- Road condition is excellent throughout the journey except for 1-2 patch of like 200meters due to road work and diversions.. beware of interceptor and watch out for speed limit between Bhigwan and Solapur stretch. We found 3 in a gap of 5-6kms each..

1- Your Ecosport was petrol/diesel > what is the avg you got per litre?
2- Are there any places of interest to stop at apart from Naldurg Fort that you captured?
3- Good food spots, apart from those mentioned on the way?
4- You also said that between Bhigwan to Solapur patch, you found three interceptors in this patch, as in patrol vehicles or what? did they stop you, chase you, or what, please elaborate buddy?

1. I got a mileage of 16kmpl since i was maintaining 100-110kmph speed and rpm under 2500.
2. There are quite a few places, Solapur Science Center, Tillu's Agro Farmhouse(Demo of Village Life Experience and Farm cottage stay available too with excellent food), Bhuikot Fort, Famous Akalkot Temple, a beautiful white church which looks petty much like a lotus temple(between Karnataka and Hyderabad on this route, dont remember the exact name). And ofcourse you have plenty of places to visit in proper Hyderabad.
3. You have plenty of food option along the route, best one is on the pune expressway way though)
4. When i said interceptor, they are basically speed cameras places on a police car to monitor overspeeding vehicle and to fine them, they dont chase anyone, if you get caught on the camera above permissible speed limit, they will send you challan on sms that you need to pay online.

Just one question, how much was total fuel cost? As I also have an Ecosport, would like to know the total fuel cost.. and was it petrol or diesel?
It roughly took 44 litres of petrol from Thane to Hyderabad with 3 people and decent 5 days luggage. Mine is Automatic 2016 Titanium variant. Average speed was between 100-110kmph

There was no checking going on at Karnataka, Telangana or Maharashtra state borders either way for RTPCR in November 2021. Probably due to this new strain Omicron, guidelines might change.. one of my mate crossed karnataka to maharashtra today and there was no checking yet..

Road is good ...so many tolls ...driving through traffic in pune will be challenging ...is this the only route from Mumbai??

110-120kmph is consistently doable. Just watchout for speedlimit between Bhigwan to Solapur patch. I found three interceptors in this patch after every 5-6kms gaps.
