I’ve built my Sheoldred, shanna and hazezon decks. I loved watching this because it’s nice to see others build around these commanders. I will definitely be play testing my decks and of course… making some upgrades 😅
When I saw Erebos in Sheoldred player's hand, I knew Shanna would have a miserable time. Shanna draws, but Sheoldred makes her pay dearly for it, and then indestructible enchantment who stop lifegain. Rough!
I know this was a DMU commander showcase, but the Hazezon deck was looking really good. I feel like it could switch to Maja, Bretagard Protector (obviously dropping the red cards) and I bet it would be quite strong.
@@NewtDungeons yes, which is what I mentioned. I understand that the point was to show off DMU commanders. What I'm saying is that I think if they took the core of the hazezon deck and put it in a Maja deck (for a non-DMU showcase) that I think it would get a little more oomph.
@@NachWolf going from 3cmc to 5cmc, losing graveyard recursion for lands, halving the number of tokens you make, and losing a color does not seem like a way to increase oomph.
@@chrisstropki280 there is still plenty of graveyard recursion available in G/W, the deck only runs 6 red nonland cards, and are you REALLY halving the number of tokens you can make when you open the triggerable permanents up by 4x (and most of them being superior than tapped cycling deserts? @@brandyourfan9244 atleast at my LGSs there's always a gap between what people want from the format like in how competitive the decks are. So I get people annoyed if my decks too powerful in one game and then completely run over in the next.
@@frazerman1 It's hard to find that balance. Plus, there is a good deal of luck involved. I think you would have those same issues in other formats. I love commander because of those differences. I can play the same deck multiple times, and have completely different outcomes.

Great episode! Props to Jason for actually having that many tokens, albeit the wrong ones.
so much for people being skeptical on Hazezon because "deserts are bad"
I like that Sam is playing some *waaay* oversized cards. Big cards, big wins!
Loved the Hazezon deck, hope you guys bring it back for more episodes!

This was a really good game. The winner getting so low at one point made me think they were going to lose for sure
Sheoldred has to be a kill on sight commander
*Every preaetor is kill on sight
it is
@@mibbzx1493 Except for Urabrask. Poor thing.
@@88Eoghan nah that new urabrask that came put in MOM is definitely kill on sight 🤣 that does not apply anymore
Ishin be like
Shanna… because I just put together and my fingers are crossed!
Thank you for the great edh content!
Nice job on the 10k subscribers. another great episode as well!
GG everyone ,I want to have a special thanks to Jason , your deck is sweet to watch ,I'll be picking one up from sure
Logans playmat is amazing i want this one
Love the Solrock Sol Ring Proxy
Absolutely loving sheoldred
Loved seeing Sheoldred in action. Been considering building her 🖤
She like Tergrid are very easy to build mono colour commander decks.
That was a really great episode I enjoyed it 👏
Loving Sam’s playmat!
I’ve got sheoldred in my liesa deck and I know it didn’t work out for him but I still really want to build shanna
Shelly is sooo coool dayum! Gotta build her!
I made Stangg my self, he can be very scary, espcially in 1V1 games
yeah Sheoldred's price is hefty for a reason great game
Sheoldred for the Win!!
Sheoldred is an auto include in my seizan which I really love. One of my new win cons. Tempted to swap the commanders but seizan so cool and unique

How many tokens does Jason have? :D
That’s a lot of 1/1 tokens
Being able to loop that grasping dunes and creating 8 1/1s each time is absolutely goofy.
Is this the music from Risk of Rain?? Awesome soundtrack
It's actually an original piece of music made by one of our channel members!
@@SmoothBrainEDH it's a great track! Thanks for the reply
hazezon going hard
real winner is jason for not using dice with the tokens

The Hazezon in the video is from DMU.

Yeah Maja is fine but if you do that you're going to have a hard time looping Grasping Dune. That's one hell of a drug

I want to know logan’s playmat!!
All black commanders cool
The others should have Praetor their gods harder... sorry. Good game though!
Wow that were fun decks!
That is why you kill decks like Sholdred first they have to manny combos you canot give a break to decks like that.
I dislike commander but love these vids

Whoever played Hazezon didn't get the S memo.
The Hazezon from the video is from DMU.
Sheoldred is strong but it’s kind of lame
Sanguine bond and exquisite blood? Yawn…
I felt the same. Glad it fizzled instantly
Sheoldred is not fun
