    The best and the most informative video on the uplifter switch I have ever seen.
    I didn't even know I had factory pass though wires. The bulletin was very helpful.
    Mine is a 2019 Dually Crew F350 with to many Bells & Whistles. Still haven't figured all the buttons out.
    Thank you.

      Thank you Mike, I really really appreciate it! I'm glad it helped you. I noticed a lot of videos and websites were covering half the info or making it confusing. I try to cover everything and make it short and to the point.

    THANK YOU!!!! This is the BEST and most helpful video of the Auxilliary switches, panel, wires and the Passthrough wires (which I did not know even existed!). This is EXACTLY what I needed to know to install a small multi-USB box into the top center cubby of the dash on my F350, for my GPS, TPMS, and two phone chargers, running off the 12v supply from one of the Auxilliary switches. I will use Aux 6 (40 amp) and move that 5a fuse to enable battery supply. This will allow me to power all my dash mounted devices without a bundle of USB cables all over the place, and switch them all off with the flick of one of the overhead switches! PERFECT!!!!

      No, thank you Barry! I'm glad you think so. I was looking around when I was wiring mine up and I didn't find any good ones. Most gave some stuff, but not everything and some were nothing but talking as a tech wired stuff for em in the background as they rambled on about their new $80k plus truck they can't work on. Figured I could try and put out some better info. I'm glad it helped!

    Good job. This is the only video I've seen that actually discusses the location of the upfitter wires inside the cab. I never would have found them with only the I do provided in the owner's manual.

    On my 2021 the owners manual page 552, says the wires are;
    " Each switch includes a blunt-cut, sealed
    wire. The wires are under the instrument panel on the right-hand side of the passenger footwell."
    And in your video at 9:52 those wires are bundled right there in the video as you brush them aside looking for the pass-through wires. They are also color coded accordingly. I also have the same wire bundle coming out of the fuse box in the engine compartment. Might not have to use those pass-through wires.

      On my 2017 Powerstroke, those wires are not the Auxilliary switch wires. They are labelled for other functions and the color coding does not match the Aux switches/relays.

    I have a 2019 F350 and would like to find a passthrough port at the rear of the cab, where I could run a coax to a rear mounted antenna. Would you be able to help with my quest?

    • @k30krazy
      @k30krazy  2 года назад

      I'm sure there's a plug somewhere in the back seat area or back of the cab. When I ran my cb coax I just ran it down through a body plug on the passenger front floor board. I haven't had any issues. Just be careful getting the kick panel out of there...the one peg on the top likes to break. Have to start at the bottom and kinda lift turn and twist out if that makes any sense.

    • @k30krazy
      @k30krazy  2 года назад +1

      I'm guessing they don't expect you to need to use every switch inside the vehicle. Im not sure.

    • @BarryandKaren
      @BarryandKaren 2 года назад

      Those wires are unrelated to the Aux switches. The Aux switches are usually used for external devices, like lamps, pumps, etc . Ford probably doesn't think anyone needs/wants to pass through more than 4 circuits to the inside from the engine compartment.
