I recall he made a bunch of other appearances on MTV back then, and didn't even he appear on The Tonight Show? I'm sure someone has these recorded somewhere.

The fact they got Doug Bradley for this is amazing. Also the reason why Pinhead isnt on the list is thats not his name! Come on we all know his real name is The Hell Priest, Or the Priest, or it couldve been under Elliot
Well, face it, they didn't let Ringo Starr in on the guest list either! :D That was the same memorable MTV VMA show where Krist Novoselic tossed his bass guitar up after Nirvana concluded their performance and got himself clonked in the head. Shame Pinhead wasn't there to guffaw....
Right when David says “there’s nothing I can do” I can just picture pin head looking the other direction, and then looking back at David spade as a hooked chain go whirling to his head, and same with the second chain! I love how he does that, it looks so badass!
@@666DementedDerek As far as I know there still hasn't been any 4K releases of any of the films. The fact that Doug sat for hours in the makeup chair getting into character as Pinhead, just so he could do a one-minute sketch with David Spade, tells you how committed Doug was to this character. What a guy!
Lmao it's funny cuz I did tell the marketing and getting past the secretaries to get to the buyer is very similar to this I love David Spade he's so freaking funny LOL 😂🤣
Honestly they could have done a Freddy Gag with Robert Englund, since Dimension Films and New line were doing business. I know this was a promo for Hellraiser 3, however Robert could have shown up and done the whole Freddy Kruger Bit, And Spade's character telling him Nope, no Freddy Kruger...Just have a Seat. @@txlyons2937 I mean we're throwing out the rules with a gag like this anyway, might as well intro Freddy with his music, smoke machine, with David falling asleep, Freddy trying to go through the door, but David still and telling Freddy "Just have a seat".
It feels so weird hearing Pinhead casually talk with David Spade about a Cosmopolitan issue with Cindy Crawford. I love it,
Yeah I think that's the joke

@@martinschissler9208 what else would it be? 🤷
@@michaelmcdonald8452 i just wanted to agree to your post as i felt it was funny how the other guy explained the obvious joke :)
Only David Spade could talk to Pinhead like this without getting torn to bits.
Dudes just doing the job he’s given.
Lemmy flipped him off in the video for Hellraiser.
Does he look like someone who cares what Pinhead thinks?
Emperor Kuzco takes threats from no one
Pinhead is like: "I thought *I* was the one with the jabs and barbs!"
Imagine you come to the club and see Pinhead's sitting on a chair, reading magazines.
Lolol
I don't have to imagine. I've been to some weird clubs.
I’d run the other way
Chatterer is in the back with a drink in his hand dancing with 5 girls
He's the one that really wanted to go out that night
I would love that
MTV was so cool back then even good old Pinhead appeared on there.
Sadly this is the only footage with him on mtv I can find
Have some usa network cameos
But can't find any MTV and Doug said he did alot
I recall he made a bunch of other appearances on MTV back then, and didn't even he appear on The Tonight Show? I'm sure someone has these recorded somewhere.
I digged lol I DIGGED even contacted some people and archives :(

You find anything let me know lol
So this is what he sounds like without voice effects
I know haha
Yea watched interviews with him, no makeup and was surprised to hear a brittish accent lol. I still love him!
What's funny is that Doug Bradley is so in-character that he says things Pinhead would totally say in such an awkward situation.
@Tim C Looks a bit like him but the voice isn't quite there (though I am sure they modded it post production in the films).
@Tim C yes, that's Doug Bradley
You can thank the writers for that.
plus sitting down and reading a magazine LOL
Very similar to Vegeta. Doug Bradley would make the perfect Saiyen overlord.
"Those who know me call me Pinhead."
Better not tell Clive Barker that. He may have opinions on that.
He’ll tear your soul apart…
Oh right it's "the priest". Such a generic name.

"Hell preist" to be precise
It always seemed strange to me that while fans or people called the character as pinhead in the movies they never say his name
The 90's was so awesome back then.
Too bad he didn't bring the cube with him.
THE CUBE?!
I think the OP means the Lament Configuration. To call it a cube would get under Pinhead's skin, which he would probably like. :)
I think he means *Nina van Horn*
I dunno, I get the feeling that David would just brush the hooked chains aside and repeat that Pinhead had to wait like everyone else.
F*CKIN INCREDIBLE xD

he cant, david didnt open the box
Thank you so much for this! As goofy as it is, it's a great clip. And there's also a great picture of him, David Spade, and Ringo Starr together!
That´s great , one of those stupid celebrities must have opened the box :-D wonderful Doug Bradley
I forgot about this. Would have been better with the voice modulation, but Doug was awesome in this.
The only thing missing is a sitcom laugh track
I really like this annoyed, but personable, Pinhead. I'd love to see Pinhead comedy horror.
He did alot if pinhead comedy stuff on mtv is the 90s sadly not much as resurfaced

I vividly remember him on MTV spring break and a bunch of fava beans lol
the third movie he was able to go ham and say funny things
YES!! With some good comedy writers and a few star cameos, that would be fun!
I have never heard of David Spade but it is very nice to watch Xipe Totec.
Haha! I never knew Pinhead did parodies like this. It's cool to see.
Crazy what a lil sound effects can do to your voice when filming
Is really the only time we can see him in character with his real voice? Thanks Mtv
It was doug bradley right? O.o
Sirdavitian indeed you can tell and
imdb says so0o lol
To me, sounds and looks like him.
NYCAustinNYC its him lol
This is amazing, pure art.

The only man to win against pinhead without the lament configuration. David Spade
0:34 damn, wasn't expecting Pinhead to be this real
If only fox, the WB, or upn could have created a sitcom starring Doug Bradley as pinhead.
True but he did alot of funny cameos for Mtv in the 90s sadly nearly most of it is lost or on someone's recorded vhs tape
So this is what happened before Pinhead crashes the club in Hellraiser 3...
Thanks, James.
"There is no torture like waiting in que"
Idk-Hell Priest probably
So does Pinhead's voice pitch rise as he runs out of breath?
I was watching this when it aired. I damn near split.
Now pinhead is getting interviewed by David in dbd
So they can do this in 1992 but they can't make him say "came" in DBD
its only a gripe but he shouldnt have referred to himself as pin head.
Lol he should've been hesitant in calling him "Pinhead" and then said under his breath, "Why do people call me that..."
Phelous brought me here.
This is so great
Great but sorely missing the modulation that is usually over the Pinhead's voice.
The 90s were wild 😂
Hell hath no fury like a Cenobite having to deal with a guest list.
"Ah the suffering. The sweet suffering."

Is that actually Doug Bradley there with David Spade?
Yes

The entity from Dead by daylight, when he hired pinhead 😃
Fascinating
This is Canon now.
Wonder if this skit paved the way for Just Shoot Me! Minus Pinhead lol
How on earth Pinhead Obeys this Man
I was so nervous through this whole video
His name was probably listed under “Hell Priest”
David Spade. The only person who defeat Pinhead
Pinhead's voice isn't as low pitched here as in the movies.
is this where little koriboh got the voice for bakora in yugioh abridged
Both are 2 classics.

David Spade looks _really_ different without his facial hair.
I wanna see more of Ashley Lawrence now

A bit too much dialogue for Pinhead to make this work.
Good on Doug Bradley for taking part in this kinda lame skit. Btw, I didn't know Pinhead had a mohawk!

some truth in what pinhead said about Hollywood
