Addy's clothes are the prettiest historical ones imo, outside of Felicity's riding outfit. My sister had the crinoline hoop and I remember trying to fit it under EVERY dress. I also loved the pantaloons, petticoats and accessories. They felt extra detailed!

I loved Addy! I ended up having to make the choice between Addy and Molly, and chose Molly cause she had glasses like me... I did have a little miniature Addy tho. I like these vids. Bring me back to my childhood. I loved getting tthe AG catalogue in the mail!!!! That story is soooo sweet!!

I would spend hours drooling over that catalogue! I used to have it memorized, as I'm going through these things, some of the stuff I can still remember...like the adjectives they used to describe things, but some I can't. I had Addy too and always felt she had the best stories and collections. I will say though that I've always felt that her doll face mold looks nothing like her in the illustrations. That's an ongoing issue I had with all the dolls especially after they started coming out with different face molds.

Addy was the last historical I ever owned and I had all of her outfits except the birthday dress. I think my favorite was her tartan plaid dress which I regretfully sold on ebay, but her school and meet outfits were great, too.

I also love her patriotic red dress from when she read the Emancipation Proclamation.

Hi, love your videos. They make me happy! You talked about the gourd not having a stopper; well I just bought my Addy from 1993 on eBay and she came with some accessories, including the gourd. The gourd doesn’t come with a stopper, you can use a stick or a rag to keep the water from spilling out. Thank you.

Beautiful! I bought PC Addy from her owner a teacher and she came in her school outfit with the pin and tag and booklet, she let me buy her in two installments (30 more than a new AG). Unfortunately her school supplies had been lost. My Addy, Coralee Suzanne, has now started to get either bubbleeye or silvereye and I would never change her eyes because of those eyelashes. I guess she needs eyeglasses now. I do have her birthday outfit, and I might have her meet dress.

Tori's story is definitely priceless!! I was lucky to be able to get so many pieces all at once. I would love to be able to find a Molly set like that, as I have the fewest pieces for her. Wow! I had the original addy same one you have and only a few dresses but my parents can’t find her and I’m so sad because replacing her would be so expensive! Plus I never had the trunk! Well now that I see your video I see why that trunk doesn’t show up on eBay very often!

It's so fun seeing a lot of Addy's PC treasures. That's really funny that you downsized the double desk yet kept her bed because I kept the desk and sold the bed/nightstand. It's my only doll desk that's actually a school desk, so I wanted to keep it for school scenes.
My favorite Addy dress that I have is her holiday dress. I have two now because I found one on a cheap doll in Goodwill. I also love her striped dress, which was my very first Addy item even before I got the doll herself. Someday I'd love to find the work dress and the cape island dress.

There's no such thing as an American Girl #1 - the first edition American girl dolls are either Samantha, Molly, or Kirsten and will have white cloth Bodies. Depending on condition they can sell from $150-$1000
