- SubScRIIbbeee! On Thursday, February 21st, flights were suspended at Dublin Airport for 30 minutes after a drone was sighted by a Ryanair pilot. During the suspension, three flights were diverted - two to Belfast and one to Shannon.
This follows drone sightings at the likes of Gatwick and Heathrow. The people in question have not been found.
I was on Swiss from GVA during this on the 21st feb, glad we didn’t have to divert :)
Shamrock 65W was instructed to heading 160 @01:41, they confirmed 150 @01:50.
Ryr needs a bose mic lol
good decision by pilots of Shamrock 65W!
xxi century and all you hear is 5% voice and 95% noise.
So they have drone detecting radar and this cant spot it but two guys, one in a plane doing 250mph and another in a truck. given the "drone was at 200' and was clearly not close to the guy on the ground i am calling bullshit
How do they make all that out. The quality is shite
Tis much much better in real life.
In the cockpit it does sound a bit better.
no real evidence again then.
Did someone else actually see the Drone besides the Ryanair Pilot?
No😂
@@oscarjameson5213 The pilot was making it up so.. Strange how no one else spotted it.
@@bebeg604 they only have to press the buttons in the right order and the airplane lands itself 😛
@@bebeg604 You're all "I know how to do it" until you actually do it yourself. You go try land a plane in 20 knot cross winds and gusting and you'll get a surprise of what it's really like.
@@bebeg604 I don't think a pilot would waste £120,000 on a fake drone report nor is it "just a few buttons" it's 18 intense months of training. Try it yourself, you'll fail.
I was flying to Bydgoszcz later that day 🤣
80s Freak 7X7 I was flying to London wishing it was Lublin 🇵🇱😂
A fecking crow is all it was.
Crows don’t hover at 200 feet
