyro's shotgun taunt and thermal thruster taunt are good examples
That and the scorch shot's taunt, which is a projectile.

Aren't scouts supposed to face the same direction? Since there are different hitboxes in their heads, hands, limbs, and torsos?
No, melee doesn't look for the player's body hitbox but rather the collision box, that's why you can hit a player when you aren't aiming directly on him sometimes.
@@X_mezo_X, well, they're still facing random directions, so I think their collision boxes still can interfere with each other
@@wuspoppin6564 no, your collision box stays the same regardless of the direction, otherwise you wouldn't be seeing it go like a countdown like that, the fact that it killed them one by one according to who joined last is more of a proof that the collision box is the same regardless of where you are looking at.
now we've learned once again that joining the server first will give you advantage and will grant you victory

If anyone is wondering why melee attacks prioritize differently, I was too. My working theory right now is that all regular weapon hitscans are done server side, while melee is client side (from what I recall), that same reason is why melee hitreg is garbage.

taunts have different types of dmg. heavy pow is hitscan for example. look up sigsev

Devil's advocate for all of this testing, and perhaps similar testing for players inside of other players in any other videos you've done: are the results due to the outcome specifically of which bot joined last, OR is it as a result of who reached the spot last? The difference here being that the teleport algorithm affecting the outcome because IT puts bots in the spot in the order of when they connected.
It's doubtful, but something to consider, and something that can be controlled by a more manual teleporting of the bots one by one.
It would not, however, explain the random kills, and does lead more heavily to join order for your testing.
